I love Glory has a big bad but the final episode was a bit of a let down as far as buffy defeating her! I mean my interpretation was that buffy just kicked the hell out of her and glory got tired and weak by it and dissapeared and turned back into Ben, I know giles kills Ben so Glory cannot come back, but I thought Ben was just someone she used to stay on earth. She didnt actually die die? She could be out there somewhere still!

Does anyone else see where I am coming from? How do you see her as being defeated?

Glory was trapped on earth in a body of a human...Ben. So technically, you kill the vessel and you kill the god. I don't see how she could come back.

The General of the Knights of Byzantium (?) said that Glory was "trapped inside a human vessel" or something like that, but I got the impression that Glory had been banished from her own dimension for thousands of years, something like Illyria in Angel Season 5, so how has she been in Ben for all of that time? Was Ben immortal? Obviously not, because Giles killed him. Does Glory transfer into another body when her current host dies? If so, she's still lurking around out there somewhere, just waiting to reassert herself.

Thousands of years in their dimensions time, 25 years our time.
Ben was Glory's human embodiment, Glory was sent to earth and was trapped inside Ben, being in her dimension she could get out so in theory, even though Ben has been killed in this dimension Glorificus could still be here, so if some one to put her essence into another human body!.
And if you don't believe me some one called Illyrian put in his fanfic TNAI CH 13 Battle for Arilily.

I do like where you're going with what you're saying, but I agree with LMLTF - She was placed in a human body, so once the human body dies, so does she. I guess it's similar to a ball of energy being immortal, but once it becomes a human life it is mortal. Giles is the smartypants of the group and I think this is what he would have been thinking of when he killed Ben.

she could come back if Buffy had a vision of the future, ran away and never jumped into the portal!
