I haven't. At first it was because of my upbringing--"My mother always said beer is evil"--then later because I didn't like the smell of beer and I thought drunk people were stupid. Now it's mostly that I just haven't gotten around to it, though some of it is that my hubby is an avowed teetotaler and I'm worried he might think less of me if I drink even a single drop of alcohol.

I've never been drunk, but I love alcohol. Whisky, rum, vodka, any strong spirits. Love the taste. Been drinking since I was 12 or so, you can drink from the age of 5 in your own home.

*jumps on Bear's bandwagon*

Yep, another vote for 'never' here. I don't actaully know why. My upbringing was very much in the way of 'Lyri's stupid, she doesn't know any better.' So my theory was, if I start to drink and end up getting drunk in front of my family, they're gonna think I'm even more of a failure. So I stayed away from it, at least until I was older. Didn't really work out that way. Once I got old enough to go out partying with friends, I started to realized that I preferred to remember what I did the night before. I felt...weird that most of my friends would call the next morning and ask me what they did the night before. I vowed that I would never be the one to do that.

So, teetotal is me!

That's funny - I always remember what I've done when I'm drunk, I suppose that is a good thing in a way. Stops me from making a fool of myself:whistle:

i dont care for alcohol now at all but in high school we drank even in class (cause you can have your own 'water' bottles and a mate of mine used to put together her own concoctions to make maths fun) its sad really drinking in school and smoking weed, but its just what we did. its like because we were like 13 and shouldnt be doing it then it was fun, but once you can then its not.... stupid teenage thing..... i mean my mom only found out about some of the drinking i did underage not too ling ago because we always stayed at a friends house at weekends where her room was the top floor and we were never disturbed (her father always went and got us alcohol and weirdly her family was seriously religious of the Christian variety well her mom mostly but her dad was cool... we were even dragged to church early on a sunday morning a few times!) or at my friends house whos father owned a local shop (that was up the road from the high school) and he'd buy us alcohol cause he knew how much we wer drinking and where we were when we did. I'm nothing like that now tho.

(oh and i wasnt half as bad as charvs who totally got pissed in like every class or high in woodwork.... i was the good kid, honest)

Well the first time I guess was then I just turned 14. I was on a trip with my father and big sister. They both wanted a drink so I tagged along to the bar. My father thought it might be a good idea for me to have one if I wanted to, as he thought it was a good idea to have me supervised the first time. I had no idea that to have so I took the first thing that came to mind. James Bond drinks martinis, so thatīs what I got. It was awful. But I couldnīt let my sister see me as a "wimp" so I decided to drink it as fast as possible. And let me tell you, the drink looked nothing like the kind James Bond drinks. Iīm still not sure I got the right one. It had the tiniest straw you ever saw. So I drank the whole thing through the straw in about 15 seconds.

Bad idea, boy was I drunk. Not that I would admit it though. But my sister still tease me about it, and I donīt think my mother still has forgiven our father. But Iīve never been a big drinker. I can drink if I find something I like, but none alcoholic works just fine. And I never drink to get drunk, which seems to be the only reason for drinking in Sweden. Well, almost anyway.

Oh yes, Iīm rambeling. Time for bed.

vodka dont smell, not in my experience... we did it on an art trip once, we all had bottles of coke with vodka in. the teachers had let us go shopping by ourselves and well we all went to buy vodka, and then went to some pub.... later found out that that was exactly what our two art teachers had done too!

and as for in school, the charvas wer far worse so we were just the hippy rocker kids who got away with stuff cause we had good grades and didnt get in trouble.... teachers usually had a lot of other kids fighting or girly bitching to deal with to notice us.

See, that just goes to show my complete lack of experience with alcohol. I was at a wedding recently and completely shocked by how alcohol-y the wine smelled, yet how not-alcohol-y the whiskey smelled. I have no idea what to expect with what drinks smell and what don't.

I dont actually remember, it was prob between 16 - 18.

I know It wasn't till I was over 18 that I got drunk and had shots and stuff, and it's been all down hill from there.

I hate drinking in front of my family, Year before last on New years I was at a friends and I had like 13 shots and then downed half a liter of sambucca (sp?)and ended up in hospital and had to be collected by my entire family and now I just hate it cuz theres always the jokes.

