okay this thread is a little well alot bias. it is to all those out there that love, admire, and missed cordy in season 5. okay what if there was a way to go back and intergrate cordy into the season i know alot of people seem to think its impossible but if i had a go i'd do it like this. alright i would have cordy wake up at the very end of the fourth episode but make her return in the fifth. and that episode would be comprised of the lovey-dovey stuff everyone saying how much they missed her especially angel. then angel and cordy are about to admit thier feelings when a vision hit her and there off to fight it the whole gang. a little after that lorne and angel would be talking about cordy and him(angel) and how he feels he should give her some space so that she can readjust. then spike would be introduce his story line would be basically the same expect cordy would use her white to bring him back but the force of excerting so much light in a place of darkness drains her she'd be out of commission for a little while but not episodes though you know a little while on that episode. then i'd have lindsey make his episode arc now that spike's corporeal again and you know use him. i'd keep the damage episode but make it more graphic show dana really psychotic and cordy would be linked to her seeing and feeling her pain which is why cordy instead of angel would have saved spike and healed dana with her light like she did connor which would have given room for dana to return at the end of the series to try and atone for her wrong doing in angel's final battle. then the illyria arc cordy would have had a vision of the deeper well and send spike and angel off the england. while she and wesley comforts fred when cordy recieves a call from angel saying they cant save fred. while fred and wesley's alone the go through what happened in the original version. illyria emerges the team fights her until the ending in shells occures. after that connor would return in a two episode arc first the one in origin except some differences such as cordy recognizing him but he doesn't know her and the second after his memory return they'd discuss what happened in season 4. the team would take out the black thorn and finally face the senoir partners face to face in the final episode in that ensuring battle LA would be sucked into a hell dimension. see and there it is that's how i would do it i think joss should have brung cordy back for season 5 it would have been wonderful. oh and throughout the entire season the gang would have been figuring out way to bring down the senoir partner form the inside out. and i'd also tie up any loose ends from other seasons.

Honey, I'm not trying to be mean, but the sheer lack of punctuation and capital letters, combined with a few spelling errors and the occasional ramble, made me incapable of deciphering exactly what it is you're trying to get at. Do you think you could slow down a bit so the rest of us can follow you?

basically what i'm saying is my version of what could of been done if cordy was brought back for season 5 then asking how you guys would do it.

Yeah - I absolutely LOVED Cordelia, would liked to have had her more in season 5 BUT if the story you proposed was the one I had to watch...I'm now satisfied with just the once in You're Welcome.
Thanks Celestialarrow, I'll never wonder 'what if' again.
RIP Cordy.

I think you missed my point. I was trying to (very nicely) encourage you to use capital letters, commas, and complete sentences in order to more coherently get your ideas across. It's difficult to read and understand something that has none of the above without a lot of effort that most people (myself included) would not want to put in for something as trivial as a hypothetical rewrite of a season.
Hello Cutie

I agree with Blondie Bear... I have an eyesight problem where I find it hard to read text on a computer anyway (it's the pixels), so having to try and read through that post with no punctuation, capital letters, or even new lines or paragraphs is almost impossible.
It'd be better if you could re-write it with all those, because you're more likely to get people to read it.

you know what thanks for the sarcasm, but i didn't miss your point evidently i wasn't planning on writing it over for one after you log out as far as i know you can't edit. And i understand that everyone doesn't have the best eyesight. So instead of trying to read it and leaving comments than has nothing to do with the thread how about you dont(oh I'm not tying the be mean either). Cause it would seem to me that would be the most logical idea.

