Hey hey! This is me rewatching the first season of Buffy. Unlike the first time I did this, I want to try and capture what I watch here, on the forums. Hehe. Basically write down what I thought of each episode, my favorite lines, parts, etc. Similar to this thread I once started - Starting Season 5 - Buffy-Boards (http://www.buffy-boards.com/showthread.php?t=34890) without all of the smilies. ;)
Oh, and I can't believe I'm actually doing this! I still remember way more than I wanted to before rewatching it again but I can't wait any longer! So here goes everything.
Welcome To The Hellmouth
Starting out I loved seeing the camera pan through the dark school for the first time, so many cool memories came back to me. After that, bam someone is breaking in, and it's Darla. Watching it I knew it was going to happen but I didn't remember she was the first character *long lasting character* that we see on the show. Very awesome little tid bit I didn't remember! Heh, and the way she is portrayed, playing so innocent was funny as... well hell. She is so believable. If I didn't know she was a vamp I'd have jumped out of my seat. Great twist for the first thing you ever get to see on Buffy.
"Check it out?" "From the library, where the books live"
Flutie ripping up and then tapping back up Buffy's transcript - classic! Love watching it every single time I see it. Then Xander and Buffy meeting for the first time, it's so funny how close they become and yet at this point they're so far apart. Oh and the what Buffy is wearing, heh, so hot, I can see why Xander was so tongue tied.
"I'm Mr. Giles" Then he pauses, which is hilarious the way he does it and moves his hand then says "The librarian." Haha. After he pulls out the Vampire book and the music gets cold and Buffy freaks. Great scene, one of my favorites in the episode.
So far throughout the first episode Buffy character is so sweet and she even says "Wiggins!" omg, she said Wiggins!! Hehe a yay moment for me.
Ooo then there is Xander's friend, what's his name >.< I can't picture the series with him. I love what they did to him, but from what I've seen in other series he's a really good actor. Wonder what it might have been like with him.
Anyways, the guy who is stuffed in the locker, bitten by a vamp, who falls out onto the two girls who are speaking like wierdo's. While she was screaming I was laughing at the cheesy moment. Hehe!
"Isn't that Bizarre? Aren't you just going 'Ooooo' " The way SMG delivers this line is perfection Isn't a better way in my mind that she could have said it. The way she moved her body and was looking at Giles. Haha A+ great acting.
Then this epic line that comes after it. "Because you are the slayer. To each generation a slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a chosen one, one born with the strength..." Haha then Buffy cuts him off "And skill to hunt the vampires, to stop the spread of their evil blah, blah, blah." To me this scene says everything about the show. I love how Joss weaves comedy into so many amazing moments in the show. This one being another one of those moments. (Buffy meeting her new watcher etc.)
"What, you, like, sent away for the Time/Life series?"
"Oh, w-well, yes."
"Did you get the free phone?"
"Um, the calender." (okays, I'm warning you, here is a smilie!) :happy30:
Then within moments Buffy and Giles are talking about how she can't live a normal life because whoever she gets close to she could endanger. Bang! Right there is what I'm talking about with the way he can go from happy to sad to hilarious to tragic. So easily and flawlessly!
And then another surprise reveal, Xander is listening to the entire conversation!!! "What?"
Haha then irony "This is Sunndale, how bad an evil can there be here." ... The phrase l-o-l doesn't do it justice.
((Eeek this is getting a bit long, I promise to shorten the rest up a bit more, as well as the rest of this!))
"Seize the moment. Because tomorrow you might be dead."
"Ooo There's one!"
"What's your childhood trauma?"
Next we meet Angel, which was strange to say the least. So different from where he progresses through, Great to see how he started out on the show! Then we see the Master, then Darla trying to turn the kid who eventually gets turned! Hehe and Willow falling for.. a Vampire. Heh all she could get. *sad face* Can't wait for her to get Oz!! They were so beautiful together. Plus whenever I see a full moon he is all I can think about!
Loved seeing Buffy stake a vamp on screen for the first time. And he poofed a bit differently then I remember. I think they changed it eventually from what i remember. The Luke comes to kick Buffy's a-- and for some reason Darla is portrayed as so weak in this episode contrary to episodes seen down the line. Oh, heh, and the stake Luke breaks apart looks way too cheap and cheesy ;)
Great entrances to all the characters, loved how we slowly met them all.
I know they end it on a cliff hanger and I remembered it before even watching but grr! arg! *goes to listen to the commentary before watching the next episode. I love hearing Joss talk ^.^ *
Welcome To The Hellmouth - 7.5/10 *Lost some points mostly for the cheesy moments*

The Harvest - Episode 2
Knowing what they do with dusting vamps later on makes the way they slay them in the first two eps so far.. weak. Hehe, and funny. But nothing to really complain about, every show has to find its way!
Ooo! The library! I love the scenes in the library, the banter, the jokes, the research, all of it! I might be alone, but seeing this library again in research mode was classic and awesome.
"Master forgive me." I enjoyed the cut scene between the Master and the scoobies. Still not sold on Darla acting all weak, while Luke who gets tricked because he didn't know what time of day it was... after he is built up to be some old super survival vamp. Heh, besides those details, the dialogue was picture perfect!
"A slayer, do you have any proof?"
"Only that she fought me and lives." Arrogant, yet so cool.
"Oh, very nearly proof enough. I can't remember the last time that happened."
"1843, Madrid." And Buffy girl killed him by making him think it was morning! Hilarious, implausible, but I do like it.
Anyways, Buffy seems so young, they all do! I loved the bickering between her and Xander, about him being inadequate as a man. Hahaha. I love that they kept reusing that through the seasons. Always made for some good Xander eps.
When we see Angel in this episode, who appears to be standing in sun light, he seems so arrogant and young. Based on what I know that happens he's progressed so much from this episode. Or should I say from this scene in the mausoleum.
"Do you know what its like to have a friend?" Aww Angel's face at that moment was so sad!
Oh and I wanted to say something, that is obvious, but I've never said before, Buffy is really brave. Like Brave times 10, brave. I don't know many girls her age who'd go down into a dark sewer where she knows Vampire's are. Heh!
Then there's a scene with Harmony, Cordelia, and Willow. Which isn't that important to the story at all... but atleast it sets up there characters a bit more. Plus Harmony goes so so far in the Buffyverse, it's always nice to see where she came from.
Then it goes back to the sewers, where Jesse is acting, heh, like he isn't a vampire, and to anyone who hasn't seen it has to be fooled. He's a good actor. ; ) Anyways, I loved when he finally changed to Vampness. Really cool. Then afterwards when he is in the club, he is so cool, so un nerdy Jesse, he even gets Cordelia to dance with him. I'm seeing many benefits to this Vamp thing.
It was also fun to see so many of the clips they used for the opening title for this season in this and the previous episode! I always like catching that kind of stuff. A scene I'll never forget, It's not special or amazing, I' just can't seem to ever forget is when they climb out of the sewer and a vamp grabs Buffy's leg and Xander pulls her to safety, then they fall over and look at each other!!
Then there is the scene where the master pokes out his servants eye... but you don't see it. Ewwyness!!
"Hey Giles, got anything that could make this day worse?"
"How about the end of the world?"
Again Library scenes, I love. What I am not fond of yet is annoying Cordy speak. >.< But It was fun seeing Jesse get her. Then the slow mo scene that comes next, where the vamps who are all smaller than the bouncer, man handle him, and lock up the Bronze. Then she finally sees his true face! *Gasps* Haha.
"Man what's wrong with your faces?"
Jesse getting staked by Xander, coolest staking in the episode. "You don't have the guts.. uhghhh" Loved how he was dusted. Then Luke gets dusted aswell, and Buffy with another one of her one liners to taunt her victim always fun moments. Then the camera pans up to her, obviously a planned, yet very epic shot of her standing there, scaring away vampires!!!
"She did it." Loved seeing Angel for that short line, his expression of happiness and surprise. He obviously has feelings for her already.
Other than that the only other major thing I liked about this episode was the final scene. So classic. So perfect. How can you not laugh! The gang ignoring Giles and walking off talking amongst each other as Giles says "The Earth Is Doomed."
Again, this show has fantastic dialogue!
The Harvest - 7.5/10 (Again for the cheesy moments, but that's expected so early on. Still a really good second part to Welcome to the Hellmouth. Looking forward to the rest, even though an episode I hate is coming up ;) )

