Fool For Love...Spike's history,his most crucial fights along with the non flashback part..it gets to you,closely followed by Angel's flashbacks in Five by Five which are really touching imo...

Hm, how about 'like 'em all'? Not a choice? *sigh* well, 'Darla' was a pretty great episode. The best about this was how we got to see familiar scenes from another point of view.

Darla - has some awesome flashbacks, particularly the power-shot of the four vampires in China
The Prodigal - Seeing Angelus rise from the grave, kill his family and the music in that ep is just spinetingling
Are You Now or have You Ever Been - i love this ep
The Girl in Question - purely becuase it shows us Angel and Spike being friends.
The Quickening - When Darla rescues Angelus from Holz, it's very romantic and adventurous
Five by Five - all the pre and post curse stuff

I could go on....i love all the flashbacks.

of the ones mentioned so far, ive got to go with the crossover between 'fool for love' and 'darla'. it was just cool how they did that, connecting them, and seeing what both spike and angel were doing at the same time. i love watching the episodes back-to-back. i especially like the cross with dru siring spike. in angel you just see the three talking and then spike bumbling by, and in buffy you see spike going by, and you see him get sired after that. that one was awesome.

i may come post again when i can remember more of the flashbacks in the shows :D.

Good goddess! I don't know if I can choose just one! I always enjoyed the flashback eppys - I would have liked to seen an entire season of JUST those -that would've been cool.

But if I HAVE to choose a fav, I'd go with The Girl in Question.... Spike's line- not what he said but how he said it... "Son of a bitch!" when he found out Darla wasn't the only one diddled by The Immortal.... heh! I laughed for DAYS about that! In fact, just thinking about it makes me LOL right now!

It's either gotta be the Fanged Four power shot in Darla/FFL or Fanged Four in The Girl In Question. Honestly, I love all the Fanged Four episodes. Hm this thread reminds me to check out that timeline of the Fanged Four that I saw on youtube. Been holding that off until I finished both Buffy and Angel.

Edit: I just found it again on youtube and Tranquility, is that your montage? Are you Tranquility71 on youtube? I don't know if it's you, but it sure is a crazy random happenstance.

I like the flash back in Darla because it's interesting how the same flashback was used in an episode of Buffy but from a different point of view. I thought it was cool how it put a different spin on the flashback and how they both went side by side.
