Buffy or Faith?

Which is the better slayer, Buffy or Faith? Personally i'm going with Faith but that's just my opinion.

Do you mean who we like better or who is better at fighting and stuff?

When it comes to fighting, I think Buffy. She's been in the game a bit longer and has more slaying experience. Plus, this was also implied on the show. In the episode 'Bad Girls' Buffy shouts 'Faith no' before she kills the man but her reactions aren't fast enough and the man dies. Some episodes later, in 'Doppegangland' Buffy wants to stake vamp Willow but real WIllow shouts 'Buffy no' and Buffy manages to stop in time. According to wikipedia they did this to show Buffy's reaction is better.

And if you meant who of the slayers we personally like better, I like them both equally.

As SS said (man it feels weird to call someone SS, especially since she´s from Germany oh, well) it depends on what you mean by best. But until we figure that out I´ll go with Buffy, since she have the advantage of experience. The best fighter I´m not so sure of, but instincts can only take you so far. Other things matter too.

As for personal liking I´ll say that Faith is the more interesting character. But having to fight all her inner demons can´t be on the positive note if you´re going to fight all other demons as The Slayer.

Oh, and it would be nice to have your reason to why Faith is the better one.

I think Faith fails rather as a slayer in S3 by being... y'know, evil and everything.

Buffy was definitely a better slayer insofar as priorities go, as Faith, you know, went evil and stuff. As far as fighting ability, didn't they have the same mystical power?

And for the characters themselves, I like Faith more. She was as complex as Buffy by mid season three, when she'd only been in a small number of episodes. She was intriguing and just such a rebel.

I think Faith is better. She's been to a very dark place, and she's still able to recover and fight the good fight. She, in my opinion, is the stronger slayer.

Buffy has the most experience fighting vampires and demons, and by Season 7 is no doubt the better fighter, though in Season 3 they were a lot closer matched. All in all, though, if for no other reason than that hers is the name in the show's title, Buffy would have to be the best Slayer. (That doesn't mean that she would be the one I would want to be stranded on a desert island with, however)

Right I would say Faith.

On the looks front I would say Faith wins Hand down.

In combat I cant quite Deceide Buffy is not as reckless but I think Faith is Stronger so I give this one to Faith

Who's done the most good would go with Buffy as being in jail kinda sucks for slaying deamons :D

Also I would give the best written Character to Faith, Buffy is so boring and 2D If you have ever seen Joss talk about why he choose a blonde girl it was because in horror films they are the 1st to die, Wake up Joss there's a good reason why they get killed off they are plain. Faith has many diemenisons loner, Killer, hero.

Overall for many reasons I would say Faith is the best!

my reason for Faith being my fave would be that she was evil and she was a really good character. also i think that buffy and angel became a whole lot better when she came in.

Buffy would be my choice , faith is to messed up to be a slayer she acts without heart, Buffy has to think of all her possibilties before she takes one , Faith is a great character but shes a tad selfish lol x

i would have to say buffy would be the better slayer, this is beause if the fate of the world rested on faiths shoulders she would have failed

I would say Buffy. She always had her head on straight and formed a plan, wasn't as wreckless as Faith. Faith is strong, especially because she goes wild, she doesn't hold back or even care about the consequences of certain actions as Buffy does. But in the end, i think her wild side is a huge negative.

Buffy has had much more time as a leader as well, which may be uncommon for a slayer (being they were usually loners) but i think because she had this unique trait she was stronger than most other slayers that had been before her, and Faith included.

Buffy was a way better fighter in my opinion. faith was great too, but buffy was a smidgeon better:)

Fau=iths one of my favorites but Buffy s obviously the better fighter, as we have seen when they fought.
But overall as a slayer, Buffy is still better.