Ooo! The library! I love the scenes in the library, the banter, the jokes, the research, all of it! I might be alone, but seeing this library again in research mode was classic and awesome.
see, arent you glad to be back? :)
When we see Angel in this episode, who appears to be standing in sun light, he seems so arrogant and young. Based on what I know that happens he's progressed so much from this episode. Or should I say from this scene in the mausoleum.
that angel change always weirds me out. im used to the angel from angel, or even later on buffy, and this one is just so different! i think they didnt even decide he was a vampire back then!
I'm seeing many benefits to this Vamp thing.
then you'd be VAMPGOD, and kill us all mercilessly! :: vampire
Jesse getting staked by Xander, coolest staking in the episode. "You don't have the guts.. uhghhh" Loved how he was dusted.
agreed. its like, he didnt mean to kill his best friend, but he did anyway, and just like that, his vampified friend is all gone :(. plus, i didnt see it coming. well, i dont remember if i did the first time or not, but im thinking i probably wouldnt have :).
Then the camera pans up to her, obviously a planned, yet very epic shot of her standing there, scaring away vampires!!!
i  that shot!!!!!
"She did it." Loved seeing Angel for that short line, his expression of happiness and surprise. He obviously has feelings for her already.
the final scene. So classic. So perfect. How can you not laugh! The gang ignoring Giles and walking off talking amongst each other as Giles says "The Earth Is Doomed."
agreed and agreed :).

Nice posts. I've thought about doing posts like this for the past 2 weeks. I'm just starting season 3, but I had a lot of fun watching season 2 and was thinking of sharing all the parts I liked/disliked with the forum. It's amazing, sometimes the VERY little things are the parts I like the best.. could be just a look or a single line, or just a sentiment.
Laziness won out though, and I didn't do it.
Oh and I agree with the short talk between Angel and Buffy before she enters the catacombs. I think the look of sadness on Angel's face when she asked him about friends is the first time Buffy sees him as something other than just a good looking, somewhat annoying, guy. Loved her response, "That wasn't supposed to be a stumper."
Little moments like that really make the show great to me.

The Witch - Episode 3
I have never been a fan of this episode so this will be short and sweet.
A few things I liked about this episode:
Joyce ignoring Buffy when she's talking to her about trying out for cheerleading. Buffy being all wonky cheery person once under Amy's mother's spell. Amy inside of her mother, very good scenes with her mother.. being Amy well Amy.. inside her mother.. heh. I did love Xander, all things Xander in this episode. His crush, his gift, his gawking, his looking at naked pictures, hehe all of it. Also another really cool thing about this episode was.. hehe this may sound stupid but Amy's mother punched Willow!! Me=Shocked. I love when I get shocked. Also liked hearing the tid bit about "You don't have to drive it through my head like a railroad spike." from Xander to Willow. Love hearing Spike so early on in the show. Ooo and Xander mimicking a bomb falling and exploding as he failed to ask Buffy out, perfect. The coolest thing though had to be Amy's mother being trapped in the cheerleading statue. (Plus in future ep when Oz looks at the moving eyes! Haha!) Another tiny detail that isn't even important is that I liked the look of the show, it feels like it was made so long ago, yet it looks really good, I usually like the whole HD super clear awesome look, but this look of the first season looks good, to me.
"Why would someone want to hurt Cordelia?" -- "Because they met her?"
That's basically all I liked. The entire concept felt a bit weak. Not too many amazing lines.(But there were a few!) The entire cheerleading bit of the show! Not the biggest fan. Hmm the chanting of witchcraft... in the weird Amy voice. The fact that all these weird things happen right there to and in front of people and yet everything is all hunky dory the next day. There isn't too many horrible moments in the episode, I just didn't feel it. I didn't see anything good that really stands out. If I were to list everything I didn't like it would be longer than I want it to be. lol.

I'm just gonna read this instead of watching the episodes. It's too cute.
You may have gone too cold turkey on the smileys...perhaps more are in order!
I'm just SO GLAD YOU'RE BACK!
What's next more more more
The best bits of The Witch is the opening with Giles being all upset and then the cut to Buffy wearing the cheerleader outfit.
- Buffy: You don't like the color?
And SMG singing Macho Man. lol

Teacher's Pet - Episode 4
Haha I remember this as a bad episode, but I did like it this time! The beginning dream Xander was having when Buffy was in trouble and he gallantly stepped in and saved her, slaying the vampire with a toss of the stake, hahaha!! Awesome opening scene and so completely known as a dream.
Then we meet one of their teachers once he wakes up and that scene is funny as hell to. "Is there anything else Miss Rosenberg would like to tell you?" Something like that. Then afterwards when the class is over and the teacher actually shows interest and likes Buffy as a person. It goes from hilarious to so touching. Can't help but love the scene.
"But I suspect it's going to be great?"
"You mean great in a bad way?"
Aww and then he smiles, and compliments her, she smiles too. So sweet. Come on I feel a happy moment coming on people, smile!! "The home work thing"
"And please don't listen to the principal or anyone else's negative opinion about you. Lets make them eat that permanent record."
Buffy's face. *Tear worthy happy* Loved it.
Then... aww, he dies. *Tear worthy sad*
"Xander how many times did you score."
"Are we talking now or the whole weak."
Love Xander's lines. "Blake tried to question my manliness, just trying to give him a visual." As he hugs Buff and Will, then Willow starts rubbing him! "We'll show him!" Hehe!
Ooo and I loved Willows eyes in this episode, and at this part of the scene when she's looking at Zander before Buffy walks over to Angel.
Angel actually looking and sounding like the Angel I remember with his wife beater and jacket! Xander so jealous! "He's a very attractive man, how come that never came up."
But Buffy and Angels relationship really starts out strong in this scene. He gives her his jacket, being all good guy Angel. So sweet. Then they cut back to Xander being jealous again! "Oh right, give her your jacket. It's a balmy night. No one needs to be trading clothing out there." Haha, I love how jealous he is, and how open he is about it with Willow, yet never really acts on it in the ep.
The scene after this when they are outside the school, Willow looks like a goddess. Just saying. And when she looks at Xander she is so cute! And I don't even think it's meant to be that way it's just how she's doing it. So beautiful.
Back to the episode story, this is when we finally meet the bad guy.. or girl.. or well.. bug lady thing. Who just happens to be an overly attracted women who makes Xander tongue tied! Heh.
Buffy comes in and sees Dr. Gregory's glasses on the floor cracked, and puts them on his desk. Sad, but she doesn't know he's dead yet.
Nothing special happens again until they find the headless teacher in the cafeteria closet..and then the scoobies go back to the library and Buffy has tears down her face! So sad *huggles*
Then Buffy goes hunting for the bad guy! Only to find a vampire, which is scared of the real bad guy. Which is cheesy, but whatever it worked for the story ... I guess. He sees the hot teacher, what's her name and runs away, Buffy figures out she must be a badass.
After that she and Giles are talking, he compliments the hottie, by saying she;s a hottie.. hehe. Basically. Anyway it was funny.
"I think I lost like 7.5 ounces...way swifter than that so called diet that quack put me on. Oh, I'm not saying that we should kill a teacher every day just so I can loose weight. I'm just saying that when tragedy strikes, we have to look on the bright side you know?"
Nothing exciting happens, to me atleast. "Where are the books on bugs." Buffy starts to look for what she really is. Xander goes to see her and gets persuaded.. as if he needed persuasion to go to the teachers house to work on some project.
"He's got a crush on a giant Insect!" Xander's way with women from this point on, always the same, haha!
Then Buff goes to persuade him that she's a bug he says she's jealous and he snaps at her. "An actual women finds me attractive. "What kind of girly name is Angel anyway?" Hehe! See Xander won this episode over for me. That and the final moments of this episode.
Xander and Miss French then talk about how he is a Virgin, which to me is hilariously embarrassing. "You might say I need it." Wow. Sluttly bug. "Your hands are so hot!" Then Xander flashed back to the dream he had about Buffy "I love Buffy."
"Would you like to touch me with those hands?" - S l u .. t
Haha! Then Xander passes out, drugged i assume.
Next we see Buffy and Willow finding out that she is a praying mantis but the icky color pictured coroners report and that she bites off heads during.. sex.
"Xander I like his head. It's where you find his eyes ad his hair and his adorable smile." Aww I love that will cares about him soo much!
Xander and the other guy is trapped in the cage and start freaking out!
Then there is Buffy saying "Xander's not uh.. uh... I mean he's probably--" "Gunna die!" Willow cuts in
Then they go to find Miss French and find out she's an old women. And that the Mantis could be anywhere!
Back to cage with Xander and the second guy! Xander tries to escape but gets stopped.. and strapped down.
After Buffy goes to find Xander she uses the Vampire to track him/ mantis lady down.. implausible and stupid much, hehe, whatever, it works.
Buff finds Xander, plays the bat sonar.. screws up plays the wrong side, hehe prolongs the fight.. forcing Buffy to tussle with the mantis lady until she finally plays the right side, then hacks the teach, to pieces.
Lastly I liked the final Angel/Buffy scene "Anyway you can have your jacket back." "It looks better on you." "Oh boy.."
Oh one major plot hole that they seemed to miss, If she only goes after virgins... then she couldn't have went after/ shouldn't have went after Buffy's teacher!! Ah, Miss French. Then they start keeping an eye on her, but not before fluttie steps in and makes Buffy go to see a counselor. We get to see Cordelia talking to the guy, being her usual Cordy self.
Edit: Also forgot to mention the scene where Buffy picks up the teachers cracked glasses and puts them away, matched with the music was so beautiful.
Teacher's Pet - 8/10

Never kill a boy on the first date - Episode 5
"We haven't been introduced, I'm Buffy and you're....dead!"
"Poor technique"
"It should simply be plunge and move on, plunge and move on."
Haha I did like the Giles Buffy banter this episode. And the transitions in this ep were really well done to. I like how they use the good guy joke, or saying something and then it being ironic as they go to the next scene on the baddie side. Always funny to me.
Ooo and the Opening Sequence! I must not have been paying attention with the other episodes but I saw it this time, always like watching it. And it always changed each season so it was nice seeing this one.
"Two points by the slayer, and the watcher has yet to score!" - Buffy to Giles.
Buffy's schoolgirl crush in this episode was cute, nice choice.. I guess, but still strange to see Buffy so love struck. I forget sometimes that she is a schoolgirl >.>
"Buffy how'd the slaying go last night?"
"Xander!!"
"I mean how'd the laying go... no I don.."
"The dark forces are aligning against us and we have a chance to beat them back. Tonight we go into battle."
Awesome scary epic music, dun dun dun... scene change, all quiet there in the cemetery. "Perhaps I miscalculated."
Hahaha!!
"I'm thinking yes."
"What was I supposed to tell him, that I was waiting for a vampire to rise so I could prevent an evil prophesy from coming to pass?" -Buffy
" - Or flat tire?" - Xander
Hehe I'm basically just listing quotes I enjoyed from this episode. I did really enjoy Xander's jealousy in this episode, he keeps wanting the Buff! Hehe. Loved Owen's old pocket watch and Xander looks down at his tweetie bird one! Hehehe! Always great moments when Xander is around. Now i know why he was my favorite character until Oz showed up.
"Hello salty goodness." -Cordelia likes Angel the moment she lays eyes on him.. hehe of course all Angel cares about is Buffy and gets nervous and shy when she says she is on a Date with Owen. So cute.
"Hey."
"Hey."
The rest of the story seemed a bit dull to me.. well this episode felt that way. Although something big story wise happens in this episode and the twist at the end is really really good, I didn't like this episode. Not too much more to say about it.. Is there? If there is feel free to jump in and let me know why you liked it. :)
The only other thing I can think about is, wow little kids can be Vampires? Eeek!

at least it works out for him eventually ;)

