Okay, I just finished another season! Also, add your favorite quotes here too.

Funniest: Triangle (there weren't very many funny episodes in this season...)
Scariest: Listening to Fear (or maybe The Gift, there weren't many scary episodes either...)
Saddest: The Body (I know it's either gonna be this or The Gift)
Favorite: Spiral

Quotes:
Willow: I wish Buffy was here.
Buffy: I'm here.
Willow: O wish I has a million dollars... Just checkin'

Anya's speech about death.

There's more, but I can't remember them right now... :(

Funniest: Hmm...I enjoyed Buffy vs Dracula for funny, because it had a lot of great humorous quotes that are often overlooked. Triangle was also good for the laughs. As was Intervention in all the Buffybot scenes.
Scariest: None really scared me, scared me in this season. There were no Gentlemen equivalents here

Saddest: The Body or Listening to Fear. The Body for reasons everyone on here has already say a million times on other threads and Listening to Fear because of the way they wrote how the tumor was effecting Joyce; it brings me to tears. I've been through this with a family member before and those mood switches they have and are sometimes unaware of just breaks your heart because you don't want them going through that. You just want it to stop and for them to be the person they were before. And it breaks my heart here. I mean so many times they wrote Joyce acting very child-like- for example when she wants to go home from the hospital and she's saying 'Tell him Buffy, tell him. Tell him'- and completely dependent on Buffy for well, survival (especially when considering the Queller demon) and when an adult you have depended on yourself becomes like this, even if temporarily, it just, it tears you apart inside. It's not right and you wish you could make it stop for them and for you. So yes, because of my own experience, that episode touched a lot of feelings in me, personally and so I find it to be one of the saddest episode of the season.

Favorite: Blood Ties and Checkpoint. I also enjoy Buffy vs Dracula though.

Quotes:
Joyce: [About Dracula] He seemed so nice and normal....a little pale.
Willow: A good Sunnydale rule of thumb? Avoid white skinned men wearing capes.
[And the scene continued from the script but cut for the final editing of the episode]
Joyce: I didn't! He was in a suit. A lovely suit.....He came by the gallery and he was amazingly well informed about Art History--
Tara: Probably because he was around for most of it
Joyce: I want you both to know I am not like this. I don't invite strange men over for coffee. It's just it's been way too long [The girls look at her and she panics at what they're thinking] Since I met anybody I mean! Anybody remotely interesting....

Riley: I've lived in Sunnydale a long time , know what I've never noticed before?
Giles: A castle?
Riley: A big honkin' castle.

Buffy: I am not having sex with Spike, but I'm beginning to think you might be!

Dawn: I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut it's feet off right?
Buffy: [At Joyce's look] Hey, you were the one who insisted on teaching her to talk

Joyce: Dawn...she's...she's not mine is she?
Buffy:...No.
Joyce: She does...she does belong to us though? And she's precious. To the world. As precious as you are to me.

And aaaaalll of Buffy's speeches in The Gift. That is the one in the Magic Box about what Dawn means to her and then her final one. I'm not gonna write all that out though, haha

Funniest. Buffy v Dracula, Xander was on top form here. ''Vun, two, three victims mwa ha ha ha'' or ''...the dark master....bater'' or ''im finished being everybodys butt monkey''

Scariest. none

Saddest. The gift. I know some people wanted this to be the last episode but thats just to sad a way to end an inspirational story.

Favorite. put simply, it HAS to be fool for love.

I also loved the last 5 episodes, intervention to the gift. I think thats the only time the last 5 in a row have been dedicated to the main arc.
(but did anyone else think the Knights of Benyzabnjcvjcjsdjfh were just stupid?)

Funniest: "Triangle" & "Buffy Vs. Dracula"
Saddest: "The Gift" Seeing Everybody Looking and Crying At Buffys Body At The End Makes Me Cry
Scariest: "Listening To Fear", Seeing Joyce Slightly Crazy Freaked Me Out!
Favourite: Triangle

Funniest: Buffy vs Dracula (Xander has great lines and I love all of their poking fun at the dark prince)
Saddest: The Body and The Gift of course
Scariest: Listening To Fear (that Queller demon is icky)
Favorites: Buffy vs Dracula and Fool For Love (i love Spike episodes and Dracula)

Funniest: Triangle, parts of Buffy vs. Dracula

Scariest: Listening to Fear...the Queller gets me every time!

Saddest: Forever hands down. The emotions conveyed throughout the episode are intense, and particularly at the end in the exchange between Buffy and Dawn, the reactions aren't acted...they're real. It's amazing how well Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg react to each other and how well they can convey that helpless grief. I did cry in this episode.

Favorite: The Gift, Blood Ties, Fool for Love. The Gift was and still is one of my favorite "Buffy" episodes. The story line leading up to it was begun early and passed along very well. A big thing for me is emotion and this episode had a ton of it. Buffy's sacrafice was done well, and her battle with Glory was very good. And I have to say, thank god Tara was saved because I was so mad!! One of my favorite parts was when Spike promised Buffy he'd watch over Dawn until the end of the world. Blood Ties was all about family, and helped me accept Dawn into the "Buffy" family. Up until then it had not clicked for me. Willow shows her power, Buffy dives in front of the crowbar and Dawn shows some use (finally). Fool for Love is on my favorites because of the Buffy/Spike storyline where Buffy becomes obsessed with trying to find out how he killed the previous Slayers. The drama and backstory of that was intense and kept me definitly hooked. Spike was merciless in his "training" of Buffy, which was a grea move by writers.

Quotes...my weakness lies in Buffy puns and Willow statements!

Dracula: Do you know why you cannot resist?
Buffy: 'Cause you're famous?

