I loved this episode! It was really funny, and it was good to see that Andrew had an episode. OK, I think Andrew is an idiot but this episode brought out the greatness in him:p. I would sooo do a video like that! haha, and loved the anya eating grapes and Buffy with the cereal thing! teehee

I think it's funny that he knew so many personal facts about Buffy and the Scoobies. (Maybe those hidden cameras were installed a whole lot earlier than folks thought.

i really really enjoyed andrew, he was always so funny, and this ep is one of the funniest of the entire series for me. But we also see that yes, in the end, he's just a scared little boy who in deeper than he can handle. but i think we can all relate to that feeling sometimes.

This is possibly my favourite episode of the entire series, and I completely love Andrew.
I like how he finally took responsibility for his actions at the end of the episode. It added a bit more depth to his character.

I really love this one too. Andrew is really a terrific character. He's quite multifacited. On one hand he's been part of a trio that was completely amoral, he was involved in crime and murder yet on the other hand he is so naive and strangely innocent. And then he's not scared to ask Xander and Anya the hard questions either. He's certainly creative and intellegent and at the end of the episode we see he has much more depth than previously supposed. Storyteller is a great episode.

I love this episode! Andrew rules! Though I get really mad when my friends who watch Buffy always say he's the character I'm most like :p But, back on topic, I love this episode, you see sides of characters that you didn't see before. The Xander and Anya love revelations...I cried my eyes out...And Spike's so funny :p Anywho, great episode, seriously underrated.

I did love this episode. It was a nice moment of lightness amidst how dark and heavy the season was slowly getting. And when we kept seeing things through Andrew's perspective- particularly the kitchen scene- I just couldn't stop laughing. It was excellent.
And did you notice that everyone started off with a 'GO AWAY ANDREW!' attitude but Andrew could be such a surprisingly good sweet talker than within five minutes that very person was willingly talking about themselves on screen. Haha.
And yeah, you guys are right; when he finally does take responsibility for his actions it adds so much depth to his character. That's the moment when he stops being just for comic relief.
Favorite part? Spike shouting at him agressively for Andrew filming him, only to a split moment later break the menace mold and say 'Oh, what? The light isn't right? I'll stand here, how about this?' Haha!

This is one of my favourite episodes ever. I'm glad they made an "Andrew episode". This is probably the funniest episode ever! The way he says Buffy the Slayer of the "VAMpires", he tells what happened when Dark willow tried to kill him but what we hear is a VERY different version of what really happened, he makes fun of Buffy's LONG speeches ("Well, shall we see if Buffy’s still talking?" Buffy is still talking: "…I mean mentally. And from what I’ve seen so far, there’s no way you girls are ready"... Andrew: "She’s not done. Even Willow looks bored and she usually can take a lot of that stuff."), Andrew telling stuff about buffy&spike's past, anya, etc: Andrew: "It’s a full house. I think it’s a good time to do some introductions, don’t you, gentle viewers?"Amanda says: "I’m Amanda and I grew up right here—". Andrew: "Not you, sweetheart. Let’s start from the top." :
You’ve already met Buffy. She’s beautiful, with a lion’s heart and the face of an angel. She’s never afraid because she knows her side will always win.
Buffy and Spike have some kind of history. You can feel the heat between them although, technically as a vampire, he’s room-temperature.
Anya. A feisty waif with a fiery temper and a vulnerable heart that she hides even from herself. And this lovely girl... I don’t remember her name.
LOL
Another funny moment:
Andrew: Oh, hey, here’s something I think you’re going to be
interested in, gentle viewers.
(He angles the camera into the living room where Willow and Kennedy sit on the sofa, kissing. But this isn’t Andrew’s focus. He continues panning up and frames the living room curtains..)
Andrew: Look at the fine work Xander did replacing the window sash. You can’t even tell it’s new, it blends so well. He’s extraordinary.
... Andrew singing in Mexico (la cucaracha..), The Trio dancing and singing (lol), etc etc. I can watch this episode over and over and it's always funny and awesome :cheering:
Edit:
Oh, and Andrew's drawings!!

I pretty much knew that this episode was gonna be awesome and hilarious when I saw Jane Espenson is credited for writing the episode.
A general trend I've noticed is that the episodes I like the most are written by her. The only episodes I like more than hers are the ones credited to Joss.

Storyteller is one of my favorite episodes. Mainly because of Andrew. We see a lot more of him, we see new sides of him, and we get to see how Andrew's world is like.
Seeing a lot more of Andrew is always a good thing. He has always been "Tucker's brother" but broke free of that by making himself what he calls "a super villain" :D
New sides of Andrew is both good and bad. Andrew is still human, and even though it didn't always seemed like it, he cared a lot for Jonathan and he even says "I killed my best friend"... The whole part of that is heartbreaking, and filled with emotion. All because Andrew wanted a world where he wouldn't be the brother of someone, but actually just be someone.
Andrew's world fascinates me.... he is a bit naive ("We are as Goooods, Gods are we!") but it makes him funny. Andrew , apparantly, sees the world in a slight different light than the rest of us, and he choose to focus a bit more on the....male characters (Zooming in on Xander making a window, instead of Kennedy and Willow making out).
Storyteller gave us the full character fact about Andrew, and that's just....great :D

I have to agree with all about this episode, the one thing I love also is how he idolizes Xander, with the whole work on the window, and miming his speech. He really added something to season 7 for me.

I lol'ed so much when he was in the kitchen
"This lovely girl....I don't remember her name."
(Even though it's from another episode, when Faith in in the backyard. Chao Yunn talks in her own language, and Andrew just nods like he gets it.. it's so great)

I like the fact that he understood Buffy and Spike's relationship: "Buffy and Spike have kind of a history. You can feel the heat between them, although technically , as a vampire, he's room temperature" lol!
This part made me laughing out loud the first times I saw it.

Totally... Plus, Spike with no shirt on? Andrew has good taste.

Every time I watch this scene I always think to myself: God, they look like a fresh-just married couple. And they look so beautiful!
