Angel vs. Buffy

I'm meaning tis 2 different ways:
1. Which character would win in a fight. (Becoming Pt. 2 doesn't count. That was Angelus)
2. Which TV show is better. (I realize that this has probably been done before, but I wasn't here when it happened, so...)

1. Buffy would kick his ass. ;)
2. I think Buffy is BY FAR better. How ever, you have to take into account that I've only watched 12 episodes of S4 of Angel and I don't really know any of the back story... So, back on topic, the main reason why I like Buffy better is because it's just a tinge less darker than Angel. Angel just seems so dull, and... idk, boring. Although it isn't... Know what I mean? Besides, I really don't like the character of Angel anyway, he's way to broody for me, why can't he just be normal? And another reason is that the comedy on Angel just doesn't come across as funny very often... Lorne is a wonderful Xander exception (I just love this guy. My fav. Angel character), but Angel trying to pun like Buffy just doesn't work...

So? Your opinions please?

Buffy would beat Angel in a fight.

Buffys a better show too, but that dosnt mean Angel isnt an exellent show.
But when you compare characters, big bads,storys, top episodes, Btvs wins them all.
plus it didnt have conner.

I rated the 4 strongest fighters in another thread, and at that time, my choice was Buffy, then Spike, then Angel, and finally Faith. In an all out fight, Buffy would beat Angel. She is faster, has better technique, and by Angel's own admission, is stronger than him, all of which add up to Buffy walking sadly away from a fresh pile of dust that used to be her first lover.

1.I don't think anyone would win this fight. Seriously, could you imagine Buffy staking Angel? Or Angel (and not Angelus) wanting to kill Buffy? They both wouldn't get it done.
2.Angel, but only slightly. It's just the fact that most of my favourite characters wound up there in the end (except Anya). This doesn't mean I don't like Buffy, because I do. And in general, I count B&A as one show anyway and rather have preferences in seasons. Like s2 and 23 of both shows are my favourites.

Faith wouldn't be as good as Spike, because, despite being a Slayer, she is relatively inexperienced, spending most of her time in prison. She and Angel would be on about the same level, and it would be a real close contest, but I think Angel would win.

I was really just going on the basis that Faith beat Angel(Revelations) and spike beat Angel.
But id say they are all even and the winner would be whoever was best on the day.
I could see them all beating each other.
But buffys def the best fighter

1. Buffy of COURSE. nobody can beat her:D
2. "Buffy" for sure. I never liked "angel" even half as much as I did "Buffy." It has better plot, and I can understand it better since it focuses more on teens and not on adults
