Sequel to The Spell and The Easy Way
"Tara...I don't know what to say." Willow finally stammered.
"Well..." Tara said with a smile. "You could start with 'I love you too' and you could probably work up to 'Say, why don't we go get coffee or something?' "
"Oh yeah. Not thinking' " Willow blushed.
Willow and Tara went for coffee at the Starbucks around the corner from the Magic Box then went to the 6:45 showing of Nancy Drew #3: The Scarlet River Case which turned out to be a good movie.
'Well... that went great. I love this' Willow thought as they were walking home.
"Will! Tara!" It was Xander. "Hey" Tara said "What are you doing down here?"
"Looking' for Willow! We need you. There's been a break-in at the Magic Box! Come on" Xander said this in a hurry then pulled Willow's arm till' she was running with him.
"Come on Tara!" Willow was breathing fast by the time she Xander and Tara got to the Magic Box where Anya was in hysterics. Buffy was already there.
"I can't believe it! A break in!" It was Anya talking now. She looked, as if she was gonna cry.
"Cool down Anya" Tara was trying to comfort her. "Was anything taken?"
"Yeah. Canary feathers some powdered root of asphodel and a unicorn feather. Oh and two pink and red candles!" said Anya exasperatedly
"Wait a sec! That's love spell stuff!" Xander said. They all looked at him and he blushed violently "Well I do research!"
"Humph" Buffy was trying to stifle a giggle. "Who would want to steal love spell ingredients..."
Anya said, "Willow... Was it you?"
Tara looked at her and said, "Sweetie...you didn't did you...You... didn't...use...that...on me.... Did you?"
Willow didn't look at her but said firmly "NO! I didn't. I thought about it but I didn't do that!"
The was no sound for a while until Anya voiced the comment every one was avoiding "Well if Willow didn't then…who…did?"
The next day
"Hey honey! Sleep okay?" It was Tara! She was all ready to go shopping as they had planned.
Willow had just woken up and was about to fix herself coffee when she saw Tara had already made it and breakfast. "Thanks for making the food!"
"You're welcome. I've been thinking about what Anya said last night. Maybe it was Dawn"
"Dawn? No way!"
"Yeah, I mean it! She told me she really liked this guy but he didn't like her at all. She was really broken up about it."
"Well we could talk to her about it…" Willow fell over in a dead faint.
