I was working on a little photoshop project involving Scooby Doo and I happened upon this picture and I was thinking where have I seen that picture before oh yeah Buffy Omnibus Three... Here are the pics.

Oh yeah! I'd never noticed that! Haha. Though in hindsight, Buffy should have been in Daphne's place, hehe. And Xander in Scoob's? Think the artist was saying something there....though Giles conveniently placed in Shaggy's spot is rather odd....:)

Nice catch!

Some have commented on placements...
Daphne was the vain one so Cordelia naturally fits.
Xander in Scobby's place... natural fit as well.
Willow in Velma's place is also natural.
Giles is the overseer of the group and should be placed in the rear, so natural fit there as well.
What's left is Buffy taking the place her husband, while also seems a natural fit.
Placed in the library as well... also appropriate.

Nice composition and lifting they did for that cover.

im not in the marketing business, but im sure there is a word for what you discovered. you know, where the omnibus cover is clearly a takeoff of the scooby pic.

anyway, im glad to know im not the only one reading the omnibus series. i love them.

im reading #4 right now.