The only time I ever remember any of my friends drinking in high school was when I was called out of class to come to the nurses office when one boy, who lived a couple streets away from me, decided it was a really good idea to down 4 straight shots of vodka before he got the bus that morning. He had to be sent home, but his parents were at work, so they needed my permission to call my grandfather to see if he could come take the boy home. He ended up going to my grandparents house as his parents weren't in, and crashing on the couch all day. That was fun...not, lol.

*cough* I don't remember it myself, of course - but people told me it was at the age of FOUR. Strolling around a party drinking the dregs of the stuff the grownups left in their glasses... bad idea.

To my credit, didn't touch the stuff again until I was 14, when my parents let me in on the New Years Eve punch & champagne.

I probably was about 17 when I got good and proper drunk, but I always remember being a little kid and mum or dad would let me have some of their Baileys or Wild Peach (and my mother bought me passion pop and vodka cruisers for my after prom bash...while I still wasn't legal) so I guess for me it was kind of a like a "whoa, too much!" sort of experience.

Hasn't stopped me though....I've had that experience again far more times than I can count.

I have never touched the stuff. It is still illegal for me to drink here in the US but a ton of my friends/classmates do. It kind of sucks sometimes because people call me the goodie goodie because I don't drink and they make fun. I think it is really stupid of them to do that because I don't judge them for drinking but they judge me for not drinking. So yeah I don't plan on drinking until I am of age and even then I don't think I will drink much if any. I am clumsy enough as it is I don't need any more help.

I'm the only person who put "Other".... I feel all alone now...

Anyway the reason I did was because I have never been completely drunk. Not because I don't drink, but because I don't see the point. It's much more fun to watch other people get completely wasted - or, since the thread titled "Alcohol" seems to have drawn out all the Scots: pished! I'll happily drink, but not to the point where I won't remember things or pass out. That's no fun!

I'm another of the haven't-touched-alcohol clan. Mostly I just have no desire to drink, and I agree with Lyri--I prefer to remember the previous night when I get up in the morning.

Some of my friends drink. Easily half the kids in my grade did as well. But I've got a group of close friends who don't drink, which is great. My best friend from elementary school on to a few years ago got really into the whole partying scene, which I didn't like but didn't try to change. When she made it my issue was where I drew the line. And I don't see myself drinking at all when I'm of age either. I've done the whole designated driver thing and I think I like it better.

Plus, alcoholic beverages have a tendency to smell awful.

I was 22 and on my honeymoon. We were waiting for the horse drawn carriage tour and the only thing that was open was a martini bar, so we went in and I tried one. I didn't like the martini. Honestly, I don't like the scent of alcohol and I don't like fruit, so there aren't many alcoholic drinks that appeal to me.

I now drink socially so as not to look completely weird, but I only do so in moderation. I've been drunk only a couple of times. Mostly, I dislike the feeling (although I can hold it well for such a tiny person and don't get sick the next morning). I'm kind of a control freak, so feeling all relaxed and free makes me uncomfortable. I also talk non-stop when drunk, which can get kind of embarrassing, so I prefer to avoid the drinky drinky. I usually don't drink. If I do, it usually involves sipping the same rum and coke all night long.

I was definitely younger than 14 - but then I did stuff when I was younger that I wouldn't consider doing now 'lol' I can remember many a drunken night - note I said 'remember' - I've never been that bad that I woke up the next morning not remembering what happened the night before! I used to drink alot when I was younger, you know, going out clubbing Thur-Sun, spending loads of money etc. Rebelling against a restrictive childhood I think looking back.

I wouldn't dream of doing that now though, and although I still like a drink, fave tipple being whiskey, I don't go to extremes - with 5 kids having a hangover is so not a good idea 'lol'. I like to be 'relaxed' and have a good time, and I'm not saying that I couldn't do the same without alcohol, but I enjoy the taste and don't do it all the time, so when I do have a drink, I enjoy it. These days it tends to be social gatherings, if it's just me and the hubby, then I might have the odd bottle of lager, or glass of wine, but that's it, aqnd that's not very often as we don't actually go anywhere because of having the kids - we don't like dumping them on other people so we tend to stay in ALOT!

Well I feel like a teenage tearaway. I was 13 and at a church function. We'd had a party to welcome the new vicar, and my friends and took a bottle of wine off one of the tables and went and hid in a room and drank it. We got in so much trouble off our parents but at least our first time drunk was in a safe environment... hangover at school the next day wasn't great though especially as we were all in a school play and I was the lead! lol

14. We were on a class trip and everyone was pretty much drinking so I figured what the heck and just did it myself. Most people were seriously impressed by the amount of straight vodka I could just drink in one go. Though most people knew it was my first time doing serious drinking, it was unfortunately only after I started barfing that they told me I wasn't supposed to mix any hardcore alcoholic substances with others. Not really that good of an experience. But hey, at least it was the only time ever alcohol brang me down like that, never had to deal with the throwing up again so far.

