Great Members Pt. 2

The last one is on cemetery so i'll start new one because i fell in love with idea of previous. So, is there people who you had developed friendship that you would not have developed without BB? I'll start with --- The Kinslayer

When I signed to bb, The Kinslayer was one of first people who i started to regonize from name and writing style at the boards. And when i got his MSN, i started to get him better and realized; he is one most awesomest persons i have ever met.
He is so kind, understanding, little bit shy (this is good thing, belive me) and so helpful. I must admit, he is only man who i could date or fall in love with. He has been better help to my mental disease than any medicine out there. Sometimes he is littlebit overprotecting but it is just so cute from him.

Thanks Tobias, so you are so sweet.

What can i say? This board really are amazing and although I haven´t got that many "close" realationships just yet I´ve met some wonderful people. And even though I´m sure I´ll forget most of you if I try to name you all I think I´ll try to take it from the beginning. So sorry Maria (and the rest of you), you´ll have to wait.

What can I say? I don´t think I ever met a more awesome person, no disrespect to the rest of you. Friendly, helpful, wise beyond her years (got really shocked then I found out how old you are), always in a good mood, an imagination I can only dream of and a great banner-maker. Ok, I can go on forever. So I better stop. Love you! Don´t ever change.

Well I haven't made any close friends of yet, (most likely because I have to use my sisters laptop and it's a Mac so no MSN chatty).

There are alot of people who's writing style and 'way of thinking' I now recognize and have often thought, 'Thats typical NAME'.

There are also alot of people I think fondly of, although it would be very hard to think ill of any of you.

I too, love this idea! I just cannot ever decide on one person (so many great members here at BB!). Here's three more that stand out, although I could think of about 50 names off hand. I'll get to all you guys eventually 😉

The Kinslayer
For reasons mentioned above and others, he really is a great guy. Polite, helpful, friendly and always there to catch my endless typos (😉 which I truly look forward to, never a dull moment with him around!). Really though, he brings a lot to the boards without even realising it; I always look forward to what he has to say. He really goes above and beyond to make others feel welcome, and is never afraid to step up and put himself out there. Very glad I've had the honour of having him in VH! 🙂

Crazy Flakes
Another awesome member, she's just amazing as far as I'm concerned! Always has something upbeat to contribute, supportive of others around the boards, always puts a smile on my face! She's one of those people that you see her username pop up and you can't help but check it out. A very creative individual, has amazing attention to detail (I've never met someone so aware of their post count, and she always makes sure she HAS something to say when she posts). And let's be hoonest-- she's just a cute member! :silly: Really can't say enough good about this girl, hope she sticks around for the long haul!

Jenny
She and I have known each other for a few years off and on, and I've always seen just how amazingly NICE this member is. She's the type of person that you can really ask anything and she'll be more than happy to answer (despite how silly you may think that question is!). Stood out as a very approachable member from the start, but after getting to know her since her return I've learned just how true that is. She wears her heart on her sleeve and puts so much effort into everything she does. Imaginative, open to other opinions, hard-working, organized, friendly... I could really keep going with this. An awesome person to work with and a great friend for sure! She's a keeper 😀

You can actually get MSN Messenger for Macs...I have been known to use it very occasionally...it comes in very useful on BB Awards nights 🙂 Apparently it doesn't have as many whizzy features as the normal Messenger but it does what I want 🙂

I formed quite a special realtionship with social Suicide aka Kristine which would not have been possible without the forums.

There's so many lovely people, I'm not going to pick just one, but I'm going to start off with Senior Watcher.

He stood out right away on the boards for being an all round good guy, you know? His posts really make me laugh out loud and he is such a nice guy. Nice. That sounds like such a bland thing to say about someone so cool but being a genuinely nice and friendly person is very important in my eyes. There's a good reason why he's the VH motm - everyone loves him! 🙂

And I think people will agree with me when I say that he is missed when he isn't here.

I haven't made any "off-site" friends here (yet!) but so far I'm board-crushing on White Avenger!

Joyce Summers - because shes like the mum of the boards and she looks out for everyone . She is very repectfull and a caring member of the bb x

Joyce Summers- sometimes I almost call you mom! you're so sweet, soooo supportive and always manage to make me feel happy! you're like the ULTIMATE mommy. I don't know what I'd do without you! and I'm not just saying that!

