What Spin-off would you choose?

If you could choose what Joss Wheadons next TV show(like a new buffy spin-off)
should be, what would it be?

some of the best ones id like too see would be Faith, Fray, or maybe something like 'the history of slayers/vampires'.
Something about Gunn the vampire would be amazing too.

also 'Buffy-the lost storys' would be good, like just 22 episodes spanning the 8 seasons of buffy, meaning there would be 3 or 4 eps for each of the buffy seasons. and it would just be extra storys that happened throughout.

My choice though would be Fray or Faith. ive never read Fray but it sounds like a good concept and i think on TV it could be like the new Buffy.

I'd want a whole show based on Giles, not just the mini movie he's getting.

I like that Buffy lost stories idea though, i think thats sort of neat. be fun to see the gang trying to dress again like they did in season 1 haha.

Well, obviously, I'd like to see a full length movie starring Buffy and the whole gang, but since that's impossible, I think a Spike/Faith team up (maybe with Illyria tossed in just to make things interesting. Even better a trilogy, with the first movie featuring Buffy characters (Spike & Faith), the second featuring Angel characters (Connor and Gwen), then both couples in the conclusion.

I'm still for Connor and Dawn....with Dawn being part Watcher part Witch and them with an amusing Spuffy type love/hate thing and debating who "Shouldn't Exist" more.
Makes for lots of cross overs and people just showing up and yet, could nicely handle itself for many, many moons.

I'd love a show that went into peoples past. I've always wanted to know about what things were like in their pasts. Especially the whole Ceicily/Halfrek and Spike deal. It would be cool. Or, better yet, a spin-off about Dark Willow...that would probably never happen, though.

I loved the idea for the Spike movie they were thinking of making. It was going to star Spike, Illyria, and Willow, which, coincidentally, are my three favorite characters.

If that wasn't an option, though, I'd go with a spinoff about Willow post-season 7. In Angel season 5 and Buffy season 8, they talk about all of her mystical walkabouts and such, and I'd love to see them show her witchy travels in depth.

Personally, I would like an official movie (or trilogy) about Buffy/Angel. They could have like EVERYONE team up. (oh, and Cordy would have to be resurrected somehow).

There are so many possibilities, it's mind boggling.

I'd love a Spike/Faith spin-off. Connor and Dawn would be great, and I'd love it if Andrew could be involved in that one, too. Occassional appearances from Giles, Xander, Willow, Illyria and the gang would be so fun! Maybe something with Dana....like after she gets some counseling? I'd like a Ripper movie, but I don't think a TV series would work. I mean, Giles is SO great as the older, wiser Watcher he is. I usually like background stuff but in this case, I think I'd be satisfied with a movie or perhaps a couple episode miniseries. Ripper is just what made Giles what he is today, that's the Giles I like!

Fray would ROCK. It'd be like a marriage of my two favorite things....Slayers and Sci-Fi.

wow Fray would be really good to watch. I think something 'new' and 'fresh' like Fray would be just what the Buffyverse needs. Quite honestly, I'm afraid that some of the characters we all love (eg. Willow and Spike) would be a little ruined, as some of them have been explored enough as it is - that is, if a series with all the main characters was made.
I think there is so much more that could be done with Illyria, she was only just 'born' when AtS finished. I think that Gunn had a lot left in him too. Gwen could have been cool, and Faith could have kept redeeming herself. Throw in Giles as 'bookman' and what's not to love?

I'm gonna sound like a broken record here, but I would have liked to see a "Tales of the Slayers" anthology, with each 2- to 4-episode arc centered around one or more of the newly created Slayers around the world. There could be an occasional guest shot with known characters - maybe one of the core four, maybe one of the original group of new Slayers.

I would have liked to see an entire Angel season dedicated to the Fang-Gang. That would have been cool - or, as is noted, a Fang-Gang series - about Darla, Angel, Drusilla & Spike in their glory days.

I would cream myself for a Spike/Faith series!

While your idea centers on the new slayers, I think period pieces on slayers of the past would be interesting.
I know it was done in comic form and in the 4 book anthologies.
They do seem to be well received.

well i adore spike...so i would love to see at least a mini tv movie devoted to him, just to round up his characters story...maybe with some angel, gunn and ilyria thrown in, just so we know what happened after the battle in angel. so they can round it up once and for all on tv...cause were still hangin on that cliff after the angel finale LOL

I'd like to see something a little different. Maybe have a show that is centered around Illyria, a primitive demon trying to make her way in the world today. Having her trying to understand human emotions, and the way of life as it is now. Of course, she'd have to do some butt kicking, but I think it would be really cool, and it wouldn't be the same as the other two, but it wouldn't be so far off from them that it isn't a spin off.

Giles and Spike together in a TV show would be fantastic.
I'm not a Faith fan so I would vomit all over my arm if they decided to have a spin off and it was going to star Faith. They would have to make her character so much more multi layered and likeable to me for me to even watch it.
I think that the lost episode idea would be awesome, but wouldn't really work because the actors have all aged so much, would be brilliant as a Joss written comic book thing, I would have preferred that to the Season 8 idea I think.

Everyone knows I want a Ripper series.

BUT, if I couldn't have a Ripper series, I'd like a Wishverse series starring vamp Xander and vamp Willow. That would be awesome. Alternatively, I'd like to see the fanged four. Fray sounds cool, too. Mostly, though, I just wanna watch evil Xander and Willow kill stuff. Plus, I like the idea of us seeing the whole good/evil thing from the other side. I think Joss is gifted enough to let us see the story from that side.

Definitely Ripper or Giles pre Buffy -- adventures with Ethan Rayne and the crew before Ethan turned to the dark side (or is that the premace of Ripper?)
