Well my old thread (http://www.buffy-boards.com/showthread.php?t=30795&page=14) was just over 200 posts, so thought it was time for a new one.
Whipped this up this afternoon.. quite happy with it. Wanted to make a Serenity art and somehow get a feeling of distance in the piece. Inspired by a friends work, with the squiggles so it's not entirely original. But now it came out pretty well I wish I made it bigger.

This is me attempting to redo something I've already done fan art from. But this time I'm much better with backgrounds etc.. plus Buffy and Angel are so cute here. Here's my other version (http://http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/bangel.jpg)

Pretty sure I can post non Whedon stuff here... although I guess it does have Summer in it :) I made this for the 'time' challenge.. but I don't think it really captures much about time travel, so don't think I'll bother entering it. I fell in love with the images, didn't want to alter it. So here it is.. kinda promoy piece.

Owh and also this will prolly be my last art for a month or so cause I'm going overseas.. unless I'm totally bored by some miracle tomorrow. Should be busy packing though, tend to leave everything till last. :p
That looks GREAT - love the colour, textures & placement!! :D I really enjoyed TSCC - hope they renew it. *crosses fingers*
Hope you have a great time overseas too btw - I know I for one will miss seeing your fabulous art whilst you are away! ;)

Hey all. Not sure how I managed to make this being so sleepy.. but I watched WSWB yesterday, and don't think I've ever made any art from it before, which is weird because I love the episode. So I made some :)

Neato. Pretty new pretties. :)
I love this episode, and especially that scene and the multiple shots you've used together work really well. And I lurve the dark coloring. You've definitely captured the sultry darkiness of the scene.

Really nice. I like the off-kilter, things sliding off the edge of the composition. Interesting colors. It's hard to make something look spontaneous and orderly...but there it is.

Had this picture of SMG for a while.. felt like doing something cool with it. Plus I just love this quote from her, James Bond should totally be a girl for a while. :D

Nice work, as always. I especially like the Serenity piece.
Question: when you do larger pieces, what is the intent? Are larger pieces intended to be desktop wallpapers? I ask because I, myself, have only done avatars and banners, but I see a lot of people (like you) focusing on larger pieces.

Great work, as always. I love the latest SMG piece. It was a fantastic, stunning photoshoot of her and I always liked that quote you used. Hehehe. And the way you've played around with it is neat. In conclusion: I like it. :D Haha.
Very nice work Alexa, I love the Alyson one. :)

Always wanted to do some cool art from becoming but the caps always seem a little dodgy to me.. Also notice that the quality of the tv show and caps go up considerably past season 2? Anyway.. messed around with this enough, so might as well post it.

I like it! I think it looks neat. You don't see a whole lot of art from Becoming. I think you captured the tone of the episode. Kudos! Well-done.

Great Becoming piece. And I adore the Whistler quote you used :D.
As for the bad quality of screencaps, I think it has something to do with how season 1 and 2 were done on different sized film to the rest of the series. Joss said the only way those two seasons of episodes don't look flat, dull and 2D because of it is due to the fact that had an amazing lighting guy. But I don't think it comes off on stills you know?

Oh my gosh, I love that. My initial reaction was in fact 'That is so getting plastered all over my desktop'. Haha. I love it, the colord, words, caps, style, placement, everything.
And the sweetness of Tillow always makes me smile. :)

Thanks for all the Tillow compliments. :) Life is sort of crazy right now, but I enjoyed making this yesterday. It's for a competition actually, but I'll post it for them later.. they always want a long winded explanation. Seems fairly straight forward to me :p

Looks great, it shows the great contrast between Buffy & Faith's personalities but I love that you have avoided the obvious black/white and gone for different colours to show the contrast! Works really, really well! :D

Hey all. Made this today for no reason really... just messing around with this new background that I liked, and mixed all these Eliza pics around. Wish I could enter it in something.. something I made yesterday for a competition sucked. :p
Oh and the lyrics are from Jet, Put your money where your mouth is. I know that picture of Eliza has been around for so long, but never really used it till now.
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/eliza2.jpg (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/eliza.jpg)
ooo... Pretty new Eliza piece, and you know, it's quite different for you, what I mean is that I wouldn't look at it and know that you had done it, it's still a very unique style but to me it does seem different from your previous pieces. :D Still fantastic though, and I love the colouring!

Been fiddling with this Vincent piece for a while.. think I'm done. Wanted to do something with these photos for a while, and damn he makes me blush looking at them for so long! what's that about? ;)
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/vincent2.jpg (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/vincent.jpg)
Funky!:D Looks fantastic - love how you did the text on that one! As for making you blush - I think it's that look on his face, it's sorta one of 'them' looks, you know....

Welcome to my first solo James Marsters fan art :cheering: Heh. Not sure how many years I've been making Buffy art... 5 or so? And this is my first with him... and not that hard because he's got so many good photos. Feels like I'm using too many blues lately, but just suited the piece.
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/james2.jpg (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/kangarulz/james.jpg)
Wow - seriously your first JM solo piece in 5 years? 'lol' And what a solo piece it is! :D The blue colours do suit the images so well though, and I really liked the swirls with the grungey texture! :D Fantastic!
