You don't know what The Watcher's Guides are? The three books? Tried googling...? Hehe. They're everywhere. They are essentially just episode guides for BtVS but with inventive extras and lots of cast and crew interviews which are really cool.

The Watcher's Guide Vol 1 covers Slayer and Watcher lore, demon lore, vampires, character profiles, cast and crew interviews and info, and seasons one to two. Also the music of the seasons

The Watcher's Guide Vol 2 covers more BtVS lore, more character profiles, more cast and crew interviews, photos and episode guides for seasons three and four.

The Watcher's Guide Vol 3 includes the same type of material but details seasons 5 to 7.

I really love these books. Not that Iīve read every page just yet but itīs nice from time to time just to pick it up and read more about a special episode. And as Joyce said, it has lots of other things as well. One of the best buys Iīve ever done. Bought all three books together in a box.

Ooh Kinslayer- I saw the pretty box collection of all three books and really wanted, but I'd already bought all three separately. :sigh:.
They are a really good, and fun, read though.

They are a fun read. I remember that I just had to have them when they first came out!

I haven't looked at them in a while, they're all packed up with my other Buffy books, I do definitely remember them.

I just loved all the extra stuff that was in the books. Thinks like, lore, continuity, trivia, and all that jazz.

Yeah, they're really interesting books, and I'm glad I bought them (and only Ģ10 for all three! Bargain!).

The Monster Book is another good one. I think it only goes through season 4, if I remember correctly. I haven't looked at it in awhile. It catalogs all of the villians and has some interesting background information on the real mythology behind all things that go bump in the night in Sunnydale.

Yeah, it "only" goes through sesaon 4. I havnīt read much of it yet but it seems great And itīs not only villains in it. Thereīs a section called "Magic user" which includes Willow, Giles and Tara.

I also have "Sunnydale High yearbook", and since it is the only yearbook Iīll ever have Iīll treasure it forever. ;) Itīs a "fun" book plain and simple, donīt expect a lot of information and deep analysis.

I wish there was a more comprehensive Monster Book. Like a set that spans both Buffy and Angel.

I bought the 1st watchers guide yesterday for 80p. I wouldn't have bought it full price though, there are better unofficial books.

I love the Watcher's Guide books, although I've only read the second volume. I like reading the characters' and cast's biographies & episode analyses.

I got all three in the box for Ģ10 too, and for that price they were more than worth it.

Well, Willow's Demon Database does cover all 7 seasons of Buffy and is on the DVDs (Season 7 disc 1 to be precise).

Not a whole lot on Angel is available though.
