Great ending to a great arc, hopefully Joss can do more in the future. But after reading this ish I'm convinced that Whedon and Cassady NEEDS to do a Spidey title.

Is it possible to bring Cassady over to Buffy 8 for a guest shot?

Forget a guest shot, for a whole arc! When Whedon comes back that should happen...probably not gonna though.

I tried to read this without having much of a clue what was going on.
It was awful purty, and still managed to be entertaining.
So the girl who was trapped in the bullet, that was the girl who phases through walls and stuff right?
And she somehow connected with the bullet and phased it through the whole planet, correct? So is she dead now?

Yup, that was Kitty Pryde (arguably Joss' main inspiration for Buffy). I'd missed a few issues of this last arc, but what a beautiful, bleak, heroic ending. I was thinking of "The Gift" as it wrapped up. So Kitty's bonded to the bullet now, permanently (they suspect)...but this is Marvel Comics after all. No one has to stay dead or gone forever.
I gotta track down my missing issues and reread this arc. I wish Joss had time to stick with Marvel, but I think he's done (after Runaways). And Warren Ellis is taking over Astonishing now I guess? That could be interesting.
