Hmm.

Well I do have the full run of comics produced by Goblin Studios.
Joe Psycho & Moo Frog, Goblin Studios Presents and The Goblin.

I understand these are prized in the comics community for rarity.
As for what they're worth, I have no idea.

I used to live in Portland Oregon and would visit Dark Horse Comics when they were located there on Sandy Blvd. I lived just a block and a half away so it was no big thing.
Old Weird Harold's was pretty good about Dark Horse showings as an up and coming publisher.
This was before Dark Horse obtained the Star Wars license.

Goblin Studios was across the river on 4th Plain Blvd. and about a decade later, again no big thing to visit them.

Well, I have several titles that I cherish because of the authors autographs and drawings, but I have to say my favorite is still the first - Croatian edition of "The Killing Joke", signed by Brian Bolland.
As for the most expensive, I think the title goes to the Croatian Absolute edition of the "Outlaw Nation" (which is also signed by both Goran Sudzuka and Jamie Delano, but it cost like hell).
In America, I didn't get too many signatures or drawings... I only caught up with Grant Morrison in San Francisco and got an autograph in the Comic Con catalog... And Terry Moore signed a TPB of "SiP" for me, drawings were to expensive... Oh yeah, Jimmie Robinson was promoting the first issue of Bomb Queen, so I can say I got the first issue and an autograph from an author no one knew anything about yet. :)

I don't know if "cherish" would be the right description, but I'm rather fond of the TPB that I got recently of the Spiderman/Red Sonja crossover, not because of Sonja's body armor (okay, not ENTIRELY because of it. I ain't a monk!) as much as the rather believable (well, for comic books, anyhow) way that they pulled the whole thing off

I've moved this thread to Social Studies as it isn't specifically about Buffy or Angel comics.

Most of my favourite comics are in tpb format, though I do have some nice individual issues...at least I did...the goddess of domesticity that is Mrs P had me move them into a cupboard in the interests of something called 'tidying up'...a concept which was quite alien to me :) Favourite collections are The Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, and Sandman: The Doll's House. Fave individual comic is Sandman 19 - the Midsummer Night's Dream issue...Gaiman and Shakespeare: a great combination.

I'm partial to my early run of Spawn, issues 1-27, then it gets hit and miss. I also treasure my 4 issue Wolverine miniseries, Short of that, there are all those Buffy's I've yet to read...and Milk and Cheese! (very funny 2 me in a angry, dangerous, duo of dairy products sort of way......... At least they use to be)

Those constitute the "I'm never going to sell them" list.

I haven't owned these for very long, but they became instant treasures for me. They are the entire TPB series of Preacher, and the Fray TPB.

Excellent books. :: tu ::

I don't cherish a specific issue of a comic or anything...but I would say my Witchblade trade paperbacks that I've been collecting, I've completely become obsessed with em. :)
