Slayer Battle Royale

I thought of merging this with the favourite slayer thread, but this one is more about who's toughest, than who do you like the most.

My choice: Fray. Hands down, no contest.

I'm gonna say Buffy because not only was she physically tough, she was very strong emotionally too.

I voted Buffy also, just from all of the situations she had to deal with, the seemingly unsurmountable odds she overcame.

Not to look for a debate or anything, but just to point out to anyone who hasn't read the graphic novel; . She's been around the block.

Plus she has all that street training, street smarts, and grit. What she has that Faith doesn't is she can handle responsibility, and lead if she has to. Faith lets her fear of responsibility slow her down.

From what Nerd4hire said, Fray does sound pretty awesome. But I thought Kendra and the Primitive were also cool, along with B and Faith....so.....Hmmm. That is a tough one!

Oh yeah, Kendra and the Primitive. I forgot about them.

I voted for Fray as well. She is so tough🙂

Buffy...without a doubt! She is so strong in every aspect as Cordelia said. Dying twice and still surviving. No matter how she came back she surrounded herself with the right beings. She dealt with the toughest situations a slayer could deal with.

I keep on remembering slayers that should be on the list. How about Nikki Wood?

I mean yeah Spike whupped her, but a no-name vampire almost got lucky fighting Buffy one time.

Where did I read a comic with a Nikki Wood story in it? Was it Tales of the Slayer(s)? or was it dark horse via BBC? I just remember thinking the Art work was good and Nikki appeared to have mean skills.

Oh! Nikki! I think she'd take my vote simply for being a Slayer and having a kid.

Fray was tough, physically and emotionally. Buffy was strong in both those ways too, but Buffy never had to kill her own Watcher.

I really think Buffy without a doubt was the strongest slayer.

I voted for Buffy.I also think that Injured Girl is pretty strong.We see her fighting ubervamps, and escaping the school, with Vi and Rona.I also like Caridad and Chao Ahn, but I don't think they should be up there, cause they were not in the last episode.And we didn't really get to see them fight, as the slayer.I seen Injured Girl fight as the slayer, so I think she's strong.I could only vote for one so I voted for Buffy.Second would be Injured Girl, Xin Rong, and Niki Wood.I would vote for Caridad and Chao Ahn, cause they were some of my fav characters, but I won't vote for this one, because we didn't actually see them fighting as a slayer, cause they weren't in the lastg ep.We didn't see how they fought the ubervamps, maybe they had fallen, who knows?Cause they weren't in that episode.I also vote for for Shannon.We don't really see her fighting in the last ep.But we do see her in the last scene.She survived, unlike many others, so that must mean she was strong.(FACT:The actresses who played Kennedy and Shannon were the only people who had no stunt doubles.This is according to a ubervamp actor, who wrote an on set article on the last episode.)So those are my votes.I also vote for Kendra and Faith.

I don't know who's the toughest, but my vote goes to Xin Rong, from "Fool For Love" as the Slayer with the best fighting moves. Her fighting style exemplify kung fu, at its best. Everyone else fought as if they had spent a year or two learning tae kwon do at a gym. She probably would have turned Spike into dust, if she hadn't been distracted by that explosion. Just as Joyce with an ax and the government chip had saved Buffy from becoming Spike's third Slayer.

I voted for Buffy. I don't know who Fray is, so I can't really vote for her.
Even though I don't always like Buffy, as a slayer I think she's the best.

Buffy gets my vote,her fighting style was very co-ordinated and her moves were pratically flawless,and she knew what she had to do as her duty as the Slayer,her emotions gave her more power,and she was very strong emotionally

This would be better dealt with via pm but just to answer - either you wish to participate in the awards or you don't. We're not going to keep track of who wants or doesn't want which banner.

Oh and I voted for Faith because she is pretty badass - though I've not read Fray so I can't comment on her. 🙂

You can't say Fray is the toughest.If Fray were in tv, that would be a whole different story.You haven't seen Fray fight against Buffy or any of the other slayers.So you couldn't judge a comic book character up against tv characters.

About the Fray thing, aren't the vampires in the time of Fray not as powerful as vampires in Buffy's time. I believe I read that.