So what was youre fave episode then?
This next one and the finale.
The Pack - Episode 6
Episode starts out with Buffy at the Zoo, some bully picking on her for being alone, "Oh look it's Buffy and all her friends." and then those bullies go on there evil way to go bully another, weaker kid. Not very nice kids. They keep picking on him until Fluttie comes along, and then asks Lance the kid being picked on if they were picking on him... of course he says no and then they pretend to be his friends and go off to check the Hiena house. That's how the ep starts hehe.
Then Buff Will and Xander see them going in and Xander stands up being all half manly Xander and says he'll go in after them! Buffy and Willow try and follow him in but the Hiena keeper comes out and tells them a scary story about Hiena's and that these hiena's are said to be cursed. Heh, he was kidding... and yet he wasn't.
Inside the mean evil kids grab Lance and try to feed him to the Hiena's. The X man stops them but not before the cursed Hiena's lay there eyes upon them. Turning the mean kids, and Xander into laughing Human Hiena people thingies.. you get it. I loved the smirk Xander gives to the camera as Lance falls to the floor running away from them. Completely different character from that moment on.
Strange thing is all of the mean kids, are all played buy actors that I've seen in other things and all of these actors sides one I thought was really really good! Great casting for this episode for sure.
Willow and Buffy start talking about guys in the bronze. Willow about Xander, Buffy about Angel. "Alright he's a honey!" Hehe Buffy is already crushing. When Willow spots Xander enter and says "There he is." and Buffy nearly jumps and says "Angel?" Haha!! Loving it. Whedon is a god.
Xander starts acting a bit weird in front of them, even smells Buffy, "And the weird behavior award goes too..." At this point Xander is still gone completely at the dark side yet still trying to pretend he is himself as he laughs at the mean kids making fun of a fat kid.
A weird scene that I didn't love was watching Herberts POV running down the hallway and then into Buffy's arm. Not a very good scene, but it was needed to actually let people know there was a mascot for later on in this story.
While at school Xander is still hanging with Willow and is getting a bit pissed off by all of the studying and the fact that he can't get anything Willow is trying to teach him. Anyway more weirdness, slowly showing everyone that Xander has changed... even though they established that in the opener.. hehe.
Ooo and they play a game of Dodge ball in gym! I remember my school decided that dodge ball was to violent. Boo them. Anyways after Xander smacks his best friend Willow hard with a ball and she is out of the game, one by one everyone is knocked out except all of the mean hiena kids, Buffy, and Lance... on the side with the mean kids. Buffy being Alpha girl the Hiena's decide to instead turn on their weak link Lance and they all throw their dodge balls at him! Uh! Mean much. They all start cackling in that evil way they do and Buffy comes over to help Lance to his feet! The looks and glares these Hiena people give are so perfect and mean and powerful. Hehe, and the music aswell as these lines made me love this entire scene so freaking much. "God this game is brutal. I love it." Yay Gym coach man!
Anyway this when Xander finally walks off and joins with the mean kids for all to see. Then he pretend to tell Willow he likes her and actually tells her he hates her and "I won't have to look at your pasty face again." Aww *sad face* They all start laughing as Willow runs away. Then Buffy comes over and they all get quiet, "You going to say something to me." then they start laughing at her too. This is when Buffy knows something is finally wrong.
The next scene a bit strange, a bit mean, a bit not loving, but it sets the tone for how much they have changed. Walking over peoples lunches, taking their food, hehe and then finally finding Herbert the mascot and Eating him alive! The eww factor comes to mind, but it was awesome.
The next scene is my favorite. Xander and the mean kids are in slow mo walking across campus, licking their 'paws' scratching there chins, looking for prey, walking past people, all done with the perfect scoring. I mean this episode all around sounded phenomenal. Best scene in the episode and not a line is spoken. I love how a show like this can do that when so much of the show is based around Joss's awesome dialog.
After that Willow is crying because of what Xander said to her and Buffy tries to control her. Willow is so sweet and beautiful, whenever she cries how can you not aswell?
"They prey on the weak." Buffy and Giles talk about it and somehow Buffy manages to pull out of thin air exactly what has happened to Xander! "What are you going to do?" "Get my books... look stuff up." Love those quirky little Giles lines.
Another thing I loved about this episode was that they showed so much of Principal Fluttie in this, his final episode. Sucks that they had to kill him, but the fact that they did, it's so gross and out there that it fits so well. Sad scene when they're pushing him around, start scratching him and then pounce, and we see them start to eat him as the camera pans to a happy picture of him on his desk. *sad face* Great scene. "What are you doing?"
Then the cut scene to that is Xander pushing around and trying to control Buffy. And of course Buffy is breathing as if she was having sex... haha. Wierd, but hot. Xander starts saying the meanest things and pushes her up against the soda machine and starts talking dirty to her! Nicholas is such an amazing actor. Sarah Michelle Gellar is too hehe but I still can't get passed the faces she was making while he held her.. similar to the faces she made when Spike used to *naughty* her.
Anyway back to Flutie whimpering and crying and that perfect shot of his happy photo as he is being eaten alive. ::crying2:
"They didn't hurt him did they?"
"They ate him."
"They ate Principal Flutie?"
This point on .. this was my first time viewing this part. *Admits it* I don't now why but I never saw the last 1/4th of this episode. Glad that I had the chance to though it has always been one of my favorites from this season.
The next scene the Hiena people are sleeping outside and growl at a woman and her baby as they walk buy. So scary I thought they were going to eat them! Eeek! Their eyes were so weird looking too. Then back to Xander lieing to Willow, great actor acting that he's acting.. haha whatever I liked it. "I wanted to be here to see if you were still you." "You know I am. Look at me." "Look." "Xander.." Sweet innocent Willow voice, and then he tries to grab her. Bad Xander, bad!
This next bit came out of the blue to me, the zoo keeper man was the one who set this all up but wanted this to actually happen to him? Wow, have I been living in the dark. The rest wasn't anything too spectacular. Giles and the keeper set a trap, Buffy goes to rescue Willow who is with Xander at the school because she realizes they will go after Xander. She then leads them back to the zoo... all the while Giles is played the fool and when Willow gets there the keeper grabs her and ties her up and she is confused as I am at this point! "Uh right you'll pretend to slash my throat and put the evil in the hiena's..." "Something like that." Finally Buffy arrives and the man says some words and the Hiena power is transfered into him. Very weird part to this episode. Not my favorite if you get my drift.
Xander dives and rescues Willow from the Hiena man Keeper then Buffy tosses the guy into the Hiena pit to get eaten after a 5 second fight scene. Heh. Woo. Scene ends and Xander starts pretending he doesn't remember anything that he did, Giles calls him on it and they both vow to not tell the girls. Haha. :lmao: "Your secret dies with me." Loved Giles grin at the end as the X man walks away rubbing his head!
The Pack - 9/10 Great episode.
Eeek and wow, I just read through my starting season 5 thread and this is nothing at all like it. Maybe I'm going into too much story detail here, hehe. The other one was short, simple to the point and just told you what I liked, and it didn't take forever to write :p

