Theory on Buffy season 8 ending.

Well if anyone remembers Fray, her demon pal told her of this big apocalyptic battle in Buffy's time that ended the demon threat, vanishing them all into another dimension.
.So, whos to say Joss isn't secretly bringing everything into order and tying a nice big bow on the entire Buffyverse. The cult brings about Twilight, demons go bye bye, fast forward a few hundred years, hello Melaka.

Whats your theory ..😉!

Joss has said he intends for season 8 to show how we got from "Chosen" to "Fray", so it's very likely we'll see the banishing of magic at the end of this season.

But there's going to be a season 9 too, so this isn't the end.

Yeah, the fact that there's a Season 9 planned would seem to indicate that everything doesn't end with Season 8. Plus, EVERYTHING supernatural isn't either destroyed or expelled from Earth, or there wouldn't be vampires (lurks) in Fray's time.

As far as that goes, we may find out that, ultimately, the whole story about the Final Battle and its outcome might be a lie fabricated by Fray's demon mentor (Urkon?). It wouldn't be the first time that Joss winds up ultimately slipping a red herring onto the fans. We were once led to believe that Buffy was healthy and happy cavorting around Rome with someone called the Immortal.

So Joss is trying to make it less obvious and unexpectingly ...😉!
Whats your thoughts ^^

Ok, so what if Twilight doesn't want the end of magic at all? What if he just wants to be the only, or at least drastically most powerful, magic being on the planet, thus eliminating any threat to his agenda?

Scott Allie (the editor) recently said that the future we've seen in Fray and Time of Your Life is not set in stone... but the story is now less about where we're going, and more about how we get there.

I took that to mean that season 8 *will* end up with the banishment of demons, vampires and magic from our world... but some specific things (like Future Dark Willow) might still be averted.

It's hard to imagine how season 9 could be about vampire slayers, demon hunters and witches in a world with no vampires, demons or magic... but who says season 9 will take place in our world?

In the scene in Fray that shows Buffy's last battle against the demons, there's a scene of Buffy being pulled through a portal by some tentacled thing. That suggests she (and possibly the surviving Scoobies as well) end up in another world. Season 9 might be about their attempt to get home. And some of them (Willow, maybe) might not really *want* to get home to a magic-less world. That could explain where Willow spends her time between the end of season 9 and when we see her in Time of Your Life... maybe she was in some other world, continuing to work with magic until she became slightly insane and something other than human... until magic started to return to our world and she was able to return (but only able to use the feeble magic of our world.)

^^ Or thiers is going to be a big battle for reailty and existence.so Fang team and the scoobies are working together in a huge army of slayers,to fight twilights army ..!!!! That could happen and thier finally loss and twilight is victorious and he sents Buffy army to an hell dimenson and in season 9 thier trying to get home and have revenge..!🙂

very interesting theory. Will be a very special issue if that happens. Though hopefully won't happen for a while. (I also need to read Fray)

For those for those who aren't caught up on canon Buffyverse materials, all we've really seen of "The Apocalypse" are these three pages:
