Problem Registering

Just thought I'd mention a little problem with the boards...

I just got a friend of mine to join (yay!), but she says she can't register. I tried registering for her, but I couldn't either...it said something about the server. Hopefully it's fixable!

If it was a server problem one would hope that was temporary. Could she/he try again?

If that doesn't work and Buffy doesn't respond here (she may be away currently), could you open a "Problems Registering" thread in the main Angel Investigations forum. Post the exact error message with it. We'll try to help.

It's ReCaptcha...grrr. I'll see about turning that off, which is a shame but if it's becoming a problem here... Vb told me they had fixed it but I guess not :(

Hiya, a friend of mine I invited to join us finds it impossible to register, too. She keeps getting this error message:

"Image verification could not be verified due to server issues. Please try again later"

Is this the same problem you're already working on?

She was able to register (her username is Yam Sham), but apparently, she can't post or anything yet. I asked her to send me what it said when she tried to post, and here it is:

Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum.

Does that mean the admin (Buffy) has to accept her registration or something?
