My hubby makes fake Magic: The Gathering cards for fun. Here are the ones he made for Buffy:

Those are awesome! I'm not a big Magic fan, or any kind of Magic fan for that matter, but those look seriously legit. Good on your hubby!

Wow, they're great! Quite stunning and I loved which quotes he chose for each one, and actually the whole general thing. Very impressive!

I don't think so.
It's a card game, played with 2 or more people.
Buffy has a card game based on a similar idea.
Magic the card game has been very popular since the early '90's.
The cards specify actions or resources you can employ.
It became so popular that it allowed the owners (Wizards of the Coast) to purchase the game Dungeons & Dragons.
There used to be tournaments for big money (thousands of dollars) held worldwide. There still may be for all I know.
Is that enough of a brief summary?

I picked out most of the quotes. He doesn't really know enough about B/A to pick them. :D

HA! The quotes are nice. The only one that doesn't really fit so much is Oz and the werewolf aspect being portrayed.
I'm surprised no one has said anything about Spike being 5/5 while Angel is 4/4 since they are the same cost to bring into play.

^ That's all me. :D It's mostly about Spike refusing to ever give up and kicking Angel's ass.

Ya know, a full set of Buffy Magic cards would be really nice.
I'd play that! Really! Let's go!
Might have to change the Mana cards though to a more Sunnyvale motif to keep the Buffy flavor.
There's even a way to play it (Magic) over the internet, or used to be.
I'm an old time Jyhad (Vampire: The Eternal Struggle) player as well.
Was even on the rules team back in the day.
Now that was a mind-screw game - do I bring out the big guns and really weaken myself or not?
The enemy of my enemy is maybe my friend.

Sorry but I'm unimpressed, all bad choices of artwork, two cards in particular look quite amateurish and all of them have a simple(and probably accidentally) flaw that shows they're fake.
And also, no Clem card. Fail.

Wow, CR, why don't you tell us what you REALLY think?
Any issues on the cards themselves can be blamed on the software he's using to create them. Unless you're talking about the "set" icon, in which case, he made that up, so of COURSE it's fake.
If you can think of stuff to put on a Clem card, I'll have him make one.

Actually the problem i mentioned was the white corners which comes from saving them as a .jpg. Adding an alpha channel underneath, erasing the white and saving it as a .png should fix it

They were saved as .jpg specifically so I could post them here. Otherwise he's got them in the Magic creator thing, and I don't know the file extension for those.

I'm not worried about how authentic they look. They're not actual proxies, just for fun, and I posted them here just for fun. It's not that big a deal, really.
