Yup, Angel theme. I love both, though. But Angel just gives you this feeling...this feeling...okay, I was looking for great words but I culdn't find any so I'm sticking with what you said, hroic and epic.

Btw, I recently heard the Buffy theme playing in the background in a documentary...that was kinda weird
 
As inspirational and fitting as the Angel Theme was.....

Love 'em both, but I voted for the Angel theme song. It's sort of haunting and beautiful...plus, it just fits the show better. As much as I love the Buffy theme song, it didn't really fit the more dramatic episodes (I mean, who else thought it was weird hearing a loud rock song right after the teaser of The Body?)
 
I went with ANGEL too. Whiel I love them both, I find myslef wanting to listen to Angel's themesong but not Buffy's.
 
I can play Angel on guitar. It's great on acoustic.

I can play the Buffy theme on guitar and bass, but now, I feel compelled to learn the Angel theme.
Meh, I guess I'm biased because as a general rule I don't like self indulgent, mopey music. I prefer something that you can tap your feet to and Nerf Herder are actually a pretty good band in general.
I must say I'm quite surprised that so many people actually like the Angel theme tune, I thought it was entirely nothing, stirred no feelings inside of me.
As with most things Buffy vs Angel, Buffy wins me over again!

(And I enjoy doing my daggy Buffy dance every time the song plays...)

The angel theme music really annoys me for some reason, I really dont like it!
 
Darling Violetta's theme is more melodic, Nerf Herder's theme is a bit trash. If it wasn't for the good sentimental value I probably wouldn't have liked it much.
 
Hands down the theme for "Angel"! I have that on my MySpace page! I used to have it on my old cell phone. I just love the music and how dark and mysterious it sounds. Freakin' awesome!!!
 
Angel for me - it is so beautiful. I never skip it on my ipod, i sometimes skip the buffy theme.
