Whatever happened to Dru?

The last time we saw Drusilla in a contemporary setting was in "Crush" when she came to get her sweet William back to rejoin the family, but alas, she discovered that his affections had altered somewhat and that even she could 'save' him now. She faded into the darkness never to be seen again...

I can't help but wonder what happened to her - Any theories?
this would probably make good fanfiction.

personally, i would like to see Drusilla again, I think she and Angel and Spike have unfinished business. In my dream scenarion i'd love Angel and co. to get out of Hell with Gunn still undusted as a bad ass vampire and for he and Dru to team up for some major mayhem! Any other ideas?

^ Well, in our RPG world, Dru teams up with a vampire vampire slayer and a rogue slayer to steal the scythe. She's awesome.

I also once read a fanfic in which she came back to seduce Buffy's child into vampirism - to make another Spike out of him as repayment for the one Buffy took.

There are tons of directions in which to take it. I, personally, love that Dru is still undead somewhere and able to come back and wreak all kinds of havoc on the lives of Buffy and the boys she stole from Dru.

That's a good question, and she came on Angel a few times, but when Darla came back in season three, she wasn't with her, I always wondered where Dru went. I don't think it's something the writers ever thought to bring up.

At one point, it was said that she'd turn up in issue 10 of Buffy Season 8, but that never happened. Maybe she will turn up later this Season or perhaps in Season 9. I'd love to see her again... I doubt we've seen the last of her.

Yep "Crush" was the last we saw of her, but I am crossing my fingers for a sweet entrance in season 8.

Maybe she went back to Brazil to make things up with the Chaos Demon since that whole getting back with Spike thing blew :lmao:

I kinda want her to go after Connor.

I mean, he's her metaphysical brother/uncle/grandson. From Dru's perspective, he probably seems like the most logical companion for her unlife. She was always very into family. Besides, she needs a boy to make up for the ones that Buffy took from her. Also, it makes for some good revenge on Angel (for the whole burning her alive thing). If I were Dru, I'd vamp Connor for sure. I'm actually really surprised she hasn't done so yet.

I hope the rumours that she'll be in the current arc of season eight are true but i love PV's (^) idea that she go after Connor - I could totally see her trying to re-build her lost family in this way, mind you, i don't think it would end well for her - if she did anything to Connor, Angel would make sure she had a very dusty ending.

Dru could be the perfect catalyst for a Buffy/Spike/Angel crossover: She shows up, causes her usual mayhem and destruction, and Buffy calls in "daddy" and "sonny" to take charge of their wayward charge. Maybe they could work Dana in there somewhere, since she and Dru sorta have the same problems. Dru is a vampire driven insane by another vampir, and Dana is a human driven insane by another human. Dru can see the future, and Dana seems to be channeling the past through the memories of former Slayers. A match made in hell.