In defense of Blondie Bear, I think you're confusing constructive criticism with sarcasm. She was trying to make helpful suggestions as to how you could present your version of Angel's Season 5 in such a way as to make it more understandable. I don't think either malice or sarcasm were intended by anything that she said.
When you have been here awhile longer, you will find that very few, if any, of the members here will intentionally insult or belittle you or any comment or suggestion you might make. Until then, just try to be patient with us. There are quite a few really talented and very interesting people here who are well worth the effort of getting to know. If you can just have a little patience with us, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Rofl at this whole situation. Relax Celestialarrow, what White Avenger said is the truth, no one here is going to be rude to you for no reason. I think that Blondie Bear had a legitimate problem in reading the text - as did I. Anyway, I got thru it, nice version of season 5! I love Cordy. I'm watching s5 at the moment and I'm starting to find it really boring, which is wierd cuz I never used to?? I think its the whole lack of Cordyness.. lol (dont worry I am biased 2)
If I were to create an alternate s5, I'd have Cordelia die really early on in the season, say episode 3, after everything's all happy and werewolf girl has reconciled with her family. The next episode would be mainly about mourning Cordy, maybe even a funeral segment... Anyway, just in time for the 'Destiny' episode, I'd regain everyone's trust in the PTB, and have them actually make Cordy a higher power - for real this time. I'm not talking bobble-head Cordy who watches from the sky, I'm talking corporeal, teleporting Cordy - with a whole bunch of powers, who can come in and save the day when needed.
And yer, she'd explain to Angel about how he was still the man and the shanshu was supposed to be his etc. etc. and she'd help out the gang thru the season... There would be no such thing as the mexican mask man episode.. But I would keep the Illyria arc, and I think I'd bring in Lilah one last time... OOOh and in the episode 'The Girl in Question', Cordy would go with Angel and Spike to Rome, and she'd be dissin' Buffy dancing etc from far away lol...

Maybe my idea wasn't the best but if you read the thread it said here's my take on the season try coming up with your own.
Emm - why should I come up with my own?
I actually like Season 5 as it is and don't feel the need to force a Character in just to quench a need to see her.
This show wasn't about Cordelia and in fact the lack of Cordelia IN the season was more powerful for Angels progress that adding her would only diminish his struggle - so, No, I won't 'try coming up' with my own, but thanks for the option to do so!

I definitely don't agree with this.
We aren't going to change. We're not about to suddenly wake up and go 'ok, today I don't care about grammar, punctuation or spelling and I don't mind getting a headache reading what someone posts' so why should this poster have a little patience.
Surely it is a matter of board ettiquette that she takes time over her posts to make sure that they at least show the basics of being written well.
As long time posters on Buffy Boards, the one thing that we ALL come to expect is a certain level when it comes to the way things are written, so Celestialarrow, no one will stop you from posting BUT take care in what you write and that you take time in doing that because this community is quite an intelligent one, so appreciates an intelligent poster who writes intelligently.
Thanks

Yeah... that gave me a headache, trying to read it. Sorry. Grammar is important. Punctuation is really important. Not trying to be mean, but it's really not all that hard to do, you know? :)

The only person I was defending was Blondie Bear, because I thought that her comments had been misunderstood as being rude and insensitive toward a relative newcomer to the Board. I made no attempt to address anyone else's ill manners or belittling attitude.

Didn't say you did, I merely said I disagreed with your suggestion that Celestialarrow be patient with us.
Sorry if that wasn't clear to you, I mean should have been with the fact that I quoted that part and said 'I definitely don't agree with this'.
If you need in the future, i'll spell it out a bit clearer for you, though I'm not entirely sure how I can do that.

Your comment didn't offend me, again just merely pointing out where firstly I disagreed with you and secondly how you obviously misunderstood that, so I was letting you know that in future I will be as plain as I can be for you.
It isn't anything to be ashamed about, you know, not understanding something.

I'll have you know I am in London so you don't know how untrue that statement probably is.
11 people have been murdered here so far this year. The rate things are going we'll have beaten last years 'score' of 27 by early August.
So beware anyone from London, chances are they're packing.

I picked up on that and that was my reason for not writing it over. I get that everyone doesn't have the best vision so I presumed you not to read it. And on another note how can you possibly be frustrated with my apparent lack of your point I understood it very well as i put in my last post. Don't become frustrated or hot and bothered on my behalf because if I'm not mistaken this is the first thread I started that you had a problem intrepeting the topic. And as someone said i have a problem with constructive critism believe me I dont. After Blondie Bear told me her problem I attempted to clear things up in my second post. Yet she still had a problem so you know what too bad.