Buffy: Are you okay? Did she hurt you?
Dawn: Why do you care?
Buffy: Because I love you. You're my sister.
Dawn: No I'm not.
Buffy: Yes you are. Look, it's blood. It's Summers blood. It's just like mine. It doesn't matter where you came from, or-or how you got here. You are my sister. There's no way you could annoy me so much if you weren't.

BUFFY: And I'm trying. Dawn, I am, I am really trying to take care of things, but I don't even know what I'm doing. Mom always knew.
DAWN: Nobody's asking you to be Mom.
BUFFY: Well, who's gonna be if I'm not? Huh, Dawn? Have you even thought about that? Who's gonna make things better? (crying harder) Who's gonna take care of us?
DAWN: Buffy...
BUFFY: I didn't mean to push you away, I didn't. I just, I couldn't let you see me. Oh god, Dawnie...I don't know what we're gonna do. I'm scared.
DAWN: Buffy...

Anya: The Dagon Sphere.
Giles: Sorry?
Anya: When Buffy first met Glory she found that magical, glowy sphere that was meant to repel Glory. We've got it in the basement. It might drive her away or hurt her. Oh.
[motioning to a large hammer]
Anya: And Olaf the troll god's enchanted hammer. You want to fight a god, use the weapon of a god.
Spike: Nah, that thing's too heavy to...
[Buffy easily picks up the hammer]
Spike: Yeah, good.
Buffy: I like this. Thanks.
Anya: Here to help. Wanna live

Xander: Smart chicks are so hot.
Willow: You couldn't have figured that out in tenth grade?

Buffy: We're not all gonna make it. You know that.
Spike: Yeah. Hey, always knew I'd go down fightin'.
Buffy: I'm counting on you... to protect her.
Spike: Till the end of the world. Even if that happens to be tonight

Tara: I got so lost.
Willow: I found you. I will always find you

Funniest: Triangle. Episode full of funny quotes! Next will be Intervention, Real me and Crush.
Saddest: Defintely The Body. The saddest Buffy episode ever.
Scariest: Listening to Fear. That monster from space was frightening for me.
Favourite: Hard choice again since it's one of my favourites seasons. Hmm,the best of the best are Real Me, Family, Fool For Love, Triangle, Spiral, The Gift

Quotes:
BUFFYBOT: How is your money?
ANYA: Fine. Thank you for asking.

WILLOW: I'm not stealing. I-I'm just taking things without paying for them. In what twisted dictionary is that stealing?

WILLOW: You don't know how to drive? Why didn't you say you don't know how to drive?
ANYA: Well, I couldn't know if I could until I tried, could I?

XANDER: But I never help. I get in trouble and Buffy saves me.
WILLOW: That's not true! Sometimes we all helped save you. And sometimes you're not in trouble.

Funniest:Checkpoint and Intervention have some funny moments, I love season five but, for me, it is the most un-funny season of all
Scariest:not really scary, but in No Place Like Home, Dawn is real creepy when she says "Want tea, mom? I made it for you." - when we're supposed to think she's some evil entity or something.
Saddest: The Gift
Favourite: Fool for Love (#1 episode ever for me) and The Gift

Funniest: Triangle. Spike cracks me up so bad in that episode. "They have this onion thing..." And trying to hold onto Buffy as she's trying to get up. Buffy vs. Dracula has some awesome lines too.
Scariest: Listening to Fear. This is actually my least favorite episode of Buffy because I think the alien/demon is totally gross looking and it disturbs me to no end to see Joyce acting crazy. The end of Forever is also a little scary. More heartbreaking than scary, but still.
Saddest: The Body. No contest.
Favorite: The Gift, Fool for Love, Checkpoint, Intervention

Hmm for me Funniest out of them all was Triangle, but as it was said before season 5 didnt have too many funny episodes, checkpoint did have its moments though.
Saddest: The Body / The Gift - I cry everytime I see the body for obvious reasons, everything about that episode is just so heartbreaking.
The Gift - The music at the end, Buffy's voice - over, her speech and all the Scoobies breaking down when they see Buffy's body gets me everytime.
Scariest: again with the majority, it had to be Listening to Fear, the whole alien thing was quiet creepy, especially when it's on the ceiling and Joyce is commenting: ' Stop staring at me' .. gives me the wiggins.
Favorite: The Gift, Bloodties, Checkpoint, Buffy Vs Dracula.

Funniest: Triangle, realli couldnt stop laughing at this episode

Saddest: My saddest episode was deffinately the body, althought teh gift was sad when buffy died i just thought that the body was the best piece of drama i had ever seen and alwasy cry at this episode without fail.

Favourite: the replacement (two xanders- whats not to love)

Scariest: i dont really think any of season 5 was particularly scary, but i could say the the episoe family was scary due to the fact that i thought tara was gonna be taken away by her family and then wouldnt come back.

Funniest: I'd actually have to say Intervention
Scariest: Listening to Fear
Saddest: I still bawl my eyes out for The Gift, even though I know she comes back... the dialog before she jumps is just too much, I bawl like a baby every time.

I'm actually in the process of re-watching the whole season with my brother. I've introduced him to Buffy recently and got him hooked. :)

Scariest - Definitely Listening to Fear. That one freaked me out the first time I saw it, and it still freaks me out.

Funniest - Hmm, Intervention, or Buffy vs. Dracula. I love everyone's reaction when they find out it's Dracula, that on its own is hilarious. As it's been said, not too many knee-slappers in this season. Lots of laugh-worthy moments (BuffyBot, Harmony's gang, Anyaness, etc) but as for entire funny episodes, not so much.

Saddest - The Body (I'm not a fan of Joyce's, but this episode gets me teary-eyed every time) or The Gift, both for obvious reasons.

Favorite - Hmm. I might have to think about this some more, but for now I'll say Spiral.
