Here's a link to Ash's interview with Jonathon Ross.

Part 1 (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=76tzJP4ER2c)

Part 2 (http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=sho6coy2FG4&watch_response)

Edit:

Just watched the video myself...loving the Buffy clip the showed (gives the impression that they really thought about what they wanted to show) and especially loving the audiences reaction. Buffy still has the magic (as if there was any doubt!).

Jonathan Ross has to be the best at interviews ive seen. Tony head seems very down to earth in real life. Funny on little britain too.

I am watching it now and it's cracking me up (which actually hurts a bit, considering I'm nursing a warm mug of chicken broth and a sore throat). I like the host. He's very funny. The guests and hosts are all funny, too. I love how the host makes him laugh. Gosh, I think I like him even more after seeing him on this.

"Well-preserved," indeed! lol.

Seriously, though, having seen him in this, I have no doubt that he could do a convincing Ripper. As my sister said when she saw OMWF right after Passions, "Gosh, he aged well." He still looks very Gilesy. I think that's a better idea than trying to do the Spike show that keeps being mentioned. Giles has more leeway for age than does an immortal vampire.

Thanks for posting this. ^.^ Yay, Anthony rocks. He was on All Star Mr And Mrs last week as well, he seems to be on a lot now with his new show and stuff lol. Wow, one fan of Buffy was there, go them :p Anyway, cool interview :D

Joanthon Ross is pretty much one of the best hosts out there. I'm fairly sure his interview with SMG is still up on YouTube.

Also, ASH is far more Ripper than he is Giles isn't he? and I actually think he looks better now than he did in the coffee ads. His face was gaunt or something? Definitely aged well:D

Ooh, mentioned in the title! Thanks so much for the link Kean!

I love Jonathon Ross- he's such an excellent interviewer-host-person. Whenever I've come across any of his shows, he's always had me in stitches. And this was no exception.

I absolutely loved his comparison of Tony to cat nip as regards to women. 'Just find themselves rubbing up against you'. Haha. But I have to agree with Tony that was a really bizarre clip of Buffy to show. I was betting on it being from Passion or OMWF but no, Fear Itself and not even the chainsaw or Mexican bit.

And I agree with what Keanoite said about him looking better than he did in Taster's Choice. Now!Tony looking muuuuuuch better. And I've been watching The Invisibles through the wonders of emailing my sister-in-law. It's an excellent show. I'm already addicted.

And I love his real accent, more than his Giles one funnily enough. And anyone else think he's got a real contagious laugh?!

Thanks again for the link, Kean; you're a doll! ;) Much appreciated.

I actually thought the clip chosen was done so for a very clear purpose, to get people's attention. Ross has been a real champion of Buffy and talks it up any chance he gets. So often on chat shows when clips are shown they are totally insignificant and don't display much of anything. This clip, I think, was genius. It showed Buffy as what it really was, a genre show with more depth than the grand canyon. In an audience consisting of one Buffy fan that clip mananged to get the whole place laughing. Ya really gotta love Ross!

Yeah, I appreciate that. I know Jonathon is a Buffy fan and definitely saw this as an opportunity for some Buffy pimpage (I was so shocked that there was like almost no fans in the audience. Anthony looked a little surprised himself) but that didn't occur to me before he showed the clip so I was fully expecting something Gilesy.

But I think that clip definitely drew a lot of people in. They all burst out laughing after all. It was so strange seeing so many people watching that clip for what was most likely the first time ever.

^^ Yeah, it was a funny clip. I think it was to show the audience how great Buffy is. To have shown one of Giles' best scenes out of context wouldn't have been as powerful since the emotional parts of the show are so dependent upon being familiar with the characters and the plot.

I couldn't believe there was only one Buffy fan, either. I thought we were more numerous than that!

I know I was expecting this big cheer for Buffy but instead it was more like this one person hiding in the corner afraif to admit it

Anbody else get a great sense of satisfaction when they all made with the hearty laughter?

Heck yeah! It was the same glorious feeling of satisfaction I get when one of my friends, an adament I-Don't-Watch-Buffy-er, finds herself enjoying an episode. She once laughed at John Ritter's line 'You killed me. Do we have something to say about that? Are we sorry?' in Ted and I was like 'AHA! You laughed! You like the show!'. Admittedly I was seventeen at the time- I have of course matured since then. Obviously. Honest....

But I had that same reaction to all of those Buffy Ignorant People laughing.
