I had a look around and I couldn't find a favourite season poll, so I decided to make one.

Mine are s2 and 3. I voted for s2 in the end, but I like them both around equally.

Does this thread fit here? Maybe 'Inside Out' would've been better...

Season five is my favourite - It's my favourite buffyverse season overall too.

Season 5, no contest!

To be honest, most Angel seasons had some long rough patches where they were just boring. Season 1 was pretty dull. Season 2 was decent until Darla showed up. Season 3 was great until Holtz came along. Season 4 was far too Connor-centric, and Evil Cordelia was the worst thing that ever happened to Angel.

Season 5 was never boring. Every episode was great(with the possible exception of The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco, which was just okay). Spike was a great addition to the cast. Also, it had a lot of the most memorable episodes (I loved A Hole In the World too much for my own good.) It was the only Angel season that I liked more than a few seasons of Buffy, and that's saying something.

Season 3 I liked Angel being a dad, until connor grew up into a little s**t. Also Holtz was a very good character and Season 3 had some good flash backs.

I would say that my favorite is Season 5 but Season 3 is a close second.

Big fan of Season Five. The arc, Spike... Illyria. I watch that season a lot.
After that prolly season one, then season two, four and three.

Season 3. The whole thing was great. And so many huge things happened that season. Fred, Darla, Connor, Cordelia, etc. Kinda hated the ending to that season though. o_O

For me it´s season 5 without a doubt. The only thing it didn´t have was Cordelia but since Spike and Harmony took her place (so to speak) it ended on the plusside. It contains many of my favourite episodes like Conviction ( I just love how they´re trying to adjust working at W&H), Harm´s way, You´re welcome, Smile time, A hole in the world, The girl in question and Not fade away. And even if I was sad to see Fred die, I just love the interaction between Spike and Illyria.

Season 5 had so many good stories going on. The introduction of Spike to the main cast, the Wes-Fred relationship, Illyria(even though it was sad to see Fred die), and the return of one of my favorite Angel baddies - Lindsey.

Season 4, episode-wise, just had too many misses than hits for me. While I loved the return of Faith and Willow's appearance in Orpheus(one of my fave overall episodes), it just wasn't enough for me to make-up for the rest of it. For me, Connor was annoying, Evil-Cordy just didn't work, the Connor-Cordy thing was just gross, and the character and story arc of Jasmine was anticlimactic.

I think you summed up how I felt about it too. And I agree about the evil Cordelia. I felt it was a terrible decision to make her evil, what were the writers thinking! I know she was pregnant at the time and obviously couldn't do much but did they really needed to make Charisma's character that bad.

Spike made season 5 enjoyable no contest and the chemistry between him and Angel made it even more better. I loved it.

It's a tie between Season 2 and 5, as I loved Darla's story line too. But I chose season 5 cause I loved the dynamics between Spike and Angel! :)

Order of seasons for me: Season 2, Season 3, Season 5, Season 4, Season 1.

I think all the seasons in my mind were A or A+ seasons however the season i say i enjoyed the most was season 4. The reason for this is because you didn't know what was happen till the end of the season. Plus angelus showing up and preforming better in season 4 than on buffy. Lastly i have to say is that season for was more in depth and intertwined than other seasons.

I've seen S4 and I have S5. S4 to me kicks total ass. It even beats a couple Buffy seasons. S5 was phenomenal starting at Smile Time, but before that it was just... blah. Life of the Party and a couple other episodes were great, but it just didn't measure up to S4 or ay Buffy seasons for that matter.

Season 5 was my favorite just because it went so many places character and story-wise. It was also a great way to wrap up the show, and really brought a lot home. I also think it was the season with the most diversity--it was heartbreaking, hilarious, dramatic, action-packed, and at times even scary. My second would be Season 4. It felt like a 22 hour movie and had a really epic feel.

The first four seasons put together don't have anything on season 5. I have said it before – probably too many times – but I'm gonna say it again: Angel season 5 is one of the best TV show seasons ever made imo. It's the only season that doesn't ever get boring. Pretty much everything in it works insanely great, mhm.

Seasons 1 and 2 the best, cant decide which should win. Some of the best Angel eps were in the first 2 seasons and i think every single character, from Angel and Cordy to Lindsey and lilah, Every character, was much better in seasons 1 n 2.

hmm everyone seems to hate season 4 and i dont see why although i have never read the comics myself i cant judge on season 5 but season 4 was the best for me mainly because so much angelus such a cool bad guy, also the fights vs the beast r just awesome faiths aperanances great, also gwen apearances omfg shes hot must be my favourite, although i have to admit WTF at the end episodes
season 3 is also great i loved the cordeilia angel thing and wesly storyline ive neverbeen a big fan of connor but the storyline was great with darla etc 2nd favourite, but i have to say the ending was a massive let down,
season 1 is a good season but at first i could get into it had some great episodes especially with faith, although not a great ending imo was the best ending charcter depth wasnt quite there though
season 2 for me was the worse pylia thing wat a crap ending and they cut the reaciton to buffys death, wat was the point in having willow there, evil ish angel was great his vendetta against wolfram and hart but thats about it for me, actually im gonna put season 2 ahead of season 1
"edit" i actually forgot season 5 wasnt the comic book season LOL great season some weird twists not many episodes stood out though although the ending was by far the best ending ever freds death welseys death etc brilliant although at times was a bit strange lindsays reaperance capped it and the fight with eachother great

5-I loved the episode Life Of The Party. There should have been more Lorne-centric episodes.

I love season two mostly just for the last 4 episode. I'm a major Fred fan (as is noticable as I hav ebeen known as fred by all of my friends since I was 12) and I loved the whole Pylea thing as her introduction as a character was just beautiful. Also, it had Numfar doing the 'dance of joy'...priceless.
I also really loved the Lindsey arc, I always thought his character was really interesting and his send off was just hillarious (with the sign angel puts on his car XD)
Season three is deffinately my second favorite season. Although the second half of the season got a little dull. Fredless is my favorite Angel episode. Also, such episodes as Billy, Heartthrob, Waiting in the Wings, Double Or Nothing and That Old Gang Of Mine I thought were just awesome.
Obviously, everyone loves season 5. It was amazing. Smile time was deffinetly one of the funniest episodes Joss has ever done of anything...it was also rather creepy. Hell Bound was also so amazing. I remember it really creeped my sister out when it first aired (my sister is two years older than me making her 15 when she first saw it lol)
Season 1 was cool because it was the begining and Doyle was such an amazing character. It was really sad when he left but I think in the long run it was for the best.
Season 4 was my least favorite season for most of the reasons people have stated.

Season 4 has quite a few good episodes though so thats not too far behind.
