Favorite fan Fiction sites

For those of us who like to read Buffyverse fan fiction, either occasionally or more regularly, what are the main sites you usually go to?

The ones that I visit most frequently are:

"The Spuffy Realm"

"Vampire's Kiss"

And when I want to read something besides Spike/Buffy:

"Fan Fiction Net"


(Of course, discression should be used, because most Fan Fiction sites include stories suitable for adults only.)

I basically go to Fan Fiction Net whenever I want to read fics of any kind, because there you are most likely to find something. Otherwise I try googling but only rarely come up with anything good.

Try Twisting The Hellmouth. Fantastic Buffy crossover fiction there.

Another you might give a look see at is The Watchers Council.

They're the ones who do the virtual series Watchers.

WaTchers Season Five

If you like fan fiction you NEED to go to Virtual Mutant! It's an AWESOME site that has virtual continuations and virtual spinoffs and it's created it's own little "Jossverse". (As they call it.)

Oh, the Twisting the Hellmouth seems interesting. I love a well done cross-over.

That said I don't read that much fanfic at the moment, I'm a sucker for original stuff that's posted online though and my favourite site for that is (though there are a few Buffy stories on there);
The Athenaeum

Another good site with a variety of fandoms on (very much including Buffy) is;
Passion & Perfection

Be warned both these sites cater for a queer audience. That means it will be hard to find a single story that at least does not mention a homosexual couple in it.

I don't usually read a lot of fanfic, but I can usually find some decent sites when the mood strikes me to read something; such as Xenon's Fanfic Dungeon......


Xenon's Dungeon


Xenon's has some excellent Buffyverse tales, among other non-Buffy stuff such as Highlander or Doctor Who...or the Tribe, just to name a few.

If ya go to Xenon's, I recommend you read the Giles/Ripper stories, as they have got to be some of the best Giles stuff on the net.

I've also found sites devoted to only single characters of the Buffyverse....such as this website I found once which is based in the "Wishverse", where both Buffy and Angel are dead, but Doyle emerges as a leading force for good......

That one also comes highly recommended. There's only a few stories, though, as they never got around to completing their virtual season one.
