I have heard that SMG made a teen-suicide PSA that was originally aired along with "I Only Have Eyes For You"... Does anyone have that clip or know where I can find it/download it? I have looked on Youtube but with no luck... thanks!

I dont sorry... but i would be interested in seeing it.
I thought it was great that they raised awareness on the subject, its a huge problem... very much so here in England at the moment.

Good luck with you search!

Not to sound stupid again, but what's a PSA?

There doesn't appear to be a surviving video anywhere on the internet, and SMG apparently only did the voice-over anyway, and didn't actually appear in the PSA.

Apparently she only did the voice over for the PSA, so it will probably be pretty tough to find - I've had a search round the net and I can find references about it but no clips of it as she didn't actually appear in it.

Edit:See that's what happens when you answer the phone in the middle of replying to a post 'lol'

I heard there was also a safe sex thing done as well for the show...apparently the network was afriad of the casual sex on the show for it's young viewers :)

Yes, I remember people complaining about Buffy's first time and how she did not appear to be using condoms. I also seem to remember SMG saying that it was ridiculous, since a 240-yer-old vampire surely was not going to beat about the bush. (Wow, that came out kind of wrong.) I also thought it was why we got that otherwise unnecessary close-up on Riley's taking a condom in the drawer, in "Where the wild things are".

True but don't forget in most lore, Vampires cannot impregnant Humans. Even according to the original Gypsy legends about Dhampirs the male Vampire was only fertile for so long after its mortal death.

When she had a Human partner, Riley, she did use it. When she was with Vampires it wouldn't matter since they're infertile and probably wouldn't have enough cellular activity to allow STD's to develop.
