Best Character Exit.

what would you say is your favourite exit? mine would be spikes exit at the end of lovers walk where he's singing to this lively song and he's really happy and everyone else is moping around all sad about their broken relationships.

I would say the best exit is Wesley's death just because he gets to have that beautiful scene with Illyria as Fred as he is dying. Also when Fred/Illyria stands up and throws that killer punch at Vail in the middle of her transformation-so cool.

Just have to mention Anya's death in 'Chosen as the worst. It's just so shocking.

Cordy. I'm so glad they decided to bring her back for one episode in s5 to finish her storyline (because SMG was unavailable? Wasn't it something like this?) because that last episode of hers kicked butt big time. Well, and the writers kind of ended things exactly how I wanted them. Well, not Cordy dying of course, but making Cangel happen, with kissing and everthing. And it makes me really sad this last scene, how devastated Angel was because Cordy had to go.

I didn't know about that. I heard that SMG was going to appear in The Girl In Question but she couldn't make it so they made this episode without her. But I didn't have a clue they planned to bring her instead of Charisma.
Glad it didn't happen. It would be bad if Cordy just died and didn't come back for the last time to say goodbye. And 100th episode wouldn't be so awesome for sure!
Cordy's exit was really good, she went away but she knew that she did everything she had to and we had that wonderful Cangel scene:)

But my personal favourite exit is the same as Shadowcay's - Spike in Lover's Walk. This one is just hilarious. The ending of the episode is so depressing but I always start to laugh just when appears Spike:biggrin:

In Angel; Cordy and Doyle's exits were both amazing.

In Buffy: Spike in Chosen & Even though I hate him, I have to say I like Riley's exit in season four.

I can't think of any others. Joyce's...was sad, but good.

I'd probably have to say either Buffy in "The Gift" (thought that exit was just AWESOME!!! Loved it, hands down), or Cordelia's in "You're Welcome". Even though I've never been a Cangel fan, I thought it was really well done. Definitely worth watching.

It was also the kind of ending that I never would have expected from her character, which for me is a real bonus. Thought the "killing her but not" thing was a really good call. Did her justice, hands down (and the vision thing-- SUCH an awesome twist on the writer's part!) :D

Angel:
I'd have to say Cordy, Fred, and Wesley. Cordelia's was great for all the reasons mentioned above, and, as a big Cangel fan, her kiss with Angel was oh-so-satisfying. Fred's was devastating, and I cried more when watching A Hole in the World than I ever had in any form of the media, but it made for one of the greatest and best-acted hours of TV I've ever seen. Wesley's death was also a heartbreaker. First, he says he wants to spend what he knows could be his last day with Illyria because the only thing he truly wanted to do was be with Fred. Then, he gets killed that night, and you realize just how powerful that decision was. And the whole Illyria-as-Fred thing just pulled at your heartstrings so much. Also, I'm a total sucker for Fresley =X.

Buffy:
Okay, I know the worst death would be Anya's. It was shocking, and we never really got to experience the aftermath. That's why Chosen sort of left me with this hollow feeling. Best would be Spike's in Lovers Walk and Chosen. In Lovers Walk, I love how he really lightened the mood, and in Chosen, it was such a heroic death. And up until that scene, I never appreciated Spuffy; I loathed them together in season 6, and I think that scene and Spike's speech in Touched made up for all of their bad moments together.

Cordy. Loved her running back for that "kiss" & her "oh what the hell" line. I didn't really hate the idea of her & Angel as a couple, but the whole Connor thing ruined that altogether. So her OWTH line was really well deserved.

Angel:
Best: Cordelia, even though I'm keeping the Bangel love this episode was amazing, and I am glad that Cordelia got this episode as a love letter.
Worst: Fred, I HATE that she died in the same episode that Fred and Wesley finally got together. I know, you'd think I would be used to it... was awful. Although, a beautifully written and directed, nonetheless.

Buffy:
Best: Oz. Seth Green oozes coolness, and his painful exit was amazing. I love that guy.
Worst: Angel. I just didn't want him to leave, that's all. However, if he didn't... I wouldn't have the first list, irony's a bitcha sometimes, eh?

I found Rileys exit really sad, the way Buffy was rushing towards him and he couldn't hear her screaming for him.

I remember not being a big fan of Riley but wanting him to look down and see Buffy and come back, the pain of both of their faces was horrible.

Although I think Riley left in season 5.

I liked Spike and Drusilla's exit in Becoming because it was hilarious that Spike had to knock her out to make her come with him.
I also like Darla's exit in Angel when she sacraficed herself for her baby.