Social Suicide- we are pretty close I'd say! we have regular msn convos and you're so friendly and interesting, we always find great stuff to talk about! I'm so glad you have internet in Belgium!! 😀

Buffy Obsessed Fan-yay! someone my age! 😛 I'm very glad I met you- you seem like so much fun! 😀

Hmm, you guys have almost made me feel like getting MSN! But ever since my friend got hacked through MSN, I've been afraid of it. Anyone else ever had that issue? 'Cause if not, I might have to risk it, because you all seem like fun people.

Okay, so when he first joined he was a lot to handle-- wow this guy can get enthusiastic! But really, he is one of the members who has really become a BB staple for me, I always miss him when I don't see him posting around. He's always got something chipper to say, a crazy idea or just crazyness in general. He speaks his mind and is the kind of member that you can't help but love. I don't do banners for him often, but when I do he always has a challenge-- such big ideas! I love this guy-- really!

DarklyDreamyDrusilla: (sorry if that's spelt wrong, that gets me every time!)
So, DDD. Over the couple years she's been around, we haven't talked TOO too much, but really she's gotta be one of my favourite members. She's energetic, active, helpful, just a great gal to have around. She's a really fun member, and is friendly but never takes it too over the top. Well balanced that way, which is sometimes a very helpful quality to have in this kind of setting. I don't know if she's ever noticed me, but really I think she deserves to be mentioned 🙂


Also HUGE shoutouts to Senior Watcher (who has recently got a write up, so he knows my opinion of him!), EVERY OTHER VH-er!!! Seriously, I can't believe how much I enjoy talking to each and every one of you! Also to Lyri and Joyce Summers who I have just recently started to get to know, but are really lovely people. And of course Social Suicide: who again, I don't know too too well just yet, but the more time goes on the more I find some similarities that are pretty crazy between us. And Bangelxx-- my fellow buffy/angel addict. Another one of my fave members for sure (seriously, I love you all! It's bad :silly: ). She and I always seem to have a good time when we trade karma reps or signature ratings 😉

Crazy Flakes is my best friend in real life AND on BB, so I guess I have no choice but to add her to the list. And she made me popcorn today, so I owe her. xP And plus, she's my favorite character. *Points at info*
The Kinslayer is always nice, even to new members, like me! And he always makes good posts.
Joyce Summers' posts are always a joy to read, and she's so nice to everyone. Plus, she has a beautiful baby, and she seems like a wonderful mom. :]
There are a lot of other people, too, but I'm pretty new; I haven't really gotten to know anyone yet (aside from Crazy Flakes, of course)!

Well I could mention all of the VH. You´re all awesome and you know it. And if anyone of you other people ever doubted the fact, we do have proof. Didn´t you know?!!! I´m sorry I missed it. But in the end there are a few people that stands out a little more than the rest.

Keanoite: You all know how awesome she is. The first person I just “had” to send a pm to without even knowing. Had to be the “good” loser. But the good thing is that it´s her turn next season. 😉 And now I am her adoptee and that shows that she isn´t afraid of hard work.

Crazy flakes: The other VH-member that stood out the most then I arrived. No surprise there since she was VH motm. I couldn´t believe her age either to tell you the truth. There´s just something special with the VH girls. Smart, funny, caring and great taste no matter the subject.

Lorneytunes : Ok, so she´s a little crazy. She made me kill Anya! And she thinks she´s older than me. Ok, so I can´t blame her for that but still. She´s real fun and totally nice. But I can´t but wonder whatever she did to piss off msn so much. She´s a yoyo. Special thanks for everything last night. I´m looking forward to more of the same.

InLoveWith Buffy: Maria, my little gay girl. What can I say? You make me spend more time on msn in one day than I had the last six months before I met you. It shows how special you are. I can´t stay away. On the downside, I really need to move away from the computer. And if I was a 16 year old lesbian I would be yours forever. Love ya!

Juniorwatcher: Can´t believe how many messages there´s been. Who knew visitor messages was so addictive? You really need to get your msn to work. Otherwise we´re gonna crash this site. And she rambles, or as she´d like to put it “write essays”. I love it what ever you call it. And she makes me say things like “Rambobarbie”. You just have to love a person like that. And she makes a great Illyria, just as long as I don´t have to clean up all the paint.

The mysterious Spirit_of_Fred: Haven´t got to know her as well as I´d like, but she has so much to learn me. Mysterious make the interest go up. I really need to learn that. But at least I´ve learned how nice and caring she is. And I´m looking forward to get to know her better.