This next one and the finale.
yay! :woot: i liked 'the pack' a lot, but i heard from quite a few BBers who didnt in the past!
Xander stands up being all half manly Xander
half manly, hehe :lmao:
I loved the smirk Xander gives to the camera as Lance falls to the floor running away from them
for banners ive made, and even videos ive seen, i can say that there are definitely great shots of xander in this ep that are made for this! :) there are so many close-ups where he gives such smiles, yeah? and then that part at the bronze where it zooms in on him? perfect for a vid! :D
I love it." Yay Gym coach man!
it is a good scene. i have nothing particularly special to say on it other than that :).
Then he pretend to tell Willow he likes her and actually tells her he hates her and "I won't have to look at your pasty face again." Aww *sad face* They all start laughing as Willow runs away.
After that Willow is crying because of what Xander said to her and Buffy tries to control her. Willow is so sweet and beautiful, whenever she cries how can you not aswell?
aww, poor sad willow
The next scene is my favorite. Xander and the mean kids are in slow mo walking across campus, licking their 'paws' scratching there chins, looking for prey, walking past people, all done with the perfect scoring. I mean this episode all around sounded phenomenal. Best scene in the episode and not a line is spoken. I love how a show like this can do that when so much of the show is based around Joss's awesome dialog.
you make videos, right? i have a recommendation of what you should make next......;)
This point on .. this was my first time viewing this part. *Admits it* I don't now why but I never saw the last 1/4th of this episode. Glad that I had the chance to though it has always been one of my favorites from this season.

i love willow in that part! :D xander too, but hello, its his episode! of course its all about the xander-love! :silly:
nice review, but how could you not put in my very favourite quote of the episode!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :jawdrop:
GILES: Xander's taken to teasing the less fortunate?
BUFFY: Yes.
GILES: There's been a noticeable change in both clothing and demeanor?
BUFFY: Uh-huh.
GILES: And otherwise all his spare time is spent lounging about with imbeciles?
BUFFY: It's bad, isn't it?
GILES: It's devastating. He's turned into a sixteen year old boy. 'Course you'll have to kill him.

hm...well, i think its cool both ways. its fun reading extended comments, but then i also end up staying online longer than i should be (as i am doing now :p) to read and respond to them :). i guess maybe take out the summary stuff, the stuff we can tell just by watching the episode? for instance, saying the hyena-man was bad just as a statement, there is no need to include. if we watched the episode, we already knew that. its only included if you're saying, 'wow, i was shocked because i didnt realize that he was bad' as a comment, like you did above. thats my two cents anyway :D.

Angel - Episode 7
Still loving the fact that the anointed one is just a little boy. Very creepy. "I'd annihilate her." Nice kid.
One thing that I hated about this episode was "The Three" Ooo so they are so revered and scary that Buffy and Angel fight em off, live, maybe a cut or two hehe but live!
Come on! Why talk about powerful characters and then bring them in to die in ten minutes... Not very fun for me to watch. And the fact that they just sit and let Darla kill them.
If I was a vampire I would turn around, grab the bit**es stake and kill the master! Why do Vampires follow people who would have them killed after they've been alive for so long. I never understood that.
Another thing.. the vampires are all three wearing armor. Why don't all vampires lay on some armor.. so they don't have a possibility of being staked. Hehe I don't know why things like this are brought up and then never really seen again.
"A vampire can't come in unless it is invited. Then how in hell did the vampire stick his hand through the door. I remember Spike trying to get in and bouncing back...
Anyways enough about what I didn't like! Here is what I loved! : Angel and Buffy! Bangel!
I loved the scene between her and Angel when he takes his shirt off and they are so close. Love Angels smiles and how Buffy looks at him. So cute.
"Mom this is Angel." Hehe I love how much Buffy is trying to get her mother upstairs before she sees Angel and he just walks out of the shadow and says hi. Hehe!
I can just imagine what Joyce is thinking as she walks up the stairs! :lmao:
Up in Buffy's bedroom I love their chemistry. The looks the eyes, the kiss(later on in the episode up there!) "You even look pretty when you go to sleep."
Such a happy moment between the two of them when she sleeps in her bed and he sleeps on the floor inches away from her. Aww.
Then the next day, Xander being jealous man, Willow being all happy girl, Buffy being all woo-ed. "Did he a.. did you a.." "Perfect gentlemen." So cute how they talk to each other. Willow's smile mm perfection!
"It's the oldest trick in the book."
"What saving my life, getting slashed in the ribs?"
"Duh!" Haha I love Xander.
Another funny scene was between Giles and Buffy and their training. "Good lets move on with the crossbow"
Okay here is my favorite scene! It is up in Buffy's bedroom again. It is so hilarious, so beautiful and omg they kiss!!
"So what did you do all day?"
"I read a little..." Haha and the way Angel moves his head and that smile what else was Buffy supposed to think!! "and just thought about a lot of things. Buffy I.."
"My diary? You read my diary?!" "Hunk can mean a lot of things, bad things and -- and when it said your eye are penetrating, I meant to right Bulging."
Buffy is so cute when she tries to lie. "Buffy.."
"The A doesn't even stand for Angel for that matter. It stands for Achmed a charming foreign exchange student so that whole fantasy part has nothing to even do with you at all."
Haha and Angel is basically laughing at this point. "Your mother moved your diary when she came in to straighten up. I watched her from the closet. I didn't read it. I swear."
"Oh.. OH!"
And then they look into each other eye's so entranced and kiss!! Their first kiss! So beautiful, and then.. oh noes! Buffy's cross, Angel's vampireness kaboom! He changes she screams like a little girl and her mom comes in. Aww.
Next scene Giles explains that there can't be any good vampires.. but from what we see later on that can change. Of course Xander wants her to kill Angel. "You're in love with a vampire what are you out of your mind?" Haha
Of course Cordelia goes "What." Xander starts to babble on to her and Cordelia wasn't even going what over that but over what some outfit a girl was wearing.
Loved the first scene between Darla and Angel. So dark, strange, Darla all hot and horny for him, Angel all Buffy love struck.
"Guess what precious, you're not one of them, are you."
"I'm not exactly one of you either."
Love the past history they have and that they are finally talking to each other after so much time.
Another scene I loved was when Willow says uh I can't remember what but it was about Buffy/Angel and the diary thingie. Everything during this scene that occurred in was great.
All the dialog between all of our character, aswell as the history we get of Angelus. Great scene.
"Angel he was the most viscous creature I ever met I miss him."
"So do I."
I know the master is evil, and I shouldn't love his character. But he's so twisted and funny, that I can't not like him!
"Sometimes I have this fantasy that Xander is just going to grab me and kiss me right on the lips." The words aww and aww don't express how much I loved when she said that.
Another thing I didn't even notice until right now is that Darla is watching them in the library. Oh boy how pissed she must have been when she found out Angel and Buffy kissed.
She then of course goes to meet Buffy's mom. Which was awesome. Pretending to be a little schoolgirl was so cute. "My family kind of goes back to those days."
Then Joyce invites her in! "Would you like something to eat?"
"Yes, I would."
"Would you like something little or something big?"
(I love how it was shot! Joyce not even knowing she was all Vampirey from behind her.)
"Something Big." Ah Darla. As I said above I love the way she is standing behind her ready to eat..her! Hehehe
After she is "bitten" she screams Angel comes a running and catches her. The oh noes Buffy comes in. Her face, Wow just wow. Perfect.
I love how afterwards Darla and Angel are talking to each other, well Darla is still talking, and Angel hasn't killed her!
"You're hurting me. That's good to." By not killing her at this point it's obvious he loved her at one time.
Anyways when Buffy finds Angel that was cool .. and weird aswell. Angel runs about all Vampire faced and basically almost lets her kill him, and she doesn't!
"I've killed alot of Vampires I never hated one before." Aww she thinks she hates Angel! And the way Angel responds, how can she not! So arrogant, so Angelus like ya know.
"You have no idea what it's like to have done the things I've done and to care." 10/10. Hehe.
"I can walk like a man but I'm not one."
What I hated, and loved. "To love someone who doesn't love you." Darla was great this episode. All the characters seem to be great in their seemingly last episode.
Then the gun thing. "Scary. Scarier!" She then talks with like some f-ed up country accent. lols. Idk it was a weird part of this scene.
Ooo and a gun that doesn't run out of ammo... Hated.
What I did love was when Angel staked it. It was so sad, so tragic, "Oh, Angel..." Aww!! And she says it in the sweetest, saddest, I love you Angel voice.
I couldn't believe he would kill her. I can believe it at this point in the series but not after she is flushed out later on.
Loved how the Master felt once Angel killed Darla even he was heartbroken by it.
Final scene:
Angel, Buffy, a kiss, a cross, Beautiful. I loved it.
"For one thing you're like 224 years older than I am."
"One of us has to go here..."
"I know.."
*The kiss* ... and they keep kissing.
"As long as they are not kissing." Haha Xander.
"You okay?"
"It's just.. painful. I know."
"See you around?"
And he has her cross burned into his skin.
Angel - 9/10

