There has been a couple of adverts for a new show with ASH starting either this week or next
did a search - it was on IMDB for some reason but I went on the BBC One website and found it - it looks quite good

I saw the trailer for this last night. It looks good...brilliant cast in addition to ASH. Incidentally, Emily Head, who plays his character's daughter is really his daughter :)

Well my Sister-in-law pulled through. Her being English and therefore in England and thus having access to the BBC and all she came through with the first episode of The Invisibles. Recorded it. Sent it us. I love her.
I just finished watching it- and it was brilliant. Whether ASH was in it or not, I would love it. It was very "New Tricks"y (Another British show I love) and there were some definite laugh out loud moments. And although ASH was back in his own regular accent, whenever his character was being condescending that upper-class accent slipped through ever so slightly. Haha.
There was one scene that really made me laugh when he was walking up the new apartment he (ASH's character Maurice) had bought and the guy tells him 'the elevator is wheelchair friendly' and Maurice frowns at him saying 'But I'm not in a a wheelchair' and the guy just replies 'Yeah, I know. But you know...if you ever are.' Haha.
So anyone else actually watch this show when it aired tonight? My question is obviously aimed at the British members of the board and anyone else who has insiders in the same way I do, haha.

I watched it, it was ok, differently not Anthony Head's best role though. I'll still probably keep watching it though XD

His best, IMO, is Giles obviously, haha but I did really like his role here. He was endearingly grumpy. And for me anything is better than Little Britain- I just don't GET that program! I don't get how it's funny....

Ofcourse his best role was as Giles =], but that could be because he had so much time to develop it.
And i like him better in Little Britain that in The Invisibles
My opinion of his roles:
Buffy > My Family > Doctor Who > Little Britain > The Invisible

See, I think he's good in Little Britain but I can't stand the show. (The humor just doesn't reach me at all I'm afraid :sigh:) Hence it's not my favorite of his roles.
My Family though I *have* to agree. For the mere fact it's My Family. He played Abby's Father didn't he...?
Doctor Who I can't comment on because I have never watched the show. (Please, Who Fans, do not beat me up for that, haha)
Sent my Mother the episode last night also (It's like a chain video, haha) as she is a mucho grando fan of Tony Head and demanded once my sister-in-law sent it that I send it her and she seemed to love it even more than I did. Like, while I enjoyed it, she loved it. I don't know whether this is an age thing or not, you know due to the context and content of the show. See, you're 18 Clem, right? I'm 27 and my Mother's 53. You weren't too keen, I enjoyed it, my Mother loved it. See where my theory is coming from? Haha.

Yeah he did, and that character was so different from his others and he still made it work =D
And that's a pretty good theory o_O
