Yesterday I went to my new comic shop that I found in town. Had to get Angel issue 4. Anyways, the comic owner called me over to him to show me a TPB he had for The Long Way Home. It was a hardcover. I was jealous, I wanted it of course. But there was no price on it because it was for the sellers I guess. He told me if I could find the price on it to let him know.
I came across only 1 on tfaw. Wasn't sure if it was the same but it said $50.00. I told my comic guy that today when I went in and he said he would sell it to me for $25.00. I of course said yes because I wasn't sure if I would see anything like it again for that kind of price.

Anyone else either have one or come across one? And does anyone know if they will have that for every Buffy TPB?

It was for sale in Sydney for $50 as well. I'd love one, but I'll be broke paying that much for each arc :/

$25 for a hard cover TPB is pretty good. I've seen then priced as high as $50 to $60, before going to the second market.

Well my comic shop guy got it for free. It was given to him because he orders all the comics monthly. I believe, but not 100% sure, that all the shops get one. So since he didn't pay for it, it was nothing for him to sell it to me for $25.00.

I am going to be selling my other TPB on monday on ebay, since I don't need two.

Those store incentives are pretty nice. A few years back I was an assistant number store manager at a local comic book/gaming store, and we were always getting all sorts of free limited edition stuff for ordering a certain number of books form each title. Sadly this was just after Dark Horse ended it's first run of Buffy.
