The New Wolfram & Hart?

In recent months, I've been rewatching my BtVS and Angel DVD's after a few years of being shelved. Anyhow, I just finished my rewatch of Season 4 and noticed something - I was wondering if anyone else noticed or had an explanation.

In the Season 4 finale, "Home", Lilah takes the gang on a tour of the newly rebuilt and restaffed Wolfram & Hart. It was completely rebuilt since The Beast killed everyone and destroyed W&H - and you can see, from the gang's tour, that the office(from the lobby especially) looks completely different. Now, fast-forward to Season 5 and the W&H depicted here looks an awful lot like the one in the previous seasons and nothing like the "new" one shown during "Home".

Did anyone else notice this or have an explanation?

The W&H building looks different in almost every episode up until season 5 haha. But most likely the set that they used in Home was one of those one-use temporary sets and at that point in time they didn't know if Angel was getting renewed for a 5th season so buiding an entire set for one episode would be a bit pointless.

Thanks - I kinda thought it was probably something along those lines. I just figured they would've tried to build a set that re-created the "Home" W&H as best they could, for the sake of continuity - or maybe they didn't think anyone would really notice. :)

The weird thing was, it changed so drastically. I mean, they came up with a whole new design at the end of Season 4, yet they completely re-did it again. I don't think it was that similar to the first W&H building though. And I wish they didn't change the exterior. I loved the old slopey one.

I know what you mean between the difference in the appearance of the sets between Home and Conviction, I think maybe they took what they had in Home and spruced it up a bit cos they would be using it for a whole season. Although, yeah, it was noticable that is was different, lol! But I do love the W&H set in season 5, very cool place.
