Buffy Boards Christmas carol competition - win points for your house!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls I am pleased to announce the start of the BB Christmas carol competition right here, in this very thread! Inspired by killerdwarf's Christmas singalong extravaganza from last year ( read it again here ) here is a chance to have some festive fun and win points for your house in the Interdorm contest.

We're asking members to compose a BB-related Christmas song using one of these opening lines...

On the first day of Christmas my BB gave to me...

God rest ye merry Buffy boards...

The songs will be judged by a panel consisting of BB's own three wise men, Old Master III, killerdwarf and me, ably assisted by other staff members. We will be looking for the song that makes us LOL the most. You should look to include mentions of your BB friends (and others) but please keep it clean (though good double entendres are positively encouraged 🙂) and please do not bash fellow members. Other than that, feel free to express yourself festively to your heart's content.

We will be awarding 100 house points to the winner, 60 points to the runner-up and 20 points to the third-placed song.

Post your entries in this thread, which will be closed around 17th December, so we can judge the entries. I hope to announce the results in time for Christmas...as they say around my adopted home, "Fill yer boots!" (translation for non-northerners - "please enter the competition and help make some old men laugh over the holiday season" 😉)

My Silent Night one isn't suitable for this competition SO if I have time, i'll do something else🙂

All entries are very welcome, as long as they're funny, witty, satirical, wry, hilarious, amusing (you get my point 😉)...don't worry if you don't think you're a great writer, just have some fun trying...we'll be laughing with you not at you 🙂

A couple of points of clarification from the posts above...

...feel free to change the names in the first lines I've provided...hell, feel free to use first lines of your own (as long as they're BB versions of Christmas carols or songs)...here's another one for you...

...I hadn't thought about minimum or maximum word counts but if you've only got three or four lines, you should have a really high laugh per line ratio...and if you really have written the BB Ring Cycle you should know that KD, OM and I need to take regular naps at our ages and may not be able to read it all 😉

I really suck at creative writing... well things like this anyways.. here is my entry!
