Rat spell

hello every one this is my first post so sorry if i do it wrong ..
but to every one out there can some one ancer me why in the episode where zander gets amy to cast a love spell ... sorry i forgot the name of the episode. any way in that when amy turns buffy in to a rat giles preparts some spell and turner her back with in a few minits BUT when amy turns her self in to a rat later on in a diferent episoed it takes willow a supper witch years to figger out how to turn her back.... can some one explain this to me ?

Willow did try, and I believe it was the same spell Giles used. I don't think we can be sure why none of Willow's attempts worked.

Willow did know how to change Amy back from being a rat. If she'd been looking the other way she'd have known it.

On another subject should Amy and Angel got together? Angel had been called the rat boy and Amy was a rat girl!
Same could be said about Buffy as well.

oo yea ILLYRIAN i forgot that episode thanx and i dont think amy and angle geting together would have been good becuse amy was a rat angle ate rats not a good combonation if u ask me ..

i guess it could have had to do with Amy changing herself. Alot of Magic has to do with the persons will (hence Seeing Blue in Season 4) and possibly the reason Willow couldn't change her back was because the will of Amy was not allowing her too. Amy was a more powerful witch than Willow, all the way up till season 5 and I think that's why Willow couldn't do it. Giles had been around the block a few times with Magic so he knew what was going on. Plus the spell he used was to reverse all of the Amy's spells. He needed a possession of hers. I don't know if willow could have gotten a possession of Amy's in order to reverse Amy's spells. I guess rat hair maybe, but eh, rat hair prolly has a different effect than human hair.

Also Amy turned herself into a rat in season 3, not sure if this is where this thread should be.

True, but the question started with "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered," which is in S2, so I can see putting it here.
