This is the name of a book written by Bell Bacon in 1921. It's about a little girl growing up in the 1860's whose only playmates are her dolls. The similarity just struck me as sorta funny. I wonder if Joss or one of the writers read the book as a kid?

Probably, i could see this happening. Joss probably gets alot of his ideas from things he's seen and read
