Your favourite buffy characters/couples?

I blame youtube for this! Ive been watching alot of clips on there and now when I hear specific songs they immediatly remind me of buffy people! and just using my own imagination.

eg. Buffy and Spike - Self Esteem by the Offspring, On Call by Kings of Leon, Why Do You Love Me? by Garbage, In Your Honor by The Foo Fighters.

Buffy and Angel - Tainted Love by Marylin Manson

Xander and Cordelia - I Want You To Want Me by Letters To Cleo

Spike and the Buffybot - Plug in Baby by Muse

Willow and Oz - Breakout by The Foo Fighters

Faith - Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie, Hella Good by No Doubt.

also stuff that reminds me of episodes eg. The Wish - Hysteria by Muse, and the show itself - The Show Must Go On by Queen and Requiem For A Dream (cant remember who this is by)

This made me LOL. "Tainted Love"? Really? They seemed kind of tame for "Tainted Love", especially the Marilyn Manson version. "Tainted Love" makes me think of Spike/Angel, actually.

What a cool thread, it will make me listen to music! (not that I need the making)

I've always loved the mayor as a big bad, he's sorta the anti giles with the anti Buffy that is Faith.

I think a good song for them would be "My Girl", but I'm not sure who sings it...the earlier the better for the mayors sake! I think thats a good father daughter song, if not...as I can't wrap my head around "my girls" lyrics completely...there are a dozen country songs that fits a good father/daughter role very well.

I'm kinda caught up on Faith and the mayor right now, since I'm watching season 3's final episodes.

For the mayor (probably my favorite big bad that stayed bad) I'd say that R.E.M. song, "End of the World as We Know It." (?)

And for the Bad Faith, Pearl Jams "Nothingman" .....but in her case...nothingwoman....hmmm....I smell a re-write!

or (ironic enough as the band shares a Buffy title)....."misunderstood" by earshot.

um...magic-addicted willow works well with 'brain stew' by greenday. there was a video that made me think that, but i didnt find it on youtube, and i cant find where i did find it :p.

i've seen 'the scientist' - coldplay for almost every primary buffyverse couple (no lie :)), but ill always prefer it for willow/tara, 'cause, well, that was the first one i saw it with and it stuck :). and i do know where that one is (http://jetwolf.com/hof/4paws/alwys61_hg.zip) :D. < (pssst. watch it. its good :p)

oh, and there's 'head over feet' and 'bubbly' for willow/oz. they just have that cuteness factor, which matches that couple. there are videos, though. i think, when songs remind me of couples, there are always videos :silly:.
