Let me just say that it was very hard to judge this competition. 🙂 Since there are house points at stake, I didn't want to give more than 3 places, but even that turned into a dilemma and I ended up picking two for third and letting the artists tie. LOL
Let's start with the Honorable Mentions:
BuffyHead- We Are Forever

I was really impressed with the way you made the images look as if they were coming out of Buffy's head/mind. It was definitely a very unique piece. My only issue was that I felt you could work on matching the coloring/tone of all the images used a little more. Great work!

I loved that you did a piece around Sunnydale High School. 🙂 The colors in the gradients/textures you used are very pretty, but I felt like you might have been able to blend the edges of your screencap of the graduates a little better.
In 3rd Place, we have a tie. I simply could not choose between you! You guys both earned 25 points for your house; well done!
Chosen Enemy- I Kind of Love You

I absolutely love the way you arted this piece. The film reel was a cute touch, and I liked the crops of the screencaps you used. You did a great job representing this scene and Buffy's relationship with Willow.

This piece was one of the first entered, and you did an amazing job on it. I love the blending and the texture used for the background, and the screencaps you chose perfectly fit with the warmth of the scene and Buffy's relationship to Dawn. It's very fitting that you chose to art this scene, because it's the first time we really see Buffy accepting Dawn as her sister and sharing a beautiful bonding moment.

Scarlett Blade- Slayer of Vampires

This piece had me wowed... The moments you chose really show what being the Slayer is all about: her Watcher, her training, and of course, the weapon of choice. I love the cross stock you used for this, and the muted brown coloring gives it sort of an old-world feeling, which is fitting because the Slayer mythology goes back hundreds of years. Great work!
And now for our first place winner, winning a whopping 100 points for her dorm:

I am not shocked that your piece ended up being my favorite. Your work is always so beautiful, and once again your style shines in this piece. The bright colors of the background contrast wonderfully with the darkness in the promo shot of Buffy that you chose, and the quote is a good one to use since your theme was The Magic Box. The soft bokeh texture adds a hint of sparkle, also, which is great to tie into the theme. Wonderful piece!!
