Alright I read some where that Joss usually gives hints to upcoming plots and events that will take place but in earlier seasons. I was wondering if you all remember specific instances where this occured. I mean besides dawn, does anyone know anymore. Because in "Offspring" Gunn mentions Darla could give birth to some kind of ubervamp which interestingly enough appeared in buffy season 7. Also in the episode "Billy" season 3 Cordy told Angel oneday she might have to fight him and in season 4 they were suppose to fight but due to the pregnancy it was changed. So anyone know anymore besides the one's I've mentioned.

In season 4 when tara says "Be home before dawn" in one of Buffy's dreams, before dawn has even come on to the show

In 'Restless' during Xander's dream, he sees Spike and Giles on the swings, and Spike's wearing that ugly brown suit...it shows up again in 'Tebula Rasa'.

Also during Xander's dream in that ep, someone mentions something about a shark, and being on land or something, can't remember off the top of my head. Anyway, the 'loan shark' shows up, again, in 'Tebula Rasa', which is a shark on land.

Buffy's death in 'the Girft' was foretold in 'Graduation Day PT 2' Faith says "Little Miss Muffet, counting down from 7-3-0" Which is the number of days in 2 years.

During the S4 episode where Willow and Tara try to do a spell to locate all the demon's in Sunnydale, Tara deliberatly wrecks the spell. It two a whole season before we learned that Tara did that because she thought SHE was a demon, and she didn't want Willow finding out.

i think in "I Only Have Eyes For You" there was foreshadowing. “I just want you to have a normal life, we can never have that, don’t you see?” thats wha Angel says when posessed by Grace and is the reason why he and buffy split in season 3.

I duno if this is a forshadowing thing but Xander says "...you dont have to drive it through my head like a railroad spike"
in Witch season 1. Maybe the writters just liked the idea and used it again when Spike joined the crew. :p
