Anyway, I have a couple of new additions which I can share with you, Cold As Ice featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar, and an untitled piece featuring the gorgeous David Boreanaz:-

Actually hun i dont know if its just me but....... None of the images are showing up on your site, unless you actually view them full size but as for the thumbnail versions you cant see them nor the header lol

Weird as far as I know I can't see why they wouldn't be showing for you AB.

I've checked in 3 different browsers now - Firefox, IE and AOL, and they are all showing for me - but then they were anyway 'lol' If anyone else is having problems viewing them, can you let me know please - thanks! :)

Don't die of shock but I'm posting 2 more new pieces! AOL had problems this morning so I lost my internet for a few hours which meant I wasn't distracted by the net at all 'lol'

See, without distractions, I can be productive. :D

Anyhoo, I was inspired by Angels baby101's Michelle Trachtenberg piece, as the image she used was so beautiful - I wanted to have something sort of tropical and washed out - I'm pretty pleased with the result. :) The other piece is of Alyson Hannigan which in contrast is a much darker piece but still fairly colourful & cheerful piece, no real idea for this, just liked the pic of Alyson. :)

Anyway, hope you like them. :)

I love them they completly rock the artwork is just brilliant and you have a knac for drawing them out so they stand out and there really noticeable.

I love all these pieces, they are just as beautifully fantastic as always (::curses edb:: ) I especially love the Cold as Ice once- it's really stunning. And the Michelle one really appeals to me. For some reason it makes me think of Beatrix Potter, haha.

Loving these new 4. It was tough deciding who gets to be my new wallpaper first, but after pooling the judges and flipping a coin Cold as Ice made it to the top.

I like it stretched best, because it gets a black border which really seems to work well.

Really beautiful work, my favourite is the Michelle. Can you tell me what filters you used on it? It looks sort of grainy.. but not quite. Love the effect, really stunning!

I should really make a note of what filters I use sometimes as I often look back and want to get the same effect again and can't remember what I did 'lol'

I *think* firstly I duplicated the image of Michelle, putting the top on screen to lighten the whole image of her, then merged the 2 layers. Then I used Watercolour, then I used paint daubs.

When I have more time later I will get the PSD file out and take a proper look and let you know for sure, but I think that's what I did. ;)

No new art today, but as I know there are a few of you here that use my textures I just wanted to let you all know that I made & uploaded a bunch of new textures to my site today, in fact 18 all together, I think they have improved a little since the last batch I made..well, at least I think so anyway. :drunk: 'lol'

Gosh, it's been a while since I updated my thread. Anyway, after spending the day making a new layout for my site I actually made a new wallpaper.

It's an older pic of Alyson Hannigan, but it's such a pretty picture of her I just had to make something with it. Plus I was also trying out some new techniques too :)

Must have forgot to comment on Connor, it's lovely. I love me some Connor art, and this is really elegant. :) But enjoy this latest one a little more, love the different colours and just where you've placed Willow and Xander. I have no idea what the background is though.. is it from high school jackets? This would make a sweet banner or something for a website.

OK, yeah, Doctor Horribles cool, but those other ones are inspired.

The Tara one is simple yet hypnotic. What does that quote say?

Mom, Mom, Mommy. That's great, so easy to grok, so basic, yet so powerful. Others must have done similar, but that one I'll remember.

And Willow with static hair...:lmao: Giggles.

I'll bet other banner makers look at those, and get that 'Why didn't I think of that' reflex, but as the saying goes "Not to worry. You will".

I love your stuff! One thing I've been wondering is just how long it takes for you (on average) to make a banner? I'm sure I'll get quicker as I get more used to photoshop, but it still takes me ages to get happy with something.

I've just entered this blend on another forum, and seeing as though it's a Buffy one, thought I would share it here too! :)

The challenge was to make something to do with the episode 'Innocence', and I really wanted to focus on the scene near the end of the episode, when Buffy & Giles are in the car together. I've always liked this scene, and I think it's a very touching Giles/Buffy moment. :) I didn't want to go for the obvious Buffy/Angel moments.

This piece I mafe for my second entry for Alexa's 'Innocence' challenge, and I decided to pick the scene where Willow sees Xander & Cordelia together. You could see that she was devastated, and I think she felt betrayed by Xander especially as he was supposed to hate Cordelia so much. I tried to used the general messy/swirlyness of the textures to emphasise her confusion and how messed she felt after seeing them kissing, and hopefully the caps I used also convey this as well. :)

This is an awesome piece. And I love that it's so simple and definitive of an important moment between Xander and Willow... instead of Buffy/Angelus typical Innocence thing. Gorgeous colours and textures as well... very emotional work there Sar.. Ally making me want to cry, lol.
