Which person is right for Fred?

Fred, assuming she could be split away from Illyria successfully, would be great with Willow, leaving Kennedy to hook up with Rona and patrol the Antarctic hellmouth (In the event that there's not one there, they can wait around until one forms)

No doubt from the beginning that Fred and Wes belonged together. I hated it took them so long to do so.

Fred and Gunn. Before they got all weird they were a really great couple. That's where my vote lies. It can't be Wes cuz he's tied up (literally) with Lilah.

I'm with Kenoite with this one. Gunn all the way.

Wes definitely. It annoyed me to no end when Gunn and Fred got together when it was obvious that Fred and Wes were meant to be together.

I'm a Fresley girl. I was rooting for them two to get together from the very beginning. Wesley/Fred are love :D

Wesley. It's so upsetting that they hardly got to be together :(

Wesley! Fresley was my favorite Angel couple, and it's so sad how they barely got to be together.
If Wes hadn't been an option, though, I would've gone with Willow. They were great together, and we all know it!

Charles Gunn. Fred and Wesley seemed to have this taint of incest . . . despite the fact that they are not related. Charles and Fred were a lot of fun before Joss ruined it all with "Symmestry". Fred and Wesley were boring . . . and disturbing at the same time.

Definitely Gunn. I think they worked so well, especially when they had to run Angel investigations alone at the start of s4.. Also, I think Wesley belonged with Lilah, they suited each other so much better.. I liked the darkness of Wes's character when he was with Lilah, with Fred, he was a little dull.

Honestly? I think that both Charles and Wesley were better off WITHOUT Fred.

I have to go with Wesley too. I thought they would get together sooner or later. Her affair with Gunn came as suprise to me to be honest.

To be truthfull, I think that Fred was destined to be with Wes all the way. I loved the chemistry between the two of them.

Hey, you've left out "InsaneMystic" as one of the options! :)
Barring that, I wholeheartedly support WA's Frillow scenario. (But even though, I very much enjoyed watching the Fresley kiss at the end of "Smile Time".)
Now that I think of it, it's kind of weird - I find Fred & Willow the two cutest & hottest Buffyverse women (with Fred a tad cuter and Will a tad hotter) and crush quite heavily on either; however, in terms of jealousy I react totally different to them. While for Will, the mere thought of seeing her with anyone but Tara or Fred makes me uncomfortable (I remember that WillOz, much as I loved Oz himself and think it was objectively a lovable ship, was torture for me to watch first time around, jealousy-wise), while with Fred, I would enjoy seeing her with anyone on the above list (even though I have preferences; what I'm trying to say is no ship on the list would make me squirm in my seat with jealousy).

gotta be Wes they were perfect for each other so much in common.

I heart Fresley. I didn't like Gunn anyway, and I really didn't think he deserved Fred. What was that girl thinking?!

Uargh... only minutes ago ran into a spoiler here (I've only seen the eps up to "Smile Time" yet) - and while I knew Fred would die and turn into Illyria, I didn't know Knox was responsible for it! So I would like to scratch him from the list. ::fire::

I think Willifred would be awesome, but I like Fred with Wesley the best.

I like the sparks between Fred and Willow when Willow was on Angel. Since then I always wish them to be together. They really fit.

Well, this is one simple little question. Clearly, Fred would be better off with me!

I loved all ships, but Fred/Willow is so my OTP 'cause I'm a crazy person like that. Love "Orpheus!"

I voted for Wesley because they obviously had a big thing going on, but deep down I would have loved to see more of Fred and Willow together :D

I voted Wesley. His love for Fred is so deep (and he was willing to shoot his own father to save her). But if not Wesley I actually think Lorne had a bit of a thing for her.

Fredley FTW!
I did like Fred and Gunn before that went all crap but I just think that Fred and wesley suited each other a lot better.
They were ever so cute together, makes me so happy :happy30:.

Even though I'm a Spuffy at heart, I'm probably going to get shot down for this because I voted Spike.
I know that Fred and Spike hit it off at the start of S5 and that it was in her nature to help anyone in need even if her priorities did get screwed up at times.
Spike had an affection for Fred that was clearly displayed when sparring with Illyria, and I think that given enough time together they would have clicked.
But, upon saying that - whether or not Fred would have dated a vamp is an entirely different question and if not, I'd have to have gone with Wesley - he and Fred were academically suited to each other amongst other things.

No offense but....stupid q! Fred and Wesley are made for each other! Their love was beautiful to the end. And I wouldn't have wanted anybody else for Fred.

Wesley and Fred belonged together. That was aparent from the start. Wesley could never gather the proper amount of cahones to approach her but at the end you could see that had she not become Illyria they totally would have been super.

It's so hard to decide, whenever I watch Angel I end up getting torn between Wes and Fred and Gunn and Fred. Granted Wes and Fred had their moments, but Gunn and Fred was a lot more developed and more in-depth then Wes and Fred were. I always feel so bad whenever I watch "A Hole In The World", though.
It makes me so happy to see all the Wes/Fred love in the poll, apart from B/A they are my favourite Whedonverse couple. Jsut so sweet and tender and then both get down to business and can be strong and dependable and yet codependent on each other - not explained well, but I know what I mean :)

^yeah... They are so sweet together. It broke my heart when she sings the sunshine song, and then just spits blood in Wesley's face

*don't kill me* There were no actual sparks between Fred and Willow, that whole scene was just Willow sorely misinterpreting the situation, it came off as a little presumptuous to me frankly and Fred just seemed really confused.
Anyway I'm a Fred/Gunn shipper. Wesley and Fred were sweet there at the end, but it came and went so fast to me that it was hard to really get attached to it. I more felt for how heartbroken Wes was left after Fred died and how he lingered for what could have been, but I never really mourned them as a couple. I think Fred and Gunn had a real solid relationship, I just loved them together and I really wish Joss hadn't gone out of his way to screw it up.
That's kind of a hard question for me to answer. I mean, I love Fred. I think she should be with me (and I'm almost-certainly-gay and all... (but for Fred I would sooo leave D*cktown)). Anyway, ahem.
I never really liked Fred/Gunn. They seemed to have more of a brother/sister relationship and got fooled into thinking it was love, like it sometimes happens in life. I always thought she'd be with Wes, I was so shocked to learn she'd first date Gunn ! I liked this couple because there was Fred in it but didn't really adore it.
I think I'm more of a Fresley kinda guy (nooo it has nothing to do with the fact that the love of my life is also named Wesley, ahem, why do I keep talking about my love life on this post?). But along the way, some things really creep me out :
- When Wesley asks Lilah to keep the glasses on : PERVERT MUCH???
- When Wesley asks Illyria to "lie to him" : Respect for your dead lover much?
So I'm not an inconditional. Plus Wesley seems kinda old for her, it looks like she's looking for a daddy. xD just kidding!
Knox well he doesn't deserve talking about. Anyone involved in my Fred's death should be completely forgotten.
And Angel... Well... Angel's Fred's big brother. And like a little sister, she's the one that always sticks by him, understands him, gives him advice, and practically worships him. I loved how she got over him at the end of "Fredless".
As for Spike... Come on, Fred deserves better than that.
And Willow... I would have liked it I guess if they started dating, but only in a "Fred falls in love with ONE woman" way, not like Willow who falls in love with a woman and decides she's totally gay (I never really liked this, it was like Joss Whedon and crew were like "Okay, now we can't go back and make her bi or all the gay fans will just go away"... though imo it would have been more credible, and we wouldn't have had to bear Painnedy). I think she's open enough to let herself try this, and they could have made a good couple, if only Fred had lived longer... //still grieving.
