The Bangel one with the Pink lyrics is sooo fitting. In the '3 years from now' way. Because they met in the first episode of s1 and he left 3 years later, at the end of s3. Ironic somehow.

Awesome pieces! I love your use of text - it always stands out but fits the pieces so well! :D My favourite out of all of them is the 'I can't Breathe' banner, it's beautiful and really full of emotion! Seriously though, they are all fantastic, but that one just really stands out to me. :)

So really, this is just a generic test piece dealio that I made when working through her awesome "Full Wallpaper Tutorial" (http://impulsive.sarrand.net/wall_tut.php).

Hoping to use the same technique to do some stuff that's more my "style", especially banners, but I thought I'd post this one. Not sure how happy I am with it on its own (feel like I've seen it a zillion times before!), but it was just to try out the Tutorial, so in that respect I'm very happy with the blendage :)

yay! update-y goodness! :woot: the last three are my favourites! :D i like the song choice and the willow/tara-ness of the candle one. i like the smooth symmetry of the one with buffy and tara. i like the textures and font on the last one, as well as the overall banner. the others also are awesome; those three are just my favourites!

WOOAH, I seriously can't believe how good you've gotten! Both of those blends are incredible, and the banners are my favorites yet! The Darla and Angel one is probably my favorite of the bunch, but I adore them all; I love the Rent lyrics and Tillow-ness of the second one, the third one is so well-blended and absolutely gorgeous, and the Bangel one is really cool-looking!

So today I finally tried my hand at colourizing (eek!). First shot of SMG I just took at B&W photo and added colour/texture, didn't mind how it came out. The second is obviously Michelle T, a fairly low quality promo shot that I was trying to enhance a little. I was hoping it turned out better, but not HORRIBLE for my first tries I suppose. :D

Ooh, prettyful! I love the MT image, sort of like a retouch. The SMG colourize is awesome too, she just needs her skin tone warming up a bit, lol. Have you tried copy merging and pasting a new layer and setting the layer to overlay or softlight?

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

Yeah, SMG was giving me hardcore trouble. Right now I'm creating new layers over the B&W image (a layer for each colour/section that I colour in) and setting the layer to soft light. I think I put a couple as overlay, depending on the colour and such. Skin tones and lips are both giving me trouble though (arg!). I'm not sure if that's what you mean or if I'm missing something!

the colourises are pretty sweet! the wall is awesome bangelness! :) in the faith banner, i like the text and the red texture on the edges. and finally, i adore the concept and presentation of the the 'houses' banner! that one is definitely my favourite! :woot: should maybe be an optional header for that forum or something :D. you should make some xander/anya stuff next (unless of course you dont 'ship that way); you're lacking it :).