I was 14 and I was on a school trip. Almost everybody had alcohol with them. I was in the room at the ground floor with two other girls. Firstly we were supposed to go to the first floor because there was going to be a party but when we came back from the bathroom teachers didn't let us go there.
So we decided to drink beer in our room. Later came two another girls and they were SERIOUSLY drunk. They wanted to get to the first floor and climbed the rainspout but they fell off so they came to us. They brought vodka with them.
We drank it and after some time they came back to their rooms. We almost got caught because one of the teachers heard something and knocked to our door. We decided we wouldn't open it and waited as he left. The other day when I opened the door he was already standing there( like in a movie) and said: " Ladies didn't open the door last night. Why?" I said: "Hmm..Ummm... We didn't hear it" I had to be the one who opened the door!
I tried alcohol before that but it were little amounts.
The whole thing seemed fun but at the morning I woke up in the room dirty like hell full of the smell of vodka and cigarettes ( the girls who visited us were smoking).
I had a headache too. I wanted so much to go home but we had another day of sightseeing. Now I don't really count it as one of my best experiences.

sounds a bit like a school trip i had where the following day we went up the Eiffel tower and the photos of us up there look horrible, it was like February and wer all huddled up with big coats and scarfs and mittens trying to hide our bloodshot eyes from the night before... aaaah memories. that morning it was horrible trying to avoid teachers, and looking down at the table at breakfast so they couldnt smell the alcohol on us or see how bad we looked since we had gotten no sleep.

it was confusing enough that there were three Rachel's on the trip (me being one of them so we all went by othernames)

Aside from taking the odd sip of parent's wine (and cringing at the tender age I was! That stuff is bitter!), my first real encounter with alcohol was at age 13. A friend of mine had an older sister who had bought a bottle of vodka and we broke into it one night. Starting taking sips straight from the bottle-- got a little tipsy but nothing major. Back then it was just so "taboo" that we couldn't bring ourselves to have anymore than a couple sips :silly: Probably for the best!

Had a couple experiences since then (including being one of those pitiful criers at a school dance a few years back, and a very barf-tastic new years eve *cringes*), turned me off of it quite promptly. I still enjoy a drink every now and again, but for the most part I've learned to stay away from it.

When you went to high school in a super-small farming town, what else it there to do? :)

We always went out to the 'field' during our senior year of high school. So, that'd be 17 years old for me. Once you get over the novelty of feeling not good the next day, it kinda becomes something worthless.

I've only been out one time since becoming legal age with some friends from college. That was almost five years ago.

It also doesn't help when you have a diabetic friend be seriously stupid and not eat much during the day, nor take his insulin shot and do many jello shots in one evening. You kind of sober up real quick and don't really feel like doing all that anymore when you're driving him to the hospital and then driving to his house to wake up his parents and let them know that their son is getting his stomach pumped at the emergency room. That totally puts it all in perspective.

Hmmm, I think I was 16 when I first got officially drunk. I was at a convention. After that I didn't drink much, only at conventions really because I find it safest to drink there. A confined location. Staying in a hotel. No worry of driving home. Safe with my friends. It works for me.

Now, obviously, I drink at parties with friends, but that's about it.

I think I didn't go crazy with alcohol as some teens do because my mom made alcohol okay. She used to give me a glass of wine with dinner every now and then.

I beat you all! When I was about 6, I had been outside playing, and was really thirsty. I ran home, into the kitchen (my parents were in the living room at the time) and grabbed a half full glass of what I thought was water that was sitting on the table and took a big gulp. It was what people in the South call "white whiskey," liquor illegally distilled up in the hills. I almost choked to death. I didn't touch any other sort of alcoholic drink until I was 22 and in the Navy in St Thomas. I was so unimpressed with it then that I haven't had more than half a dozen drinks since. Just make mine Dr Pepper.

Well techincally I was about 5 when I first had alcohol- every Christmas Eve my Mom would give me a small glass of Sherry. It was like this thing that came to mean Christmas for me...of course Mom's plan was to have me doze off. But iwas never a lot of it, just a very very small glass, but you know enough. So I always love that drink now.

