Okay, I just watched this episode and I think I noticed something. There is this girl at the Bronze, the one that Willow bites, I think her name was Sandy. Is she the same that Riley met at that demon bar once? Same name and she looks like it. On the other hand, Willow just bit her and dropped her, so how did she end up all vamped?

That's actually something I always wonder when I see that! And I just looked it up and it turns out it IS the same person. So somehow she entered the world of siredom. Not sure how. But it was defiantly the same actress; Megan Gray. So, I'm not sure.

this raises a question. When you're getting turned, does the vamp who lets you drink have to be the same that drank your blood. Maybe because of the blood exchange?
I have no idea how exactly it works (I'm not sure, but I think in the vampire chronicles it was explained like this), would be interesting to know though.

But VampWill deliberately didn't turn her so as to make a point to the other Bronzers. The whole 'If you're we'll make you young and strong forever. If you're not...' at which point she bit Sandy and threw her aside.

But SOMEONE must have turned her at some point then if it is indeed the same actress as Bof pointed out....

Well, that's about the same thing that happened with Harmony. We see her grabbed and bitten vy a vampire, then the scene switches to something else. I can't see a vampire stopping to sire someone in the middle of a battle, but maybe that vampire or another was wounded and accidentally bled close enough to Harm that some blood splashes or dripped onto her lips or into her mouth.

As for Sandy, maybe her one last act of defiance before dying was biting one of Vamp Willow's minions on the leg.

I cannot tell you how much the image you painted there made me laugh. And it's put Sandy in a completely different light for me now. You do realize I won't be able to watch that scene without thinking of that and giggling? I hope you're happy.

good point about Harmony... i didn't actually realize it was the same actress though, i will def have to go back and see. Maybe they just used the girl again, and figured most people wouldn't notice? at least until the dvds came out and we could watch it painstakingly over and over lol.

If you think about it, both actors and characters tend to pop up again and again, in moments when you tend to least expect it.

OH, my bad, my memory isnt serving, i havent watched ep in ages, im gonna start run through from season 1 through 2 7, tomorrow, so my memory is refreshed, well and its fun.

Well, you are in Sunnydale, where the vampire population is very high, so who's to say someone couldn't get bitten twice, or more?

Well, VampWillow fed for a short time, and may have just left Sandy unconscious, or like the insane Vampire in Season 3, perhaps it only requires them to be drained to a dangerous point and the Vampire can do something as inane as bite their own tongue and let their blood flow back into the wound.

The newly Sired would be weak but the transformation would happen sooner the less they were drained, and they'd have to feed soon after, but both times there were other people nearby they could feed from.

In the Buffyverse actors have been used more than once, like the actor who played Luke in season 1 returned to play the Judge in season 2. But with the writters having picked the same actress and given her the same character name and same species if you like, then I'd say its a follow on from this episode. And like white avenger said, we never see Harm changed into a vamp but it obviously happened sometime during a huge battle.