Social suicide: Not that we talk much, but I noticed her from the very beginning. Partly of course since she was one of the few people that was online the same time I was in the morning (and most of the day). But her posts seemed to say most of the things I wanted to say, so I quickly became fond of her. And of course there´s the Cangel love! To bad she doesn´t knit. 😉

And then there´s my two wonderful adoptees:

BepperGirl: A girl that can teach me a thing or two about organization. I´m way impressed. And the “visitor message chats” are great. Always looking forward to them. Puts a smile on my face before I´ve read them. She has great taste in most things so far. And today she learned me that we have a “special” connection. No wonder we belong together.

Gwen: I miss you girl! There should be a law somewhere that says you have to pop in every other day to at least say hello no matter there you are. You´re such a good egg. 🙂

And there´s no way not to mention the next two in a thread like this. Joyce Summers & Bangelxx. Total sweethearts both of them in their own special way. Don´t tell anyone, but you guys actually made me wanting to be sorted in Drogyn. Em even did a dance for me. Now I of course know how foolish I was. But I´m man enough to admit my mistakes.


At last I feel the need to mention two other scots. BlueBird (who I thanks to Em like to call my little hummingbird) and Lee “I can´t make my mind up” (leethehost/williamtheebloody/ghostface). You always put a smile on my face. Can never thank you enough for that.

Ok, so I know I haven´t named you all. The list is long enough! But if you do feel left out, just slap me in the head and have a go at me and I´ll include you next time. You all know how bad my memory is.

Now The Kinslayer. We were newbies at the same time - still are I suppose and on my first post I made a bit of a mistake:blush:, and guess who it was to correct me?:lmao:

So he was the first person I noticed and he continued to stand out for me with his warm and friendly demeanour. You're such a modest guy too, that's a real nice quality to have, you know?

Always has something great to say on every subject. He represents everything I've come to associate with bb - welcoming, loyal, fun, fun, fun!

Ooh, I have someone I want to mention! InsaneMystic is a great and very cute member who always has something nice to say!

And I think I have to mention Yam Sham, just because if I didn't, she'd whap me over the head with something.

im going to do this one by one because, well, im not made of time! although thats a funny picture, huh? someone who's literally made of time? :silly: ill stop now.

well, ill go on and mention The Kinslayer first.

before i got to know him a bit better, id been hearing people rave about him on the boards, and was a bit curious (see? curiousity's really a good thing! 😛 and ill have none of this cat-killing nonsense!). heck, just look at the posts above to see how people rave 😀. im glad that he (and thus far only he 😛) posted a message on my page, the first in fact, so we could get to know each other a little better. ive enjoyed the small chats we have had, and its cool that he too likes himym. ive also enjoyed reading many of his posts on BB. he is definetely a great addition to the BB family!

Oh gosh, I just know I'm going to forget people here. Now this is in NO particular order at all, haha.

Keanoite- Many reasons I love you to bits. We bonded on our first day at Buffy-Boards. Both of us newbies, both of us confused, both of us avid fans. Of course then you went and got 2,000 posts in like a month and got promoted, but still I felt we were in the same boat. Haha. And you seem to always give off this constant lively, friendly vibe. Pro-active with pep? Haha.

Bangelxx- Ah, the Dawn to my Joyce. Only without the screaming 'Get out' and such. I hope. 😉. I just love you to bits, you make me want to mother you, haha, and I seriously hope you don't mind. You're such a lovely girl, and I don't think you ever have a bad word to say about anyone. I'm so very glad you're in Drogyn!🙂

Lily- Whether it's Buffy-Boards, LiveJournal or MSN you have this amazing ability to make me do this little quirk of a smile. You just amuse me. In a laughing WITH you kinda way. I think if we'd come across one another in person rather than online you'd be one of those I instantly clicked with. Whether you wanted to click with me or not. Plus you expand my vocabulary with words such as bi-coastal...:Blush:

Social Suicide- Well, intriguing me with your stories of your new college lifestyle and such you somehow make my young self feel old....and miss college. Haha. I think you were another member I clicked with instantly on here. Welcome to that elite crew! Haha. Your Getting to Know You answers are always a good read, and I can never help laughing at how you try and get our deepest darkest secrets out of us all!

