I've had subscriptions for both "Buffy, Season 8" and "Angel-After The Fall" from TFAW ever since the first issues came out, and I haven't missed a single issue. My problem is, I don't get Season 12 until Season 13 has been released. Does anybody out there in Buffy Land know of anywhere that offers subscriptions that are on time?

This is a good question cause I've been considering getting a subscription, but I don't want to wait a year to get them. I also don't want the issue to arrive all crinkled up and junk. Any advice?

If you live close to the centre of a realise big town, I'd say the easiest thing to do is to go to a comic book store.

Usually I do that, but the comic book store in MY town is run by a really grumpy old man who's a bitca to deal with, the next closest one is 20 minutes away, and the NEXT closest one is an hour away. This didn't really start bothering me until gas hit $3.29 PER GALLON (GAH!) here, so I'm trying not to go anywhere, even to the 20-minute-away store, if I can help it.

I feel your pain with being all out-of-the-loop because of the chronic lateness of the TFAW subscription service, but I don't really know of any alternatives. Alas!

TFAW is the bane of my bloody existence! I'm still waiting for issue 12 and 5!! The comic book shop here doesn't have Buffy so TFAW it is. I think we just have to suffer on

Yeah, it's either that or pre-order each issue one at a time, and I'm just lazy enough to consider that a pain in the a**. It's just a toss up between laziness and impatience. (Either that, or I have to be at Barnes & Nobel when they get their few issues in, but there's that laziness problem again...)

Laziness is a big part of it but mostly I would be afraid I'd forget to order the issues and miss out on them altogether.