Great review. Angel may be my favorite from season 1.
I love this scene too! Buffy is just so cute trying to lie... and how embarassed she is when she thinks all her secret fantasies have been exposed to the guy that she was writing about.
I couldn't believe he would kill her. I can believe it at this point in the series but not after she is flushed out later on.
I think about that everytime I watch this as well... I keep thinking, "If they had done this after they wrote Angel Season 2, Darla's death by Angel's hand would have been MUCH more dramatic."

One thing that I hated about this episode was "The Three" Ooo so they are so revered and scary that Buffy and Angel fight em off, live, maybe a cut or two hehe but live!
Come on! Why talk about powerful characters and then bring them in to die in ten minutes... Not very fun for me to watch.
in a word, agreed :). in more words (:p), they should have either made less of a big deal out of them, or made it a harder/longer fight with buffy and angel to prove the three were all they were said to be, even if they lost the fight that time.
Why do Vampires follow people who would have them killed after they've been alive for so long. I never understood that.
um...good question. to have a hand in killing the slayer? maybe the master was offering some sort of reward if they succeeded?
Another thing.. the vampires are all three wearing armor. Why don't all vampires lay on some armor.. so they don't have a possibility of being staked. Hehe I don't know why things like this are brought up and then never really seen again.
another good point. i have no answer, or even fanwank, for this one :silly:.
Anyways enough about what I didn't like! Here is what I loved! : Angel and Buffy! Bangel!
Up in Buffy's bedroom I love their chemistry. The looks the eyes, the kiss(later on in the episode up there!) "You even look pretty when you go to sleep."
Such a happy moment between the two of them when she sleeps in her bed and he sleeps on the floor inches away from her. Aww.
:: red :: < (as a side note, its much more convinient to use the ones i know the codes for, such as that one :D)
"Hunk can mean a lot of things, bad things and -- and when it said your eye are penetrating, I meant to right Bulging."
"The A doesn't even stand for Angel for that matter. It stands for Achmed a charming foreign exchange student so that whole fantasy part has nothing to even do with you at all."
hehe, defensive buffy. i love that line. :lmao:
And then they look into each other eye's so entranced and kiss!! Their first kiss! So beautiful, and then.. oh noes! Buffy's cross, Angel's vampireness kaboom!
awesome scene with the vampire kaboom, and one of the classic and best bangel kisses! hehe, i sound like such a hard-core bangelite! you need to get to spike so i can prove im truly 50/50 :p.
Loved the first scene between Darla and Angel. So dark, strange, Darla all hot and horny for him, Angel all Buffy love struck.
Love the past history they have and that they are finally talking to each other after so much time.
this is the first time it even implies their history, yeah? maybe they didnt get into that before because they didnt know he was a vampire yet, and thus couldnt decide that he and she had a history. i wonder what wouldve happened if he hadnt killed her here......:thought:. things would have changed a bunch on angel, thats for sure :).
Oh boy how pissed she must have been when she found out Angel and Buffy kissed.
wow, that thought never even crossed my mind, hehe. i was always just thinking she was up there scheming; never wondered what she'd think of the big bangel kiss...
After she is "bitten" she screams Angel comes a running and catches her. The oh noes Buffy comes in. Her face, Wow just wow. Perfect.
exactly. perfect execution. but aww, so sad :(! im always like 'buffy, don't let your eyes decieve you!!!!!!!' hehe.
"You have no idea what it's like to have done the things I've done and to care." 10/10. Hehe.
"I can walk like a man but I'm not one."
mhm, mhm. classic quoteage :).
I couldn't believe he would kill her. I can believe it at this point in the series but not after she is flushed out later on.
hm...i think i disagree with this. there were a lot of factors changed when she crossed over to angel. but, i dont think those are all factors that would make him less likely to kill her here. i think some would even make him more likely. just for one example, he didnt have buffy anymore when he went to LA, but here he loved buffy, and as an added bonus, buffy was in danger because of darla. i think, even knowing what i know from angel, him actually killing her here was realistic.
And he has her cross burned into his skin. love it, love it, love it. so sweet!
Angel - 9/10 a well deserved rating if there ever was one :D.
((Likie this way better?))
if you're asking me, then yes :). i like how you included more of your thoughts and less summary. it was interesting to read. i only wish i had more interesting things to say in response :p.
and Dlou, i had so many smileys this time, the smiley limit made me take some out! i dont think it can get better than that.....(i regret the inability to have a smiley right here).