However, first time ever getting properly drunk...I would have to say never. I have never been drunk. I was never one to go out just for the sake of drinking. I'd go out to socialize, to dance, to have fun and I'd probably have a few drinks along the way. Usually no more than two or three. So I've never been drunk...although at family parties, due to my Aunt always topping up my white wine I sometimes get tipsy but that's as crazy as it gets. Yes, marvel at my wildness.

My first drink of alcohol was on Christmas when I was 19 and my dad gave me a tiny glass of Champagne. But it was probably about 2 tbs and I didn't drink it all because it upset my stomach. I don't even know if that counts as "properly drunk" but that would be it. I dispise the smell of beer, so I've never had one of those. I don't really want to try vodka or any strong spirits because I'm very afraid of what it might do to me or how I might act. I'm a fan of wines and champagnes...my dad is in that buisness so he knows all the best kinds to get. Also that's how I came to have real champagne...that is actaully good. But that's all. He'll have me try a sip here and there of wines and such because I want to learn about wines, but I've never been even close to drunk, nor have I even had a full glass of wine or whatev. I think it's good for me because I've been able to say no to everyone who offers me to drink...and I'm in a sorority too.

Well I havent read this thread entirly.. partly because I am slightly tipsy now but only because I am celebrating the fact I have an internet connection and can see BB! I dont make a habit out of getting drunk on my lonesome but I do enjoy a beer or beam most days.

I first got drunk when I was about 13, but not totally off my face til I was 14 and I dont even remember that. Just what people have told me and it is rather cringeworthy so any youngens out there take note!! I remember my parents leaving me and my stepsister (who is the same age) alone with some primary school friends ( a reunion of sorts) and a carton of lemon ruskis and bottles of vodka so we could make them stronger. Just as the parents came home from their night out I was being carried down the stairs by a boy named "Alby" and my stepsister was throwing up in the garden. We also had two girls in white dresses in the pool and emma and ruban on the back lawn seeing 'rocket ships' Im pretty sure they were stoned. Was a messy night.

Unbelievably my parents let me and my stepsister have many more parties, until I got sent to boarding school... Nat (stepsister) had some good parties still and I made a point of going home for them! The yr 12 after- ball party (a ball is like a prom for those of you who dont have them) was held at our house. I didnt even go to the school anymore but I still went to the party, It was the first time my parents saw me drunk and I think they majorly regreted it! We had a few hundred people at the house but it was pretty controlled.

I didnt learn, I still got drunk at my own schools after ball party and although I didnt do anything I regret I am still living it down. I got awarded Belle of the Ball (while sobar I might add) at the actual ball so I spent the whole after-party telling EVERYONE that I got Belle of the ball. Now if I ever get excited about anything my mates tease in a slurred voice "I got belle Of the Ball!"

People who dont drink too much are smart. Im not. I enjoy drinking but look back on some of my drunken mistakes and I am embarrassed. Of course I have had really good times too but those are probably out weighed by the bad. Drink in moderation;) if at all!

The first time I was ever right and proper shitfaced was when I was 17. There was a party at my ex-boyfriend's friends apartment, see...

Yea. It was not a good night. I've never been one to black out when I drank, so I remember the night totally. I was the only one among them who had never been drunk before, so everyone was shoving random bottles of booze in my face. And, well, since I didn't know any damn better, I was all, "OOOO-KAAAAY!" .:chugs:.

The night ended with my friend holding me up while I vomited on the grass - in order to save me from falling face first in my own puke. NICE.

Other than that, I'd say I drink about average for a 21-year-old. There are nights where I sit and have a couple beers to myself, but mostly I save heavy drinking for parties and things like that. I don't like the way I act when I get drunkity-drunk drunk, so when I'm around a lot of people I tend to take it easier. Mostly I just get stupid and start dancing in the rain or something.

I was 17. A LOT of stuff happened to me when I was 17, for some reason. Late bloomer, I guess! I didn't get falling-down-drunk, but I was pretty toasted, I remember!

Pop? Who calls it pop? No one in Scotland anyway. It's usually a generic Coke up here, or just a soft drink. Which I'm told usually means just a non-alcoholic drink anywhere else. In Glasgow, however, in their eminent individuality, it's called ginger. Never worked that one out myself...

First time I had alchohol was on a new years eve when I was probably 5 or 6. My family always drank mulled wine on new years eve as a tradition and I think I was about 5 or 6 when they caved in and let me have a glass. I'm pretty sure I found it disgusting though, and I didn't drink again until my late teens haha.

