Season 4 what if

You know I always find myself wondering what if season 4 had went the way it was suppose to I think that it could have been the greatest of all the seasons. I mean having Cordy possessed by a former higher power, turn evil, manipulating events behind the scenes and ultimately fighting with Angel. I just can't stop thinking about it I mean after all the good cordy had done Seasons(1-3) then turn evil season 4 then redeem herself in season 5 man I wish I could just see that. Also we wouldn't have the whole disgust thing between Cordy and Connor plus this could have given the fans a chance to actually start to like him(Connor) while he aligned himself with angel against cordy and the beast. Also I wonder how the episode Orpheus would have turned out,there's something to think about.

Actually I wonder quite often just how that story would have gone if it had been given the chance to play out it's originally-intended way. It seemed her story ended so prematurely.

It would've been really cool to see the alternate story play out, for sure. But it certainly wouldn't be the first time a show had to change direction when a starring actress was expecting. I sometimes wonder what would've happened, had 'Angel' been renewed for a sixth season, with the character of Illyria(someone correct me if I'm wrong - wasn't it late Season 5 or shortly after that Amy Acker announced she was expecting?).
