Concluding from my previous posts in the Seasons 4, 5, & 6 areas, this is of course designed for those whom wish to watch both Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel in a format that is consistent to both air-dates and continuity within the episodes (such as when one episode takes up where a previous left off). Put a lot of work into this, it's ordered specifically how I personally feel the concurrent seasons are best at being watched together. With all that said, tricky air-dates these last seasons notwithstanding, do enjoy~

I don't agree. Some of the buffy episodes are concurrent with the Angel episodes, so in some of those cases, it would be okay to mix them together, where you had them all run together. And it's really hard to come up with a good time frame because the majority of Angel's fourth season took place over a course of a few weeks. That said, I wouldn't be able to correctly make up a list of episodes, so I commend you on your efforts.

Well, I did do the best I could in making it out to be an 'even spread'. As you said, they're very hard to organize at certain areas due to the large serializing format Angel took on in its fourth season, while Buffy went a more-or-less season arc, yet with both shows mirroring up again around "Salvage" and "Lies My Parents Told Me". I figured that since the Beast's blackout seemed to be an event that terrorized L.A. for a while, I could have the above 8 Buffy episodes go straight while offscreen, Angel and the others were dealing with the initial hell of the blackout, battling countless vamps coming to L.A., and figuring out if (& how in Wesley's case) they should resort to Angelus.

I figure that having 8 Buffy eps straight paves the way to have as many Angel episodes in certain areas (4-5 eps) while only doing one Buffy ep at a time ("Lies My Parents Told Me", "Dirty Girls") until getting to the last four episodes of each season. The main quirkiness comes from, as we've both acknowledged, the serializing format Angel took on, as well as tricky air-dates. For example, on UPN's airing of Buffy, Willow received a certain phone call from Fred after she'd already returned to the WB in Angel to re-ensoul Angelus, while meanwhile Buffy's last four episodes took on a serializing format of their own and that had to be factored after Angel had defeated Jasmine and been given the Amulet by Wolfram & Hart

It was very hard to work out and certain liberties had to be taken, but I like to think I organized everything in as solid a manner as possible so both seasons could be watched simultaneously on DVD. I ain't Joss, I'm just a humble fan whom watched these concurrent seasons and researched more on them than I care to admit. My episode guides are what they are, hopefully some of you guys try them out and maybe find them to good use.
