PF Spike

[Tranquillity]

Inspired by Tab Ras' PF Buffy thread here are some pictures of PF Spike. The likeness is very good and the coat has wire in the hemline so that it looks all billowy. I do wish that the "Spike" title was written in either Buffy or Angel font but that's my only complaint. I just love him.

Man he is a beautiful statue. Thank you for posting photos. I love seeing him in person...well you know what I mean.

I read that most of the people do not like the 'spike' on the front so much. It's not too bad, but I wouldn't have minded Buffy font as well.

The only thing I don't get is why is his shirt striped? He never wears a striped shirt in the show so I just think that is a bit odd. Otherwise it is really cool!

I love it. It looks so lifelike. Love that his jacket billows out. I agree about the striped shirt & the font of his name, but he's still gorgeous!

For the PF figures they usually use Promo pics. I am not sure in this case if they did the same thing, but it's possible?

Now you've got me thinking - didn't he wear a red shirt a lot in the early years? now i'm gonna have to check that out, darn, i guess i'll just have to go a watch some Buffy:)

I just had a very quick look on a screecap site and Spike did wear a striped red shirt in Lover's walk and season 4, though he doesn't seem to have worn it in season 5,6 or 7, but i could be wrong - it was a very quick look. here are a couple of examples...

Hey :) Thanks for sharing, love the pic's, he looks brilliant! I love the detail on him and the billowy shirt, and also agree about the writing, it would have looked great Buffy style. I also have a spike figure that I got a few years back...I'd love to be able to add this one to my collection aswell! lol :-)

Wow, he's great! Wonderful likeness. I agree that the "Spike" would have looked better in the Buffy or Angel font, but that's not really a big deal.

Quick question, though...how big is he? He looks huge, especially compared to the trains in the background.

He's pretty big - about 60cm or (i think) about 24inches tall