I Robot... You, Jane - Episode 8
Wow just wow. Yep that is all I am willing to say. This was an actual Buffy episode. Eww.
The only thing I liked was Giles and the teacher lady's chemistry , innuendo and attraction to one another. Very fun to watch.
"Well I don't dangle a cork screw from my ear."
"That's not where I'd dangle it."
Also "The smell" "Smell is the most powerful trigger to the memory there is." I loved his philosophy towards computers! It was so Giles!
That and I also enjoyed the final scene between Buffy Willow and Xander. These next lines would echo throughout the rest of the series.
"Lets face it none of us are ever going to have a happy normal relationship."
"We're doomed."
"Yeah."
They are all laughing, and then slowly realize they are all doomed!! Hehe!
Please help me if I missed anything. :lmao:
I Robot... You, Jane - 4/10
Edit:
The Puppet Show - Episode 9
I loved this episode.
The idea behind it was so well planned out. There were so many ways it could have gone that it made even the watcher guess who was what.
Loved it!
Loved Principal Snyder listening in on Buffy and gang and making them join the talent show.
"Real anti social types." Hehehe and once he tells them they are to join the talent show.
"What?" "No!" "Please!" Hilarious scene and have I mentioned I love the actor who plays Snyder!
Arman Shimmerman(sp) Is an amazing actor! Anyone who hasn't seen Deep space Nine go run off and watch him as Quark.
"I saw a dummy it gave me the wig.. there really wasn't a story there." I love how this show is comfortable doing that without flushing out a real reason.
Snyder talking to Giles on the way in was funny, and serious all at the same time. Hilariously done. Why I love the character.
Principal Snyder: "That's the kind of wooly: headed liberal thinking that leads to being eaten.
Principal Snyder: "There are things I will not tolerate: students loitering on campus after school, horrible murders with hearts being removed... and also smoking."
Giles: "My investigation is somewhat hampered by a life in the theatre.
Buffy: "Uh, priority check, Giles... talent show... murder!
Cordy: "Eh, What?"
Giles: "Oh, I'm sorry. Um, your hair, uh--"
Cordy: "There's something wrong with my hair? Oh, My God." :lmao:
Giles: "Xander was right, it worked like a charm."
Loved Sids character as well. It's so fun to think he is a bad guy for half the episode.
Ooo hehe and how the gang didn't even think he was 'alive' for half the episode too!
I really liked how we found out he was alive and Xander jumps screaming when he is missing and Giles looks down and screams at his own feet too. Best scene in the episode!!!
Really enjoyed when Buffy caught sid and they finally came to the realization they were on the same side.
Still throughout the episode that is in question , which is why I loved it.
Ooo and the Horny dummy thing, priceless. Who doesn't love a horny dummy!
Sid: "Look at you, you're strong, athletic, limber... nubile... I'm back.
Buffy: "So that horny dummy thing really isn't an act, is it?
Sid: "Nope.
Buffy: "Yuck.
Buffy: "This means whatever's out there still needs a healthy, intelligent brain.
Xander: "In other words, I'm safe!
I didn't even see the magician guy as the bad guy until he was the bad guy. It was really great watching a mystery unravel.
We even get to see Snyder in the shadows and are even fooled into believing he might be responsible!
"Form the power circle!" I loved how the puppet knew what a power circle was and Giles didn't.
It was really strange, yet fun, to watch Giles be so stupid while being so smart.
"Gee Mr. Giles you're really smart. Can you help me?"
"Giles can handle himself, he is really... smart."
"What exactly is the trick?" "Trick?" "Mark, ma ma.. Mark.." Hehehee
Getting tied up and placed under a guillotine and almost getting his head chopped up.
Great little part of this story and I really liked watching it... up until the boy turned into the weird looking monster that Buffy killed easily. But it was cool seeing him die through his own creation.
Aww and Sid stabbing the demon in the heart and falling over dead. Aww!! Then Buffy picked him up and the curtain opens!
Principal Snyder: "I don't get it. What is it, avant-garde?
During the end credits when the gang does their little play, Freaking drop dead bring tears to your eyes funny can't describe it!!
Willow runs away and Xander puts on a stupid grin while Buffy fills the gap and places her hand on him.
I'm glad shot it! So we could die laughing!
Last little tid bit: "Everyone look at me like I'm in a bunny suit because that;s how stupid I fell saying this."
Oh yea, they mentioned a Bunny suit. *Hugs Anya* Hehe can't wait to get that far down the road.
The Puppet Show - 8/10
Edit:
Nightmares - Episode 10
Not my favorite episode. But not horrible either. Very strange.
Blow through this one hehe I really want to start watching Season 2, and must finish writing about these episodes first!
Hehe. Sorries if it becomes a little short. I'll be making a huge one about the finale : king :
I loved the idea behind the episode, and all of the nightmares that everyone started to experience.
Giles not being able to read was sad, and seeing his fear of his slayer dieing too.
Willow fearing spiders and when they appeared all over Wnder scared me too.
I would sooner kill myself than have that happen to me!
"It's funny if you're me."
Cordelia with her hair and chess team was hilarious!
Xander fearing that he would be naked infront of class out of the blue and running away! Great fear!
Xander with his clown was weird and I would run too if a crazy clown with a knife was chasing me!
Aww and Buffy, sweet Buffy turning into a vampire. Saddest thing in the entire episode was seeing how much she was afraid of that, and how much it hurt her.
And before that when she feared why her parents broke up and her dad said it was because of her. ::crying2:
Buffy also having no idea what the answers were to a history test, weakest of all the fears hehe.
Oh that and Willow being afraid of singing which isn't that weak it's just scary to be up there infront of everyone for sure.
Not as scary as being chased by a murdering clown... but hey, still scary.
Best fear was Buffy's. Seeing her as a vampire, she is so sad in this scene. It is so hard to watch!
Ooo and great for a music video! Hehe
Anyways I'm never the biggest fan of 75% of these episodes where they are leading up to a big bad fight and she easily kicks there butts after a minute scene, usually less.
But they actually had more after that with the whole "Lucky 19" thing.
"He's awake." "What?"
"You said it was my fault that we lost."
Just wow that a guy put that kid into a coma. Bastard.
A few great lines in the episode:
Xander: "Um our dreams are coming true."
Giles: "Dreams? That would be a musical comedy version of this." *wink * *wink* *wink*
Giles: "Willow, do shut up."
Xander: It'll be faster if we split up to look for her.
Giles: Good idea.
Willow: Uh, faster, but not really safer.
Vampire Buffy: Well, we better hurry... 'cause I'm getting hungry.
Xander: That is a... joke, right?
Buffy: That was kinda heroic Xander, grabbing him and all.
Willow: When Buffy was a vampire, you weren't still, like, attracted to her, were you?
Xander: Willow, how can you... I mean, that's really bent! She was... grotesque!
Willow: Still dug her, huh?
Xander: I'm sick, I need help.
Willow: Don't I know it.
Nightmares - 7/10
I Robot... You, Jane - Episode 8
Please help me if I missed anything. :lmao:
You missed my favourite scene.
Buffy: I get your point. Oh, this guy could be anybody. He could be weird, or crazy, or old, or... He could be a circus freak. He's probably a circus freak!
The delivery by SMG is so great. I love how she gets from could be to probably.
I have understand that many don't like this episode but I think it's great.
Might just be me liking to see Willow the computer nerd :)

