So after watching all you guys making the very wonderful art I decided to join in. I stole my rommie's PSP9 disc and started playing around. It took me a while but with a couple tutorial's help I think I'm doing pretty well.

Well, here's what I've got so far.

The first one. I like it but it could be better.

I don't like the black edge on this one, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it.

This one's my favorite. I just finished doing it with a very well written tutorial.

thats funny, i was just gonna ask you what program you use. i use GIMP (because its free).

i have not become a GIMP master like some other board members i know, but i can do alot of basic things.

if you already have photoshop, you should stick with that.

So bangel-y (did I mention I love it?). Really though, well done! You're coming up with some really creative designs, I especially liked the "Walk Away" background! It was just so well done, and I really like how you took a scene that was so heartbreaking and added your own captions to it. It turned out really nicely and is an interesting way to approach the scene. Major kudos!

Ooooh! I love the new stuff hun! The "torn between two lovers" piece is especially awesome, a great idea and the placement of photos works SO well with it! Love it! :)

As for ideas, you could always go for episodic pieces (oooh! Tabula Rasa or Hole in the World could both be fun to do).

Otherwise maybe targetting a character/actor you don't usually do artwork with? I find that sometimes looking through photoshoots of say J August R. or Michelle T. can spark an idea-- just a suggestion!

I can't wait to see what else you come up with, great work!

Thanks for the suggestions. My computer has decided to be dumb and made me reformat my hard drive... so I lost all the work I had done since my last post. I'm busy trying to recreate the awesomeness... but in the mean time here's a new Buffy wall...
A little different than normal...but I love the finished product.

Heres another one. I'm having to work without brushes because I have to download and convert them ALL AGAIN. Dude, it's so not cool. But I'm backing up everything this time so I don't lose it. =]

It's a Dark/Light Willow piece with the lyrics to A Perfect Circle's Annihilation, which I thought fit the theme of the wall perfectly. I'm happy with it. =] Hopefully you guys will like it too.
