"Conviction" only just aired Monday night here in Germany (don't ask me why it took them this long... well at least this meant that we didn't have to wait after Season Four, which also just finished airing for the first time here right before Easter. Kinda proves how lame German TV can be.) And yes, this means I may be one of the VEEEERRRRYYY few people on this board to actually risk being spoilered here. :)
I kinda liked it, it had a couple of cool moments - especially the arrival of "lawyered" Gunn, the short moment of loss of emotional facade for Harm when she hears about Cordys coma, and the both stunning and hilarious cliffhanger (Harm again steals the moment ^^ ).
I will, however, NEVER understand why they chose to put James Marsters into the opening credits for this episode. Sure, Spike's going to be a regular from now on - but putting him there right from 5.1 instead of beginning with 5.2 kind of ruins the effect of the last thirty seconds, doesn't it?