I don't think I've ever gotten drunk, though I do dabble every so often. Mostly when I go out with friends or with my boyfriend, though the most I ever usually have is a small vodka and orange..I'm a lightweight.

Never drank alcohol, never will!

Okay, I lied. I have wine at communion on Sundays at church... :p

I was 18 the first time I ever tried alcohol, and I had it several times before I got actually drunk. I don't drink often but when I do I usually binge drink and get really wasted. It's kinda fun, but I don't feel the need to get drunk again for a long time. Except one time in March I was at a club and ended up drinking half a bottle of vodka, a few glasses of wine, and capped it with a beer and ended up with mild alcohol poisoning...I vomited countless times that night and the next day, and I felt like crap for the entire week.

I was just slow at deciding to try things. I was 20 before I smoked weed, because I hated the smell of it, but now I don't think it's that bad. *shrug*

I have had wine at church for communion and when I was in France in 2005 with my dad, we were in a vineyard, but I didn't really drink the wine eventhough I was handed a glass. I just turned 21 yesterday (see the thread my adopted male-role-model-figure created here :P), but I didn't even drink there. Ah well. It may happen sometime.

I have sips of alchohol at the age of 20. But I never plan on getting drunk. It just doesnt appeal to me.

gosh, we're a bunch of early starters, I think I was about 11 or 12 when I first grabbed a sip of mum's gin and tonic *shudders* but my first drink was an accidental drink, at age 2, i slugged a 1/4 of a bottle of red wine and slept for two days, my parents were horrified! But I'm sneaky like that, they never noticed the bad stuff I did :)

I DRANK something at around 18, but I didn't actually drink until 22.

I was a good little drunk for a while though. Only beer, too chicken to try anything hard. I HATE being out of control.

I was always a very smart (& very law-abiding!) kid. I didn't drink until I was 18. At that time, 18 was the legal drinking age in my state.

I had never cared for alcohol, or any drug (pot, pills, etc.) - my father was an alcoholic & a drug addict & I never wanted that kind of life for myself.

But all thru jr.high & hi-school, every Monday was a topic for "how drunk" or how "f***ed up" someone got over the weekend. And every Friday was a conversation for "where's the party man? I wanna get drunk." I just didn't see that "ideal lifestyle".

So when I turned 18, I wanted to experience what the fuss was all about for myself. So I asked a friend of mine to take me out one Saturday & "get me drunk". He just about fecesed himself right then & there - he knew I was a T-totaler. But he did what I asked. We stopped at a liquor store & got some Jack Daniels & some Coke. We drove down to the lake. He showed me how to "chase it". I drank the whole pint. (well, I did give him a sip or two!) After a little while of saying "I don't feel a thing".... about 20 minutes later, it hit me. Boy, did it hit me! I remember a good deal of that night. My friend holding me by the belt-loops of my Levi's while I puked in the lake for an hour. His driving me around town til I sobered up enough for him to take me home. Our conversation about MY first drinking experience. And when I got home, & was still so drunk I stumbled up the steps & into the house... and my mother was still awake & watching TV... and what do you think she said?

"Quit acting like you're drunk!" My own mother knew me well enough... knew that I was a T-totaler, etc... she didn't even believe me when I retorted "But Mom... I AM DRUNK."

That was nearly 30 years ago. I can count the times I've been drunk on one hand. I am a social drinker; never drink alone & definitely do not care to get "drunk". I hate that feeling. That dizzy, sick, not-in-control feeling.

But a good frozen margarita on a hot summer day at the beach is sometimes just what the doctor ordered. ;)

I've never been DRUNK but there was a stretch last summer where I stayed at my sisters and I had quite a few drinks each night I was there.

I got totally drunk on a bottle of peperment schnaups I shared with a few friends at a camp out in 7th grade...13 years old, i think. it only got worse. My best buddies Mom was a single mother who was a nurse. She worked alot of overnights and had a wicked liquor cabnet and a fridge full of beer for her boyfriends. Him and I would routinelly raid it, then play final fantasy 1 and listen to N.W.A. while drunk off our butts. I remeber the drinking but little else..."Where did we park the airship?"

It was dangerous, unhealthy and dumb...and i don't remember much of it.

To this day, short of a Gin martini tradition at Christamas, I stay away from the hard stuff. I'll have a beer...make that a guinness given the opportunity but even thats limited. I'm worried that i'll becaome an alchoholic if i ever slipped back into the old me too far, plus I don't have the time nor drive to drink anymore.

