I was wondering why she hadn't worked out how to give Angel back his soul without that pesky curse part yet.

lol, I loved the part where Wesley asked her if anything else has changed in her life and Willow says no and only seconds after that asks about Fred in this way she did
and Willow and Cordy talking. It makes me sad they didn't talk when Cordy was herself, so Willow could've seen what a nice person she became.

I REALLY loved this episode, but did anyone else think that Willow didn't seem like herself at times? I mean, some of her lines just didn't seem very Willow-ish, probably because it wasn't written by a Buffy writer. The "handsome yet androgynous son" line, as funny as it was, seemed a bit out of character (but "the sneer's genetic" part was definitely something she'd say.) And her whole ramble about how good things come in jars made it seem like the writer was trying to capture Willow's voice, but it didn't really work out.
That aside, I was so happy to see Willow on Angel! The mere fact that she, Faith, and Angelus were in it made it one of the best episodes ever.

YES! (oh, sorry.) I've always felt that the writer didn't have a handle on Willow at all, and didn't even really seem to know what had been going on with her - which struck me as strange, because supposedly, Mere Smith was a big fan of the character. But everything from Willow's dialogue to her action blocking was just... off.

Apparently the curse is integral with the soul, and he can't have one without the other. The soul was, after all, a curse. (maybe he should get the address of Ol' Lurkey from Spike. He could undergo some trials to get soul and curse separated, then he could get a happy without going all Angelus all over the place.)

I also loved the episode but it did seem a little off to me considering what was going on with willow on buffy season seven. because if i'm correct wasn't willow a little well alot afraid of using her powers.

that sucks for him, though Angel can get some anyway without the threat of losing his soul, as Wes says a few times TRUE happiness is really rare. anyway Angel slept with Nina and didn't go evil. i prefer him being cursed though, i think Angel is better with Angelus lurking over his shoulder, he is the opposite of himself both dark and light, makes him more interesting