The first response from Blondie Bear was a constructive one.
It also has NOTHING to do with vision and more about the way your write up your thoughts.
There is just endless word after word without a moments thought for people who read these pages.
Blondie Bear BECAME frustrated when your response was 'basically season with cordy...yadda yadda...your thoughts'.
The reason she became frustrated was because you didn't clarify what you had said, you summarised, but that still didn't negate the reason for her initial post.
What is the point of coming to a place like this IF you aren't willing to try and make your posts coherent. Most of us forgive the occasional typo because that is normal, but when its a complete post that lacks any kind of punctuation, accurate spelling or even a basic grammatical stance it is REALLY frustrating.
Your views are ignored, your points are pointless and people generally think you're a little bit slow so stay away from your posts.
IF you want people to indulge you in debate, then you should TRY and put a little more thought in your posts.
Maybe you could start by redoing your first post again so people can and WILL read it.
Failing that, if you don't wish to make an effort, then seriously, what is the point of coming to a community that is based solely on reading what you have to say.

You tell me how do you go back in after you've logged out and edit a thread then
maybe I'll do it on my own time because last time I checked this was my thread. And yes I know you have the right to ask someone to write it over but you can't force them to. If she didn't like the way it was written or understood it why leave a post many people on this forum read a thread WITHOUT leaving a comment. And if you can't read it like I said before why try it's as simple as that. And your implying why should i come to this forum if I'm not making a effort to change a thread I started. Is rude never once have I ever told someone they shouldn't be on a forum because such reason I have a right to change it or not that's my right just like you all have the right to leave comments but you can't force me to that would be ruuuuuuuuuuuuude.

Well unlike you my memory isn't a little patchy I remember the threads I've started and the comments that were left. And like you said you didn't directly leave a comment before so why start now. If you created a post I could decipher i wouldn't read it nor would i try to if i couldn't. And after I left my second post you still had a problem I'm sorry but I'm not some child for you to order around when you get ready to I'm a person just like you. First of all, understand what you are talking about.
Referrals are the number of people who join this board citing you as the person who brought them, in that I REFERRED them to this site.
Secondly, this is NOT your thread, you just started it. As soon as it is opened, it belongs to the board thus anyone can comment on what is written.
Thirdly, I am 25, and I may be throwing insults around, but the point is people can read and understand them because they are coherent.
Fourth, I am well aware that we don't always get what we want in life, BUT ONE OF THE BOARD RULES is that we use correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and capital letters as that makes this community what it is.
You are obviously at a disadvantage because of your stupidity to write like this, so maybe you can send your comments to another member, they'll edit it for you and then you can at least appear to have some intelligence.
When it says 18 as your age, did you, perhaps, get that mixed up with your IQ?

@ celestialarrow - If you need any of your posts editing and you miss the time slot when you have access to the 'edit' button all you need to do is contact one of us staff members and we will happily oblige. However, you would do well to take more time before you submit a post, to make it more readable. We have many members who don't speak English as a first language and I suspect that they would struggle to understand you. Personally, if something is that difficult to read, I don't bother...you're going to lose your audience before you start :)
@ all of you - please heed VG's request. I will close the thread if it carries on with the pointless bickering
@ Al - I appreciate what you are trying to say but the bashing and use of 'stupid' and 'retard' aren't helping your case...please refrain from the DDLM-ing :)

Angel becomes a higher power, Connor realises his femininity and has a sex change, Cordelia returns from the dead and gets together with Gunn who then both kill Lorne for feeling up Fred, who then runs away with Wesley to Vegas to get married in a chapel of love, and the final ep is the marriage ceremony in which Elvis walks in having not been dead, just being held in deep freeze by Wolfram and Hart, and he marries them. The finale ends with Lindsay turning up and him & Elvis start a big singalong as the credits roll. :)
