Any conventions this summer..?

Okay, my Mum and Dad promised me that during the summer holidays we could go to a Buffy convention, so we've spend hours scouring the net, but we can't find any. Does anyone know if there are going to be any Buffy/Angel fan conventions in the UK preferably in July or August? I've checked out all the sites I know, but none of 'em show any...I guess that means there aren't any, but I thought you guys might know...So, uh, yeah, if you know of any, please tell me :D

Erm not buffy/angel conventions as such but keep checking this website Collectormania Milton Keynes (http://www.collectormania.com/) they have a few locations around the U.K and generally their at least 1 or 2 buffy/angel/firefly guys siging autographs plus theirs shops packed with buffy and angel products. Hope this helps.

I think you will struggle to find a dedicated Buffy/Angel convention nowadays espically in England.

The Conventions I attend ran their last Buffy/Angel convention in February, and their last Serenity convention a few weeks ago, and they don't have any plans to hold anymore.

I think you need to hold out hope for a Dollhouse Convention sometime in the future!

I'm in England in July and was really hoping there would be a good convention for me to go... but nothing so far it appears... if anyone does happen to know of something I would love to be made aware!

I'll keep my eyes out for you. I get some sc-fi mags and theres normally adverts for them in the mag.

Collectormania Milton Keynes (http://www.collectormania.com/) Right guys its not a Buffy convention but James Marsters is going to Milton Keynes. Which sadly I cannot attend I missed him at manchester last year I was gutted.

I wish I lived in England... and was able to attend a convention, there. :) I assumed the conventions (which I have never seen the glory of) were over, and was hopeful because of the thread. Ah, well... I hear there are Star Trek ones still happening. ;) I would enjoy that spectacle!

Yeah Collectormania is definitely your best bet. Buffy/Angel specific cons just aren't around anymore
I know Nicholas Brendon is going to Collectormania Glasgow and that's 23/24 August if that helps???

I went to the Manchester one last year and met JM. He was sooo nice.

I go almost every year, it's kinda small in terms of signings but sometimes so good people turn up...It's where I met Eliza Dushku.

It's a good shopping trip though.