ooh, three. this makes me happy :D. at first i just saw nightmares and thought 'how did he end up skipping two of them?!?!?!?!?' :p
Also "The smell" "Smell is the most powerful trigger to the memory there is." I loved his philosophy towards computers! It was so Giles!
great scene. you sum it up perfectly when you say its "so giles" :).
Please help me if I missed anything. :lmao:
hm...let me think. well, i feel like you're missing something, but i cant think of a thing, so perhaps you're not :silly:.
There were so many ways it could have gone that it made even the watcher guess who was what.
hehe, mysteries sometimes bug me, but perhaps that's 'cause im so bad at solving them :). anyway, i agree. it was well-thought out, and that made it good, 'cause it kept me guessing and trying to figure out who the bad guy was. sometimes, i watch it again after not having seen it, and i still cant remember all the twists! :D
Principal Snyder: "That's the kind of wooly: headed liberal thinking that leads to being eaten.
to snyder, 'and how do you die, again?' :p. ah, irony.
"Giles can handle himself, he is really... smart."
hehe, lightbulb moment :lightbulb. (there is a lightbulb smiley! im so pleased! :D)
During the end credits when the gang does their little play, Freaking drop dead bring tears to your eyes funny can't describe it!!
Willow runs away and Xander puts on a stupid grin while Buffy fills the gap and places her hand on him.
I'm glad shot it! So we could die laughing!
:lmao: :fighting1
Xander with his clown was weird and I would run too if a crazy clown with a knife was chasing me!
you didnt think him facing his fear and punching out the crazy clown was a great xander moment? : erm : or you just didnt mention it?
Aww and Buffy, sweet Buffy turning into a vampire. Saddest thing in the entire episode was seeing how much she was afraid of that, and how much it hurt her.
Ooo and great for a music video! Hehe

Okay here is the sitch, I can watch all the rest of the episodes, make a review like this for all 100 some odd episodes there are, or I could finish off with season one, start getting clips from season one, then 2 and so on until I have enough to make some music videos. Hehe what do ya think? Last time I only reviewed season 5! I guess every time I rewatch it I'll review a season at random :lmao: Hehe no?
Edit:
Out of Mind, Out of Sight - Episode 11
Fun little concept, bad little episode.
I did like that the girl went invisible because everyone was ignoring her. Really sad, until she starts hurting people, and laughing.
Then you just start to hate her for hurting Buffy and Cordy, as well as Harmony, that weird kid cordy was dating etc.
The ending was great too when the men in black take her off, haha and she goes to an 'invisible' school and learns to become an assassin! Awesome, hilarious, and weird!
Still, the episode just felt a little weak to me.
A couple small lines I did enjoy:
SNYDER: Dead? Of course not. What are you, ghouls? There are no dead students here. This week. Clear back, make room, all of you.
Giles: A girl on campus with the ability to become invisible.
Xander: That is so cool!
Willow: Cool?
Xander: Well, yeah, I would give anything to be able to turn invisible. Well, I wouldn't use my powers to beat people up, but I'd use my powers to protect the girls' locker room.
Giles: There's an...invisible girl terrorizing the school.
Angel: That's not really my area of expertise.
Giles: Nor mine, I'm afraid. Uh, it's fascinating, though. By all accounts it's a, a... a wonderful power to possess.
Angel: Oh, I don't know. Looking in the mirror every day and seeing nothing there. It's an overrated pleasure.
Now this is why I actually enjoyed part of the episode. I loved Cordelia in it. Eek I can't believe I just said that!
But it's true, Cordelia was picture perfect throughout this episode.
I especially loved how we get to see a much more human side to Cordelia at this point that I know will become more apparent in future episodes.
Really fun to watch and she delivered some tremendous lines. Much love.
Cordelia: So, are you saying she's invisible because she's so unpopular?
Buffy: That about sums it up.
Cordelia: Bummer for her. It's awful to feel that lonely.
Buffy: Hmm, so you've read something about the feeling?
Cordelia: Hey! You think I'm never lonely because I'm so cute and popular? I can be surrounded by people and be completely alone. It's not like any of them really know me. I don't even know if they like me half the time. People just want to be in a popular zone. Sometimes when I talk, everyone's so busy agreeing with me, they don't hear a word I say.
Buffy: Well, if you feel so alone, then why do you work so hard at being popular?
Cordelia: Well, it beats being alone all by yourself.
Cordelia: Buffy, I, uh, I, I know we've had our differences, with you being so weird and all, and hanging out with these total losers... Well, anyway, despite all of that, I know that you share this feeling that we have for each other, deep down...
Willow: Nausea?
...
Cordelia: This is all about me! Me, me, me!
Xander: Wow! For once she's right!
Buffy: So you've come to me for help.
Cordelia: Because you're always around when all this weird stuff is happening. And I know you're very strong, and you've got all those weapons... I was kind of hoping you were in a gang...
Cordelia: You were popular? In what alternate universe?
Buffy: In L.A. The point is, I did sort of feel like something was missing.
Cordelia: Is that when you became weird and got kicked out?
Buffy: Okay. Can we have the heartfelt talk with a little less talk from you?
Giles: You know, I-I don't recall ever seeing you here before.
Cordelia: Oh, no, I have a life.
:lmao:

it always bothered me that they never went back to that. shouldnt there have been an episode where they have to fight a team of invisible assassins or something? :silly:
Xander: Well, yeah, I would give anything to be able to turn invisible. Well, I wouldn't use my powers to beat people up, but I'd use my powers to protect the girls' locker room.
:wigglinge hehe, love that line: rotflmao

I'm already halfway through season 2. There are so many little tid bits that I want to get off my chest immediately after I watch an episode, but that's just it little tid bits. No where to really say them without making a new thread for the episode, and I'm not one to make a new thread for something as trivial as a tid bit that I loved or what not.
Still need to find the time to write about the finale for season 1 >.< No time at the moment or I'd be doing it right now, work, work, eww and work, on Labor day no less.
