Online Video of Astonishing X Men # 1

This is definitely worth a peak. Marvel is promoting the finale to Whedon and Cassady's X Men run, so the've put together a multimedia video of # 1. It's not a bad way to see a comic.

That's good stuff. Thought I'd read that that's actually the kind of thing Marvel put on TV, back in the 60s...actual panels from the comics, sort of animated, with voiceovers. Called them cartoons, lol.

Emma and Logan could have had better voice actors, others pretty good.

I'd love to see Buffy 8, #1 done that way. Get on that Dark Horse!

2 thumbs up for Buffy # 1 as multi media. Or how about Sugar Shock? Or can you imagine if the real actors did the voices for Buffy 8?

I haven't read the Astonishing X Men series, but I liked what I saw there. I liked the young girl, Emma.

You can really hear the "Whedon-isms" in the writing when people voice them out loud.

I love it! I don't usually read X-Men comics, although I am very familiar with them, and this makes me want to read more. I can definitely see the Whedon-isms as well, especially in Kitty's dialog. She definitely reminds me of Buffy (I could totally see the Buffster saying "I'm getting cloud hair.")