Crazy Flakes- I feel if I just talk about your art it makes me sound like a total shallow art slut. But seriously- your art makes me drool! I adore it. And you know, I like you too.....haha. I love your posts on here- I think I agree with most of them and on that rare occassion I don't I still enjoy reading them because you always have something worthwhile to say. You also seem to be a fountain of random knowledge at times, which is, well, cool.

The Kinslayer- I don't know actually how I came across knowing you in particular. It just sort of happened, but I'm glad it did. I enjoy our visitor message conversations, even though neither of us like to leave the other hanging message-free, so the aforementioned conversations are doomed to last forever. And you just seem..naturally inquisitive, and it really comes off in your posts, and I like that a lot. What I'm trying to say is- you make me think. And that is definitely not a bad thing. ;-)

Lyri- You appreciate Dean Winchester in all his wonderfulness. Do I need to say anymore about why I like you? Haha. You were one of those members I didn't know very well for ages and then suddenly...I did. One of us must have jumped the other at some point, I'm just not sure which. Either way, I'm glad about it. Haha.

StuckInTraffic- I think you've recieved the most erm 'essays' about my recent motherhood. More than anyone else anyway! And instead of complaining or ignorning me or whatever, you nod and listen and reply and do that thing called conversation. Real novelty that, haha. An all-round enjoyable member that I just, well, like.

PalabraVampiress- My brain-sharing buddy. Also my L.A-Sharing buddy. And boy are you posts deeply philosophical at times- it amazes me. Sometimes I erm, have to read them twice to get the full gist, haha. A great member, and just like Keanoite, we were newbies together. Kinda creates a bond you know? 😉

And now there are those members I love even if I don't talk to them as often as others. Junior Watcher- except for our very long PM conversation, I don't we've had over-contact but everytime we do, I really enjoy it. You're a great person to talk to and up on your Buffy knowledge. Angelic Slayer- only really started making with the communicating here since I was upped to Drogyn prefect, but I find myself liking you more the more I know ya. Alexa- I think I go through phases of talking to you a lot and then Code Silence. Weird. But the talking to you a lot phases are MUCH more fun. 😉 Aethra- I don't know why but in the Drogyn posts you tend to remind me of me in high school, which is strange but from my view point a good thing. Whether you think it's a good point however is another thing entirely. Haha. And in any other posts- always an enjoying read and just like Kean you give off that same friendly vibe which is lovely. Lorney Tunes- your NAME amuses me, haha. But also, I like you. Again I don't think I've spoken to you too much, but everytime I come across you it's always a good time...wait, that didn't come out right. Spirit of Fred- Pretty much the same as Lorney Tunes I have to say, except your name makes me go 'Aww' and I also envision Amy Acker for the putting a face to you, I'll admit...hehe.

Just wanna make a quick post here. Aint made any *real* friends, y'know! but a few members i want to mention.
The Kinslayer- Well, everyone else has so i may as well too. We registared(*spellcheck*) at the same time and he is the most recognizable name for me on BB. Cool guy, and unlike me, actually takes time to write smart posts.

Also, Bluebird and Lorneytunes, and not coz they're Scottish, but coz their cool.

And, DarklyDreamingDrusilla, InsaneMystic, Crazyflakes and LittleMissLikesToFight,(my adopter) all for having the best names on BB.

Also, Schillaci(never on anymore) and Dlou444, because, ive had good nights on BB with these people, having a couple of funny arguments. They're quick to jump on any mistake i make, and as a result, we argued for hours one night,(i loved it)

The man with many Names Leethehose, Williamtheebloody and ghostface, is very endearing, a complete wind up most of the time but hes cool with it , if you don't know hes joking most of the time he is. Plus he always notices when ppl are drinkin beer and what are you listening too where do you find theese songs ha ha ha x

Fakeshemp - a new member but ditzy like me , i think we have lots in common and they are cute to boot and really funny x

The choosen - TC helped me when i didn't know how to make banners so very kind x

Darklydreamingdrusilla - she has a very cool name and is always nice , she makes valid points in all her posts and she likes fotc X


White avenger - is a smarty pants know it all but its why i love reading his posts x

Blondie bear - she has a the coolest sig iam in love with it and it makes me wanna watch Labyrinth and she makes me laugh x


Bluebird - mainly because she makes sense all of the time , never has spelling mistakes apparently lol and has lorne in her avatar and is a close friend x


Clem rocks - because they love clem and i love clem , Cheers "clem clem clem clem clem "

Dancing man - because hes friendly and has great taste in movies can be a bit of a wind up too x