I don't miss it, really.

I had sips of champagne and things at parties growing up but i first got really drunk at 15. It was carnival day for the town next door to mine, which is a parade of floats a funfair and lots of drinking. I went with several friends, we got some people to buy some alcohol for us. Several hours and 2 big bottles of something like Archers later i was legless. My mum came to pick me and my friend up and instead of telling us off like we expected she just laughed and said we'd regret it in the morning. She knew the hangover we would have would be the worst punishment and it was. :lmao:

My choice drink now I'm older is Jack Daniels and Coke.

Edit:

Littlewilly, no I haven't heard of buckfast, no one i knows has drunk it or even mentioned it. It must not be well known where I live lol ;) I just googled it and its appears to be some sort of wine?

I never was really drunk, though I had already sometimes problems with alcohol a bit. Like we were on some festival, and I drunk bit too much sangria and I needed to go sit down on earth cause I really was getting this painly feeling in my stomach.

Well of course drinking a bit from mum/dad's glass was already sooner than my age now, around 5 maybe, but that's kind of innocent, just one time I could taste from their glass, that was all.

When I was 14. Started on the Gin lol. But then again since I was always at home and being supervised I always drink in moderation, even when I go out or hang around with friends, its taught me to be responsible with it.

I was 16 and it was at my after prom party. I remember there being a lot of alcohol bottles on one table...and someone thought it was a good idea to mix everything together and hand out glasses of it. I took one..being slightly tipsy already, and that just made me worse lol. Once that had all gone...we all put our money together and some people stumbled across the road playing 'dodge the traffic' to the off licence to get some more lol. They came back with about 50 quids worth of alchohol...i think i eventually feel asleep in a heap at the bottom of the stairs after i fell down them. Worst night's sleep i've ever had.

I don't go out with the sole purpose of getting drunk like some of my mates, in which case i usually have a drink and watch them get drunk...it's more fun like that. :D

I got really drunk ONCE when I was 13, and had a majorly bad experience(like life changingly bad) so after that I didn't drink until it was legal and I was 18. It's went downhill from there really.

About 10 at a Christmas Party held by folks... I had been sent to bed by the baby-sitter long before the party had even officially landed back at the house.. but kids - they find a way to drink booze at any cost.

Hangover city is all I can say about how I felt the following morning!

Again, due to naivety, I wasn't really sure how fast I was supposed to drink it. So I was just tipping my head back and pouring away.
.

Thats me too, 2 litres of cider, downing it like ****, coming out with stupid things after 15 minutes like ''man, i must be able to handle this ok, i aint even a bit drunk'' then i finished my mates cider too, and an hour later i was staggering all over the streets like a friigin freak, trying to fall asleep on the pavement. Then i went home after having spewed all over myself(haha) tried to convince my mum i wasnt drinking, but its obvious i was wrecked and my mum found all this hilarious, phoned the rest of the fam to tell them this 'funny' news(couple of my grandparents were disgusted).
anyway, after this, i was on it every weekend. Ive never lost my love for the stuff since.

I suppose I was about 8 or 9 the first time I tasted alcohol. I was with my aunt and uncle, I think it was St.Patrick's Day and my uncle gave me some guinness and raspberry...world of yuck.

The first time I was rightly drunk I was 16. That's when I started going to pubs and clubs. I was out with all my friends from school some saturday night, we had been doing cocktails and shots. I don't remember it too much, not because I was drunk but just because it wasn't all that memerable. I have never had black spots where I couldn't recall what had happened. I don't get drunk alot but when I do I just get giddy and chatty, harmless fun.

First time I got properly drunk, I was 14, at a school, at night obviously, would be abit cheeky to do it during the day. We were drinking cider (white lightening, Yasss) So, did the whole spinning around whilst downing it thing, ended up pretty drunk, don't remember much, it was a walk to the bus-stop to get the last bus home and some guy had to carry me onto the bus, WHIT A LAUGH. Apparently I made it home in one piece, walked into the living room, and fell face first onto the floor, my mum and dad had a right laugh that night..pretty much loved drinking every weekend after that, especially during the summer holidays, my mum used to find me wandering about the street steaming all the time, pure rebel me.

Never touched beer since. But I have bought a few Breezers and Smirnoff Ices when I was out having fun at age 16(Yes, danish kids can buy alcohol at age 16 :D )
